Kuugas would generally be a better frame trap either way. The reasoni's really just to have another threat at that range, otherwise I feel most people can just get free GRD off me.

Definition wise, the only flash kick in the game belongs to Vatista, and she's the charge character with a fireball. Her normals don't swing as hard as Kagura though.
Stance-wise, Yuzuriha exists who similarly doesn't have too much "weight" behind her attacks. Plus her stance-dancing is a lot different from Kagura since you need to hold a lot for her.

Hey there amigos! Having trouble with Orie 6b? So did I! Till this tip changed my life, for only four easy payments of 19.99!

You gotta think like a pervert when fighting Orie, and by that I mean when that character is pressuring you and you're scared of 6b, you need to look really hard at her feet. 6B has no real tell on her upper body, but almost immediately with that move shes on one foot. She has no low options that look like this, so whenever you see her on one foot, just block high because it can only be 5c, 6b, or 3c. Seriously, go look at that shit in training mode and be amazed how fast that tell comes out.

That's funny because as soon as I stopped playing I went to training to look for a clue and that exactly what I found in 5 seconds of looking. And yeah, my succes rate went up to like 85%.

Yeah, I've learned more patience is really important in this game.

Your C buttons are slow but are extremely effective in keeping people in place. You should be using a combination of 2C and 236x in keeping people out of your face while any stray hit can be caught by 214A/B into knockdown and get you to apply oki pressure. Alternatively you can just 214C off stray hits into real damage.
It helps to see how she plays in action to get a grasp of what you should be doing so I'd suggest watching some pro matches. Imitating pros is never a bad thing since it should help build better habits. Look up Senaru

Make no mistake, sai. You've improved in these last few months than you did doing whatever it was you were doing before your regular appearances. You've got BnBs and you're not shying away from poking the shit out of our wake-up/pressure attempts with Linne's buttons. I think a couple more points in awareness, combo theory, and frame data is all you need to keep improving at a steady pace.

Gord FF with vorpal is absolutely nasty. Not jumping or assaulting against Gord is even more true than for Orie since he is antiair man with Mortal Slide and 2C.

Yeah very occasionally I see 0 bars with you before it flickers back to 2.

Gord's got a tougher time fighting Orie because she's got the means to close the gap really fast as well as contest with some long-range options with Thanatos. Kind of like what I do with my Hyde is to keep her away from reaching her effective range and that's a bit tougher for Gordeau since he's got to put out some bigger hurtboxes to keep her at bay to keep her away at a comfortable range. The usual affair of keeping people out with 5C/236A and checking their toes with 3C. Then up close using delayed 4B and 2Bs to catch them mashing, and usual the meaty 2C and jA set-ups as well as mixing command grabs in there make for a tough approach in conditioning your opponents to respect what Gordeau can potentially do. It's a lot tougher to do with Gord's limited buttons up close so I can easily see the issue since I fucked around with Gordeau too.
Problem is that atic tends to adapt fairly well and is worryingly patient in his defense so catching him out with some delayed attacks might not be so effective, same goes for trying to poke out of his pressure. At the very least Gord's got like 4 reversal options with some CS so breaking out of Orie's pressure might be easy, it's just opening up our OS droid over here that's really tough. I'm sure there's some matches that features Jasepi fighting some Ories though to take notes from.

You're really going to need to iron out said bad habits against atic though.

That's probably where I'm at, only I treat these lobbies as my training mode. Makes enough sense I suppose. Using training mode "wisely" is just something I'm a bit too lazy to do even though I'm sure it really helps.

I'm down to block all day so you need to start introducing some throw mix so I at least have to consider it and you force me to OS at leaat. The classic Yuzu assault j[c] 2a empty jump grab mixup is gonna get people until the game dies. There are other places too. Eve and Kure just played a set that got uploaded on the cyclops gaming channel, I plan on studying it and it's probably good reference for you too.
