I like Paradox games.

Are you looking forward to Imperator? I haven't been paying attention and am afraid it will be 4 years and 20000¥ before it's a full game.

I like Day of Infamy for it's co-op. It's like FEAR 1's AI slapped into a WW2 multiplayer.

I hope to one day accomplish my dream of having a single campaign go from game to game and span 300BC to 2000AD

I didn't know it had a co-op mode against AI. Is it waves or like a regular battle?

I have been wanting to try a campaign like that, though from the Charlemagne start date. I'm not a fan of eu4 so it's always a drag once I get to it.

Their coop is wave based, every 5 minutes a new wave of infantry come at you. There's stronghold (attack a well defended AI base), entrenchment (wave based defense against AI horde), and typical search and destroy.

Fear is honestly one of my favorite games

wat, i've never noticed that ingame

What a great game. Even 2 was good. 3 took out the ability to kick open doors and flip tables. Never finished.

And the AI are well made? Attacking an AI base sounds fun.

The AI are pretty good, almost like playing real players (maybe even better). The only problem is that the fucking devs left the game early to go work on Insurgency Sandstorm on the Unreal 4 engine and left the game with only a few maps... the game itself should be worth at 5-10 bucks.

Ah, so like Hawken and Tribes Ascend. At least the servers are still up.

FEAR is just too spooky for me. I like the shooter bits but the tension of having to turn around a corner is just too much for me.

Well that's a shame, user. What are some games you like?

I'm playing Duke Bukem 3D at the moment and enjoy it very much. I already got Doom 1 and 2 and Shadow Warrior to play after that. I'll binge the entire 90's FPS line up.

>Even 2 was good.
what? it was really shitty

I'm afraid I've never played those old shooters but heard they excel because you're an active character unlike more modern cover shooters.

Was it? I thought it was alright. I did grumble a bit when the guns weren't as satisfying to use.

FLUSH HIM OUT

I wish so much of the game hadn't been scrapped.

I want to play this game. How spooky is it?

Not that spooky, it's mostly an action game. A great action game.

A few parts out me on edge but I personally say "Mild."
