Risk of Rain was incredibly popular and was a 2d side scroller. This is it in 3d 3rd person. It's fun user and you can co-op with your friends. I can't fucking wait until it's fully released, just seeing the facelift coming from 2d on enemies and bosses you recognize is sweet, and it actually plays really well. Additionally for $20 you get two copies of the game and I have like six friends who will play this with me

GTX 960 is my GPU so admittedly a higher end one. I'll try later to test it out on a system with integrated graphics near me. I can run it on ultra fairly well. Looking at the graphics settings, you can lower a variety of settings to make it run faster.

Unlike , I'll actually fill you in on how it runs for me while providing specs. A while ago I went full retard and bought a gaming laptop (MSI GS65). It has integrated graphics built in as well as a GTX 1060. However, the GTX 1060 only kicks in if it's set to the preferred graphics processor in NVIDIA control panel or it's plugged in. Otherwise, it uses the built-in integrated graphics card. So rest assured, it is running on a Intel UHD Graphics 630. If I turn literally everything down to the lowest possible setting, the game runs at a steady 80 FPS. Keep in mind, your performance will decrease when you have a long run. I have not tested this yet. After I did this, I also tried turning up the settings. By turning shadows back to soft (they are still set to low), turning up the texture resolution as well as the VFX culling bias and LOD Bias, the game goes down to ~60 FPS. Note, I still have corpses turned off. However, the game still looks relatively good. It seems to be well optimized and I believe it should run well for most people.

Roguelite though levels are seemingly less randomly generated than RoR1, you can complete challenges and secrets that unlock items and characters. Game encourages going fast as the longer the run goes on the harder it gets

Surprisingly haven't had issues yet with multiplayer. I've played a few games with pals already.

Roguelite. Essentially enemies progressively get harder as the clock ticks by and you have to make your way through every level and gather every item you can. These items give your characters new benefits and abilities. The passive items (the majority of items) stack resulting in this fun power fantasy where you can eventually crash the game because of how strong you get. Now Risk of Rain 2 modifies the formula a bit by adding some new mechanics in the mix (lunar tokens, shop, etc.) but it's relatively the same game. It runs much better than the first and is just a solid experience in general.

You get a free second copy of the game if you buy it. Because Risky Rain is better played with frens.

Note that comparing your card with his integrated graphics card, it looks like it's still more powerful than yours just by a tad bit unless I can't read charts well. Can't verify how it will run for you but you'd have to really turn down settings to get it running reasonably well at the beginning of a run, let alone later in a run.

They really should put a dash or something between the numbers. It's not the thousand eightieth tier of a card- It's the tenth, 8th tier- High end. So, 7th 3rd tier is low end, 5th 8th tier is high end (for the time).

the online uses steamworks, no port forwarding or ip shenanigans since steam takes care of that for you
you make a lobby, then copypaste lobby ID to somewhere, make sure the other players copy the ID to clipboard, then they can play with you.
