when I play this the audio is fucked, all the voice lines and sound clips that play during the game (such as swords hitting, and building noises) are all extremely loud.

I've tried muting the game but I still hear the noises, the blacksmith is like a bell ringing in my ear. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it

I remember playing this around 2003. My now deceased dad got me my first computer (his old one) and burned copies of his favorite games.
Played this like as long as I was allowed to. I remember beating the rat, the pig, the snake and the wolve, building barricades and farms. Back then even a game as simple as stronghold could enchant me and life was without any worry. The soundtrack brings this memory back like it was yesterday
