i'm just glad i noticed in time and was able to save most of my stuff. the biggest losses were non-video game items like furnace, hot water heater, air conditioner, washer, dryer, and deep freeze.
i did also lose many keepsake items from when i was a kid including my old boyscout uniforms, photo albums, high school graduation stuff ect.
look up "Nebraska flooding" and look for march 2019 articles. 80% of the entire state was effected my basement had it's floor drains backup though i did have some intrusion from outside as i had several inches all around my foundation.
