You know, I just finished GTA IV again for probably the 20th time, and I was thinking of you while doing this mission. Did you get off to this shit in GTA IV like you do in Red Dead?

I don't really play GTA4 these days and the hanging fantasies specifically are things I like to play out in Red Dead Redemption games. I kidnapped and hogtied a female bandit in RDR2, drowned her because you can't hang her or bring her in to the sheriff and report her crime like you do with the hooker. Then I rode around with her still tied up body on my horse wondering if she'd rot and then dumped her to a pig pen.
I think if I can't get a girl specifically hanged or at least strangled then I prefer kidnapping and having them tied up and in fear over killing or causing pain. Back when I was playing GTA games I didn't like the thought of harming girls even in fantasy.

I thought that playing towards Arthur's end would make the subsequent playthroughs feel unbearable but honestly I just felt like the game's story arcs are really well done and makes you appreciates the highs and lows the game had in regards to the gang. Then the epilogue feels so satisfying when John takes revenge on Micah, revenge that he had coming.
