I feel the exact opposite. My enjoyment peaked in in Uraya with that hilarious comedy routine at the end after how fun the rest of the titan was. Then the only thing I even enjoyed half as much throughout the rest of the game was Rosa. Elpys was straight up garbage, I can't think of a worse section in any Xenoblade game than chapter 7. Morytha was alright, World Tree was straight shit, and the ending was good, but not worth everything before it.
I say that as someone who loved 1 and X so much that I bought 2 the moment it came out, along with all the DLC, on the e-shop so I could play it as soon as possible. 2 was just a disappointment for me.

The first half of the game is meh overall. The story goes from being good to mediocre to okay to shit and then to good again, and the combat drags its feet for the first few chapters and then finally gets good (but only if you've paid attention to the tutorials and gotten a few optional skills, otherwise it's shit!)
The second half is pretty great all around, or at least it was for me. Some people didn't seem to enjoy it at all.
It's a game I loved, but it makes you put up with a whole lot of dumb shit and I feel like you need to have a high tolerance for anime bullshit to really enjoy it.

Yes, I am. You want to talk about 'emergent storytelling' and stuff like that in games? I had that very moment of realization in game after I had to refill my Sno-Bake Cheesecake stores to maximum capacity a couple of times. It wouldbe great to include Theory somehow, but she doesn't seem the feeder type, unless I could think of a fitting justification for her. I'd let real life write this plot: Driver needs her affection boosted up to make her nice and strong, and isn't about to slog through the wastes for that, thus the cheesecake, as he knows its her favourite, and Praxis is just too adoring of it to reject the onslaught of dessert. I have probed some Xenoblade WG stuff unrelated to Praxis before, there's lots of potential here.

I've yet to really consider much in the realm of Xenoblade WG unfortunately, though with the amount of characters and possibilities the game's universe provides, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to come up with things. Your driver-driven feeding is a great idea. Could run with similar plots for other blades, too. Pyra being exceptional at cooking practically writes itself, especially if she took to testing her meals before letting everyone else try. Maybe Zenobia's love of meat and desire to fight battles leads her to want to bulk up, but it backfires? Not really sure, I'm just throwing ideas out there.

I commissioned a fairly popular WG writer (Borin) with a scenario I came up with for XB2. Rex is doing more or less what I mentioned with Praxis, only with Pyra, but since she shares a body with Mythra, she ends up growing fat too. So you have both a willing gainer and an unwilling one in the same person, and yes, Pyra becomes so consumed by her hunger that she eventually eats her own cooking that was meant for the party. The Zenobia one sounds like a good idea, could become a strongfat thing which I'm a fan of too. Sheba's endless decadence in her tea parties could become nests of gaining weight for her and all her guests due to her constantly stepping up her game to impress all.

Strongfat Zenobia would be fun to have happen, as would a decadent Sheba who eventually fills up her tub after one too many tea parties. And with fellow guests gaining with her, that'd definitely be an ideal scenario. I've still yet to complete some of the sidequests and get a few of the other blades so I'm not sure how some could work. I feel like Kasandra's bad luck could be used to make something happen as well, though you could take that in several directions whether it influences her or someone else.

You know it. That latest one with Morag and Brigid wasn't me though. I would've reversed the roles, make Morag the one feeding Brigid constantly. Not to downplay the fun in feeding a military commander to the point where she can't even run the recruit obstacle course without collapsing with the dire craving for a cheeseburger, but Brigid has her diary, which has lots of really unique implications for her, ways for Morag to torment her with it. Even when Brigid moves on to another Driver, her obesity will always remain as a testament to how much control Morag had over her, chronicled in excruciating detail in her diary.

Actually haven't read the new one, I had missed that somehow. Morag and Brigid are underutilized though so I'm happy to see a story involving them, even if only one gains. Your idea is fantastic though, especially if the blade doesn't stay obese after going back into their core. Imagine a future Brigid's shock as she comes across her diary entries detailing her fall to gluttony. Even better if they lead an incarnation of her to push herself to become even fatter than before, until it becomes part of her goal each time she's awakened.

I'm very surprised at how little attention Brigid seems to get, it's saddening. But as for the future Brigid, when she reads her diary of how her very Driver facilitated her consumption by gluttony, her expression would get ever darker, wondering how that could possibly be herself. The more she reads though, the more ravenous her stomach gets until she's cursing it. Such a dramatic event in her past life left an imprint of sorts deep in her subconsciousness, and its impossible to truly shake, there's only bearing with it, or going with the flow to feel sated.

Good idea with future Brigid. She might even try to hold herself back through sheer will, but find herself sneaking food behind the back of the rest of the Ardanian Empire, so as to maintain appearances as stern and hard to break blade, even though her body would grow soft. That idea aside, it's just a shame there isn't more material from Xenoblade in general, especially that doesn't consist of Pyra. You would think Brigid would have been a popular choice but alas. I'd totally write or draw some of this if I were better at putting my ideas to paper, not that I'm too shabby at either, especially writing. As much as she might convince herself it's just the bare minimum to keep the feelings of starving away, she's hit with the problem that the minimum is still exorbitant compared to any normal person. And thus, she continues to get poochy and soft until the sight of her wobbly potbelly becomes completely overt. I'd say don't worry too much about how much material there is yet for Xenoblade, 2 was the biggest seller Monolith has ever had, and the series is still growing into the popularity. With so many amazing girls, I think Brigid just suffered from the steep competition and got overshadowed. I end up having a tough time writing my ideas out as well, for as many fun ones I have that I brainstorm out by myself and with a couple friends. If you wish there were more, make that the motivation to get better at transcribing your ideas to paper.

Very true, the series is only growing in popularity so I'm sure there will be more to come in the future and with future games.
