Yeah, as time goes by, I can tell why Nintendo hasn't jumped in on the gun yet. I've seen a lot of Flipnote animations and what not pretending to make a anime out of it, but in the end, if you replaced all the Mario cast with any other, you wouldn't tell a difference just because of the anime influence in it. I've always seen Mario in a more cartoon-y and slapstick fashion, not all these serious plots that look like they were ripped off from a show.
