How much more powerful with the Switch "Pro" be?

This post is gonna be archived in 10 minutes faggot just drop the fake beans

Why the fuck did you make this thread, you dumbass? Do you think anyone will believe you?

Fuck off retard

What're the names of the revisions?

fake and gay

fuck off faggot

It produces graphics similar to that of the base PS4. Though I'm told the actual hardware is still around the level of the base Xbox One, they use some Nvidia solutions to help bridge the gap.

If I don’t have information about the topic you’ve asked or you’ve asked a question that has already been answered, I will not reply.

He hasn't replied to anyone cause he literally has nothing LMAO

what is the approximate price range of both models?

You faggot just read that off Eurogamer's article on it, give some """""info""""" that we haven't already heard.

Will the cheaper portable model be able to use the dock?

did they fix the d-pad on either version?

The price of the cheaper model is going to be priced from $175 - $200 usd.

The price of the more expensive model is looking to be from $350-400.

Pricing is still being finalized.

what about actual models, isn't the price rance already around 400?

Yes. Though the dock will be a separate purchase, they are not including one to cut costs down.

How many fards doesnit take before you need to shid?

What is with the influx of namefaggery lately? Normally it's a couple dumb fucks but I'm seeing all kind of new names.

The price of the current Switch is $300 usd. The current model is set to receive a $50 price drop to $250 this year.

Switch standard was estimated to cost about $200 itself to make, how the fuck would they turn a profit.

Selling the pro at $400 is DOA

The cheaper switch includes a standard d-pad, as Joycons do not detach from the system itself.

Will there be separate games for the pro and the other versions

Will this one suck less nuts
Very related will this one have achievements

Yes, Capcom is bringing Resident Evil 2 Remake to the more expensive model only.

Nintendo plans to support their games across all models however.

Third parties will be the ones making hardware exclusives.

Will existing games get large performance boosts from the "Pro" version?

Are any Switch Pro exclusives being planned?

Regarding the downgrade and upgrade variants (handheld only and a beefed up Switch), what is the reasoning for having two versions, exactly?
By that I mean is the beefed version going to have exclusive games because it's a stronger Switch, or is it just stronger and something people without a Switch would want to get?

Are there any Switch "Pro" features you haven't discussed yet? What all has been removed from the Switch "Lite"?

Can we seriously not have a console last 6 or so years anymore? The Switch came out in 2017.

What gpu architecture is it and what is it clocked at?

Yes, games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will now utilize 4 player splitscreen at 60fps.

I've been told Panic Button is updating their games to utilize the new hardware.

Nintendo is not going to make a more powerful switch to compete with other consoles.
A cheaper switch without the joycons makes perfect sense and it's definitely what Nintendo is planning.
A more powerful switch is just going to divide the market and make it a lot harder for developers to make their games. If there's a stronger version of the switch coming, it'll just have a bigger screen, a bigger battery or just a better clock speed, nothing major.

Oh look it's the "pro"/"lite" circlejerk again.

Will the Joy-Cons be given any revisions for the Switch Pro? Similarly, are accessories for the normal Switch going to be compatible with Switch Pro?

The cheaper model is being marketed primarily as a 2DS replacement, and a sturdier model for children.

The more expensive model is something that people who wish for more third party support or enhanced visuals to buy. It is more powerful, and you'll see improvements on Nintendo games, but no exclusivity on Nintendo's games.

All existing hardware works on the more expensive model of the Switch.

There are not any Joycon revisions planned.

>A cheaper switch without the joycons makes perfect sense
Ehhhh not really, joycons are the central theme of the whole console and removing them doesn't make a lot of sense. Spot-on about any Switch revisions being minor though, I don't think they can actually change much of the hardware without getting prohibitively expensive (manufacturing cost of Switch is already ~$250 per-unit leaving a $50 overhead), or defeating the whole point of the thing to satisfy some niche autists that don't want a Switch to be a Switch.

What are your sources? Where does this info come from?

Is the "Pro" going to be portable? How portable if so?

The more expensive Switch model will support HDR.

The cheaper model loses the ability to attach and detach controllers, they are always attached to the system. It also has a smaller screen at 5 inches.

How's your day going, user? I know no one's asked you, so I thought I would.

The more expensive model retains the same portability and almost identical dimensions of the current Switch.

You said the budget model has an actual dpad, what about the enhanced model? Were there any changes to the joycon? Is the overall physical design of the system different (i.e. reduced bezels, enhanced kickstand, joycon changes, etc.)

Also why did reddit ban you?

>Buying the same console multiple times
>c-console is cheaper I swear
The absolute state of console gaming

Sleep deprived, but not bad. Thanks for asking.

I do agree that the joycons are pretty important, yea. But the Switch's size is directly tied to the joycons, so making a smaller Switch would either require them to make a new line of smaller joycons (terrible idea considering they are already tiny) or just put them on the system itself.

And yea, It's not as much as making the console more expensive, but you already have a huge market of people who already bought a Switch very recently and then you put out a version that completely outranks it. Seems like a terrible idea considering you'll have no market for your more powerful "Switch Pro" games. The argument of just putting "better" versions of the games also sounds silly. It's just a lot more work for the devs.

>5 inches
Fuck that's small. What's the resolution?
How much is the battery life on the smaller model?
Does it support bluetooth audio at least?

Real VR support?

The more expensive model keeps standard Joycons and compatibility. I'm unaware of any changes being made to the Joycon.

The bezels are reduced, making the screen larger in turn. The kickstand is larger.

Why would a leaker talk so formally?

Does the Switch Pro have any more standard storage than the regular Switch?

Is the design of the Pro the same as the current Switch?

Resolution still stands at 720p for the cheaper model.

Battery life of the cheaper model is around 5 hours.

Why do you bother to go on the internet and tell lies?

The more expensive model has 128 GB of internal storage.

Similar, but not the same.

>128 gb
>around ps4 in terms of power
>same portability as the original NS

It's going to be priced around 500 with such specs which is much more than any of the later nintendo consoles.
I call bullshit.

But if this is true, instant buy for me.

Will they finally release VC with the new versions?

Any eta on it?

>The price of the cheaper model is going to be priced from $175 - $200 usd.
I'd buy one for $175. $150 would've been better, but oh well.

What's the resolution for portable mode on the pro model? And what resolutions will docked mode support for the pro model?

legitimate question as a switch owner: why does the switch attract this cancerous culture of lies, rumors and "leaks," and why is reddit nearly always involved somehow?

OP is just parroting Washington journal rumor report and has literally no way to prove he has insider info, suck my dick you fucking nigger

Both models are set to release in summer.

Wtf?
Then why bother with the OG Switch at this point

>It produces graphics similar to that of the base PS4.

lol

The more expensive version still uses a 720p panel.

>steam

Nintendo fanboys went from being cool bros during the Wii U era to absolute cancer after Switch launch.

I really want to get with switch but i'd rather stick with my 3ds

Success breeds jealousy lol

So what's the incentive to buy the pro edition if you already own a switch? Because it kinda just sounds like a new 3ds situation where upgrading isn't worth it.

How much

>I have information about the upcoming switch revisions
no you don't now leave or stop this low q larping miserable tripfag piece of shit.

1. What kind of improvements will the Pro model make to old games?

2. What will the big improvements be to the new Pokemon game when playing on the Pro model?

more like success brings normies

What specs are so vastly superior that would warrant such a big price difference even though it only has a 720p display?

Is any of the 3DS models going to receive a price cut too?

post a pic or shut the fuck up

What about the sticks, dipshit? How will a shorter, less wide Switch fit into the dock with protruding thumbsticks in the way?
