pretty good from what I've heard so far
if you liked RoR you're probably gonna like this even if it's a 3rd person shooter, it's feels so damn good and all the great parts of RoR transitioned really well to the 3rd dimension. movement, evasion, combat all have so much more depth to them now, and the levels are absolutely massive in both verticality and general size

just play the game normally, at some point on one of the later levels there's going to be a portal that pops up, if you enter it you'll spawn in a secret level with a jump puzzle leading to an obelisk. if you kill yourself in front of the obelisk the game will end but you'll unlock merc, you can do it in both mp and sp

This is super satisfying. I've been looking for a good horde shooter since KF2 and Payday 2 went to shit. The 3D plane adds so much to the game, and getting a ton of mobility from energy drinks and hopoo feathers feels great

Progress long enough to find a celestial portal that spawns (randomly?) after finishing a level. Go through that and finish the jumping puzzle to find the obelisk.

Most enemies are slow as fuck and either shoot slow projectiles or have heavily telegraphed attacks, you can get by fine without ever having to flick from target to target at all. On top of that you can either play huntress (all of her attacks are guided auto-aim ones) or merc (all melee attacks) to reduce aiming and wrist strain even more

what does that thing that takes lunar coins in the desert area do? "A blue orb appears" pops up, but idk where/what the orb is.

Yeah that'd be pretty sweet if done right. Maybe add +1% damage done per every +2% speed merc moves at over the starting speed? Make it so it's not just based off "calculated" item speed either, so that speed from boosting off terrain or jumping etc counts towards the swing damage % too. Would probably raise his skill ceiling by quite a bit

The teleporters really need an outline or something. In the Abyssal area and the swamp it's almost impossible to find it because it blends in with the black ground.

I just try to grab onhit stuff or abuse his grenades and having two equipment slots. I always try to grab the black hole and crit goggles, as well as heal on hit if you can. Its just a war of attrition as brobot.

No, they always spawn in solo, but they can spawn anywhere, I spent 30 minutes looking for one because that piece of shit spawned on the very edge of the map.

The difference between drizzle and normal are a lot greater than they were in RoR1.

ror2 drizzle is definitely easier than ror1 drizzle, but normal and monsoon will kick your shit in

He feels really clunky and flying enemies are a pain in the ass since they just slowly float towards you, I think if they fixed up his animations to be a lot smoother and more controllable he would be okay, but even then his damage is pretty bad.

I use a 660 and it runs fine, computer gets a bit loud when a shit ton of enemies show up
