silent hill 4 was probably the only scary game in the series, maybe because of the unkillable enemies.

It was the first silent hill game, or really horror game at all, that I ever played. I loved the shit out of it. The way the ghosts would twitch kept me up at night.

Damn the more i read this thread the more I look back and realize the 4th one really was the best one. That fucking subway opening level was too intense and the more you go back to your apartment the more fucked up and haunted it is. Really wanna replay it now.
