Touchpad is good and the light is used for specific games and used for STYLE. idc if they keep it for next console but the touchpad is legit good, just severely underutilized by most devs.

Not many people know this but the touchpad actually has 3 separate points you can click on to act as 3 different buttons. Additionally, you can use touchpad swipes to do stuff. Warframe is the only game I know of on the PS4 that lets you bind actions as touchpad swipes. Suddenly the DS4 has 7 extra buttons due to the touchpad.

Most devs, especially 3rd party ones, just use it as one single big button.

I mean, the biggest reason this is an obvious lie is that's not what real dev kits look like, and any dev kit would have the PS4 controller for obvious reasons.
