I don't drink anymore or smoke weed because I had a panic attack a few years ago while being high and I have anxiety problems ever since and barely leave my home if it's not for work

I used to get high literally every day for 10 years before it happened, but it was too intense and happened more while not being high, I was never good at handling too intense highs anyway
not like it's that bad though, I managed to lose a lot of weight working out and I absolutely quit weed, I'd say both of those things are actually positive, I just wish I'd feel better overall

Same, I definitely have to take a break from the dope pretty soon. Otherwise I will stay in a perpetual loop forever. It's the one thing that demotivates me, doesn't help that it's the way I make money either.

I play slow burning sim, management, or strategic games. Stuff like Rimworld or XCOM are great when your self control is inhibited, especially on ironman

my friends actually think I'm amazing for putting down weed just like that after a decade of being high, but it's literally out of fear for another panic attack, I actually would love to be able to get high and enjoy it again, I loved playing vydia while being high, making music with my friends, travel, etc
now the only thing I can do without medication is playing video games
the only reason I'd say you should smoke less or quit is the chance of getting some kind of mental problem like I did, I never really looked into it, but I've heard somewhere you have a higher chance of this shit if you started smoking weed at a young age, you should try and prevent it if you can, but that's just my advice, I'm a fucking mess my man

JRPGs because they don't require fine motor skills and grinding goes by really quickly. Only problem is getting lost and confused in dungeons and not remembering the story at all.

it was exactly the same for me, I was doing fine for days with the same amount my friends smoked during one night
not saying that to scare you or anything, but to say something positive too, either out of fear or simply because weed is not that physically addictive, it wasn't hard AT ALL to put it down, I never really missed it that much ever since, I mean sure, I would love to get high like I used to with my friends, but it doesn't feel like an addiction like cigarettes or anything, you can do it just fine, if you want to m8
