The truth is censorship can come from anywhere, even the internal biases of the sole creator of a piece of work. They might feel the censor their own work to more closely reflect their own values rather than what their kind of work expects them to produce.

Gotta have a more nuanced understanding if you're going to try to reach people in these discussions. The censorship people generally have a problem with is outside interference that changes the nature or intent of the original work in a clumsy or hastily way. I.E. god rays or lens flares. It makes people feel like they're receiving an inferior product because it's been tampered with. I generally don't like any of my products tampered with, especially on moral grounds because the only moral grounds I give a shit about are my own.

You seem historically uninformed as to why those legislation changes even happened in the first place while also failing to explain why unions attaching to the state is a failing of the system/is a bad thing. Your point seems to be that this is bad because they
