It's better compared to the competitors and also proved it by not flopping.
Many seeeeeth at different aspects of the game and act like contrarians on purpose but none can deny its greatness. This game is the definition of:

Kiss my sister?
Fantastic game. Though there are a lot of SEETHERS that couldn't beat it on tactician.
Wait for it user, the minmaxer will soon arrive.
Really fun gameplay really really really terrible writing. Wish I felt compelled to finish it but I just couldn't care about the story enough to keep going after I got to the point of the gameplay becoming stale
THE min/maxer?
The armors mechanic ruins the game pretty hard.
>there’s several things I personally dislike about the game such as all the fucking dialogue, all the missable content, the complexity and counter-intuitivity of some builds

mah niggah
Yes.
honestly, an improvement over most 90s isometric rpgs. none of that gay real time with pause shit
Neither.
Not casualized, and not really a modernization, but overly long and too 'eccentric' as only a central European fantasy adaptation can be.
>that armor system
it's total shit
anyone complaining about the armor system: git gud
Anyone see this yet?

It's really, really great. Most fun I had playing a cRPG in a long time.
>Real time with pauses is ba-
yes
Yes, RTwP is undeniably shit.

There's nothing casual about Tactician mode, if anything they went a little overboard on some encounters to the point it's a little silly how many fuckers pop out of the woodwork
At least it's not like the first game where literally every single tactician encounter has multiple archers equipped with AOE damage and CC special arrows so you need to use summons to tank the first few rounds of combat to avoid being raped
The only WRPG with a good combat system
No idea how anyone can find this game hard to get into.
For example, Divinity way easier than things like Pillars of Eternity. That was a game were I got my ass kicked.
Weirdly enough, Neverwinter Nights was a comfy and challenging game.
Wrong.
How do I make a Summoner a bit more exciting for the times the Incarnate is already up?
>Many seeeeeth at different aspects of the game
To be fair, this was a thing with the revered classics as well.
