The beta for this appearently just came out, did anyone get in? How is it?

What do you think?
It's a city reconstructer with lots of timers and gems.
You pretty much just collect materials in levels to rebuild a town and craft shit.
All with timers. Opening chests has timers. Everything has timers.
It's a free mobile game, what do you expect it to be like besides garbage?
Runs decent if your phone isn't shit, combat good, Inon Zur good, timers bad
Massive battery hog.
What the hell is the point of making a mobile game if I have to be shackled to a charger to play it?
i played it this morning, seems cool. haven't tried to play it with a joystick yet. takes a while to get used to the controls.
Great fucking game. 2 days of waiting.
Just took a quick look at videos of it. This game looks like pure shit. And most of those videos are just people very obviously paid to talk about it as if they're excited and their soul isn't dying.
even if you're pulling that out of your ass you'd probably still be spot on
He’s not. I’m playing it and his analysis is spot on.
>Pre-registered months ago
>Still can't play
Too simple to be interesting. It’s just click-grind and waiting.
They let me into the beta and I went through the trouble of downloading it, but now it's asking me for my Bethesda account information and that's a lot of work to type into a phone. Are they nuts? I just ended up uninstalling it.
>I'm so lazy I can't type a username and password
It's not an Elder Scrolls game, that's for sure, just as each sequel stripped away more and more features, this one is practically barbones.
It's a mobile game, nobody expected TES VI.
I was hoping for a TES at least, but it's not open-world, I can't loot everything, it doesn't seem to feature skills, and my first item pick-up was lumber, my second looked like moon sugar but it was limestone.
When I get a wooden chest I have to stare at it for 5 seconds before it'll open, silver, 3 hours. There's gold/septims, and there's the inspiredly-named "gems".
I've done 2 quests and there hasn't been anything that made me go "aw yiss they put in X" or "hah this is just like when Y" it's barren of anything Elder Scrolls. It's literally not TES.
Will this get an unlimited gems hack at some point?
Probably, but it'd have to be offline-only right?
>played through a dungeon
>named my town lynchelves
it's alright but you can see the turbojew monetization fairly quickly
does the game being online actually give you anything significant?
not him btw
There are skills, perks, and spells you unlock as you level up.
based town name
Barring that; is there character customisation yet?
Abilities, but not skills, no daggers/shortswords/longswords/hammers/axes/crafting/sneak/pickpocket/lockpick/repair/etc.
only for Beshitsda to confirm your chest-unlock/construction timer finished, and to make sure you're not hacking in any currency.
Hardly, some 9 presets for each of the few features of the head/face, a slider for height and build and that's it.
Everything you're asking with a 1st person perspective is impossible on phones though.
oh but looting lumber and limestone isn't?
fuck of retard, have your (You) and just shut the fuck up, you're an embarrassment to human intelligence and you've likely descended from a long line of male pregnancies.
>A massive open world with quests is just as doable as opening some shitty boxes for loot
>thing that's been done for ages on older consoles can't be done on phones when they've already caught up and blasted past said console specs
retard more brainfarter
Lmao phones aren't even close. You don't understand specs in the slightest.
oh and I forgot to say it doesn't need to be so pretty that it hogs more resources than available, as long as it plays right, because I'm not a GRAPHICS FAG
>phones aren't even close
Rockstar's calling, they want you to spend your hard-earned shekels on their playstore page!
Phones are limited by horrendous battery life, terrible heat dissipation, and pitiful GPUs where the CPU does most of the work. They can't render shit.
>Game from 2001 that ran on a glorified calculator
>Versus modern games, and somehow phones have caught up to modern consoles when they just barely scrape a stable 30fps in GTAIII
can you please explain that webm
>phones have limitations!
>older consoles didn't!
and get a better phone, or better yet learn to take care of it, I can run gamecube and psx games for hours without even going in the red.
>modern consoles
are you blind?
>older consoles
I thought my post made it obvious that it's the typical birth of these cancers actually defending bethshit
Congrats you can play low as fuck poly games that also destroy your battery. It doesn't change the fact that developers DON'T want to chug the user's battery, lower graphics because of it.
Did those consoles run on 3000mah batteries and have a heatsink the size of a pea?
It’s ok not a replacement for Skyrim but i could see myself getting into it inbetween classes over the next few weeks while I have nothing to do
fucking kek

im sorry my man but this gam is shite
Can confirm this is exactly what it's like. I signed up back at E3 so they gave me this "exclusive" helmet and sword for free that make the start of the game way easy. Basically the combat is repetitive and boring (at least so far). Everything has timers. Typical mobile game. On the bright side, the graphics look really good, the minimal UI is great, and unlike most graphics intensive mobile games, multitasking works fine with it. I'm hoping that the pvp will be good (it's not out yet). I find that it's a good dungeon crawly game that you can play even if you just have a very short amount of time. The fact that you can play in portrait mode with only one hand is super convenient.
>everything is shiny - so stupid retards wouldn't miss anything
>combat is just so shitty
>SPEND YOUR MONEY TO SPEED UP CHEST OPENING
Crikey, that's a big "nyet" from me. I can deal with shitty combat and golden shine - but timer on chest opening killed me.
You can’t talk shit about this game unless you got past level 15 in the abyss
>there hasn't been anything that made me go "aw yiss they put in X" or "hah this is just like when Y"
really? that would be a seller for you? how much easily impressed are you?
references are the absolute shit tier of anything.
I can already imagine these kids with snot coming out of their noses playing this shit on the bus stop and occasionally, wiping the snots with their arm.
Sounds homelike you know somthing from personal experience user
Sorry to wake you up user - but that's a big seller nowadays in game industry, film industry too. You just need to put something from past games/movies in your new game/movie to trigger nostalgia in people's mind - and there's 90% chance you already have thier money in your pocket.
making an effort to include the setting as part of the game is not a 'reference' you buffoon
Why aren't you playing openmw?
Well yes. Also one time when i broke my arm and had to stay in hospital with some kid and 3 guys older than me, the kid who had fractured bones in both arms was playing angry birds with his tongue on the tablet his mother was holding up right up to his fucking face. She was feeding him chips between levels also and it was just such a fucking sad sight.
Its a wait2grind game. Why the hell do people play that shit? It isn't about skill. It isn't interesting or deep. If you are that damn board just read a book.
That armor set looks dope. Way better than shit from Oblivion/Skyrim
How is the town building though? Can I construct things in different culture styles. Say for example be able to make my town a Vivec canton, or in Hlallu style like Balmora?
