But the swimsuit doesn't have to be equipped to use Skill Awakening on it. And some swimsuits aren't character specific. This system is a mess and the explanation in-game is shit. It's almost as bad as how you get 2 copies of each suit but it doesn't tell you which copy you're working with. Trading, upgrading, gifting, locking, using as an upgrade source, all use one of the two suit copies but don't say which.

You know there's tons of ftp games with Marie in them if you need to release some tension. DOA5 Core Fighters, DOA6 Core Fighters, X3 Fortune ftp, X3 Scarlet ftp, and of course both versions of VV.

Grind. Level your swimsuits. My suits are 41 and 47 right now (both SSR) and my girls are both 27. Despite what that other guy says, I don't use the Trending suits. Those aren't going to help after lower ranks since their stats are WAY below your team-mates. You can probably use the eye masks for 5% boost (the ones bought with gold trophies) but I haven't tried.

I'm hitting 6500 and 7000 points in A-Rank. It's mostly levels (suit and girls), but also a TON of luck. The girls have to hit the right techniques. If you have a power team that keeps doing feints instead of spikes, your score is going to be shit. You have to keep trying until all the stars align and you get a significant amount of spikes (for pow) or feints (for tech). Also, as someone else said, find an extremely powerful guest to substitute. One with an SSR suit that (idealy) matchest your strategy (strong tec or str). Those help a ton.

You can still call in a high appeal sub, it multiples the points at end of match.

How do you level up outfits?

10min = when you are playing the game
6hour = when you are done for the day/going to sleep

I was wrong, 1 was 39. And it's extremely easy - but tedious. This:
Keep running the 10 minute training all fucking day while you're doing other things. I am doing pow for the 39 suit today. Yesterday, I took that 47 suit from the high-20's to to 47 just by running stamina training.

Get to SS+ and say that shit, buddy.

Because the reward for 10 minutes is the same as 60 minutes, as far as upgrade gems. The EXP is less but the gem payout is the same. So 10 minutes at a time is 6x the upgrade gems of 60 minutes.

The event SSRs are always better than the Venus SSRs. This is why you NEVER spend stones on Venus gacha. ONLY use stones on Event Gacha. The only time you should be doing Venus pulls if you have tickets for free pulls.

SRs can farm C-rank events but not S-rank them since they hover at 2500+ points

If you want to try the actual fightan game you can play the free core fighters version to get a taste of the gameplay. If you want the gawking it the girls thing you can play VV for free (but it's gachashit) or buy DOA3X for the PS4 or Switch, or you grab Honey Select/Koikatsu models for them so you can give them the D.

I'm an SR only and I have been able to S-rank event B rank matches. not all of them yet since I need some appeal luck from the right guest to do it but it's doable as long as you grab the trending gear for the score multiplier plus a solid guest.

there's an event you can do that just gives coins and once a week there a SS rank version of it that appears but even with max lvl ssr suits i still fail it
