valve could keep operating and make huge profit even if they made 10 times less money. They take 30% cuts when they only need a few % of that to actually operate Steam, this is why Epic can also get away and still make a profit with only taking 7% cuts for UE games.

Steam isn't going anywhere in your lifetime, and Epic will never even become a more popular store because once it actually starts to threaten Steam, Valve will finally stop being lazy, greedy fucks and starts developing shit, lowers cuts, etc. That's all I want, but you valve drones defend Valve for being an unproductive leech on the company like an overprotective mother defends his fat neet son.
