Hearts of Stone or Blood and Wine, Yea Forums?
Hearts of Stone or Blood and Wine, Yea Forums?
Both.
Fucking both my dude
I meant which one is better, dumbass.
Both
Hearts of stone is 10/10, Blood and wine is good also, but not quit as good
the game is free on the fitgirl store
>fitgirl store
???
BnW is more like colourfull fable with dark ending
HoS is more like traditional dark fantasy
both are great and worht the money
Heart of stone for the story/writing
Blood and wine for the new setting
Both are 10/10
blood and wine is the best game of the last 50 years
Heart of Stone has a better story than the main game, Blood and Wine is as close as we'll get to The Witcher 3: Enhanced Edition
Everyone obviously agrees HoS has the better story and characters, while BaW has the content and epic scope. What needs to be pointed out though is that BaW has the best soundtrack of the entire game, even better than the base game.
i liked hearts of stone more desu
it was short and packed with good shit
literally no downtime playing it
blood and wine added a whole map that was empty at some parts.
>usually permadeath rpgs
>witcher is full of instadeath bullshit because any enemy with more levels than you is often a one shot
>a lot of missions have instadeath failure like the tree ghosts
god dammit, I started this game over twice from death and now I can't enjoy it, should have just ignored the deaths and played it normally but shit it's ruined for me now. replaying the parts you already did is no fun, low replayability game
>yfw seeing Arachnomorphs for the first time
I'm not one for video game comedy but I must admit the goofy knights got me
>tfw no Geralt daddy
Play HoS if you want a concise story that is arguably the best in the entire series, and play B&W for sheer value and content
Hearts of Stone was the overall better package but Blood and Wine is almost as good. The latter just feels lack luster due to lackluster gay autism vampire plot. Exploring the new zone and having as close to finite conclusion as possible to Geralt's game story is pretty fuckin neato.
OwO
Finished Hearts of Stone today. I don't know what to say except that it was absolute kino, I had obviously heard a lot about the DLCs but for it to be this good all the way, damn, i am blown away. I have no words for it.
Will start Blood and Wine next but i'm starting to be afraid of being done with everything, what will i play next? I have a feeling CP2077 will not be as great for some reason. Hope i'm wrong.
What's Yea Forums's opinion on Thronebreaker? It's my only hope after i'm all done.
Hearts of stone is the game of the gen. No contest
And its just a dlc
I really loved the subplot in BaW about the cursed woman with all the spoons, that was actually really well done.
it was so sweet seeing the contrast between poor shitty redania and rich lush toussaint
the silly part about that scene was how the knights did not fit in whatsoever, but they were normal in toussaint
I would say both are good, but blood and wine definitely wins out with all of its content.
I didn't get too far into it, maybe an hour. They changed Gwent to the point where it is no longer fun.
Both
Are there any real Gwent trading cards?
>thronebreaker
shit/10 never played it.
Bersonal Resgonsibilidy :DDDD 2077 will be make be succesful due to the Witcher games no matter what, but will also decide with CDPR can pull off another Action RPG with different gameplay mechanics. Also I'd the Witcher was less obscure than CP even back in 2007 when the first game launched.
Blood and Wine focuses on the bad parts of Witcher 3: Open world, boring quest and question marks. That said, Blood and Wine is better at this stuff than the base game, but you'd be all worn out on that part of this game at the point you play the DLC. Basically I find it's what Witcher 3 should have been, and it even has a story that is possible to care about even if it's a bit cartoony. Way better than space death wizards anyway.
Hearts of Stone has a pretty good story and that's what Witcher 3 does well. Just about the whole expansion is about this new quest, and it's better for it.
Slightly off-topic, but I have an issue with my game where after modding and merging it I somehow managed to fuck up the scripts so badly even a fresh install won't remove the erroneous lines. Any help?
The Witcher 3 has a horrible main quest compared to the other games/DLC
have you cleared documents directory?
What a shame. I was so interested in seeing another kingdom, albeit we can't really explore it freely. I'll still give it a try, probably.
Blood and Wine.
Never played Hearts of Stone, but I can't be fucked to pay for it.
Guess I haven't. I'll give that a try and see if it works. Thanks for the advice
HoS hands down, it was nothing but pvre lvdo.
Both are bretty gud.
Though blood and wine is very good, Hearts of Stone is better. Really fucking good quality, 10/10. I felt like watching extremely good TV show by playing it for the first time, couldnt wait to start another quest and another dialogue/cutscene. Extremely good writing.
There were a couple really fucking great quests in BaW. The old lady with the spoons, ghost hunting with talking Roach, helping that lady cursed by birds (namely the free-for-all battle tourney), and some others were fucking beautiful. The story was strong and weak points, but that part at the end when the city is overrun with vampires and when you ravage all those bandits with Detlaff and Regis... max kino.
10/10 expac overall.
