I really don't get the appeal to PL, if you're on BLU: You're a sitting duck that fucks around a cart for 10 minutes while dying to sentries, heavies and soldiers. Being on RED is just boring in PL.
PLR is just shit, neither teams do the objective 90% of the time so the match devolves into a team deathmatch.
Attack/Defend is way more tense and fun than PL and PLR.

I always had asymmetrical gamemodes like A/D and PL because so many of them are just spammy chokepoint fests. I think KOTH is the best in that regard because both teams are on even footing most of the time.
