She killed millions.
She killed millions
Literally.
And the story just looks the other way after a certain point.
so did palutena during her sorcerer of chaos bit
This game writting is so weird.
>everyone killed million of humans including pit, viridi and palutena
>haha lol quirky randumb humour loooooooooooooooooool
Can goddesses get pregnant? I need to know.
Part of it really is the Treehouse localization, the Japanese original can also be quirky it's not to the point where it murders the tone of the game.
That's kind of the point I thought. Humans have it rough and Palutena is just goofing off even though she's supposed to be in charge of them.
user, the Japanese actually prefer the Treehouse localization because the Japanese original had virtually none of the humor. It was as generic as it gets.
They're gods. Or rather more importantly, Greek Gods. I'm sure everyone is an asshole (except Pit) but we simply didn't get to see that side yet.
We're not ever getting another game are we? Post your biggest unanswered questions that will never get resolution
>who was magnus and why was he so strong?
Viridi is perfect.
People past the anime fansub age have developed an unprecedented hatred for localization.
They watched some subbed anime, as a result they learned 3 words in Japanese (neko, sugoi, kawaii), which is enough for them to be self-assessed N3 and to declare that they speak Japanese.
Now if they notice using their non-existent Japanese knowledge, that something is not a 1:1 mirror translation, it automatically means the localisers have violated ancient bushido codes, and insulted Japanese culture on a fundamental level, and should commit sudoku immediately.
Just ignore these morons.
S, source?
This
Greek gods flipped floped between genocideing and being chumy all the time
>Japanese original had virtually none of the humor
Not true. The Japanese version was filled with humor, but not a lot of it translates well into English.
Wwwwweeeeelllllll Zeus proved the INVERSE is possible ssooooooo
>the INVERSE is possible
Oh no.
>viridi will never unbirth you
To save the world :)
I really wanted to delve deeper into Magnus’ story. Seriously he and Pit defeat “Dark Lord Gaol”, only for “him” to to actually be a human girl that Magnus has a connection with. The only time you see the two of them together again was during Dyntos’ (I believe his name was) three trials. And surprisingly enough even after being freed from her mind control, Gaol apparently still has access to her dark magic, which just raises more questions.
Aww come on guys, i just meant Zeus got human wemon pregnant
Damn it now i got a boner
It's not that it looks the other way, it's just that more and more pressing shit keeps popping up
>Defeat Viridi's commanders and destroy her capacity for mass murder
>The Aurum invade, forcing all three armies to work together to repel the threat
>The escaped Chaos Kin seals Pit's soul in a ring for three years, controls Palutena and has her army, including Pit's body, rampage around the world
>Presumably the Underworld Army is still rampaging too, but also fighting the Forces of Nature
>Pit gets his body back, works his ass off to save Palutena and kill the Chaos Kin
>Gets critically injured in the process, Dark Pit has to heal him
>Tries to kill Hades, fails, Dark Pit has to save him again
>Proves his worth to Dyntos and receives the Great Sacred Treasure
>Kills Hades with it
THEN does the alliance between Palutena's Army and the Forces of Nature dissolve, and Viridi goes back to her original intent of purging humanity, so Pit will need to oppose her.
In one of these KI:U threads a while ago, people were comparing the translation between the english and the japanese version, and we saw that the japanese version were rather dry. I think someone who frequent 2ch or something had said the nips had actually liked the english version more since it's more over-the-top. I honestly don't remember more than that.
>we will never learn more about what the fuck that was about
Still makes me fucking livid all these years later.
So it's accurate to Greek mythology, got it
>it’s been seven years since KI:U first released
What the FUCK
I want to be pregnant with Viridi's child
I like it
The only times you see this kind of detachment is when you're playing as humans and the Gods are the bad guys or
It's nice to experience things from the angle of the divine realm, where they have their own going ons thats more important humans, and even the nicest faction still doesn't view the killing of entire armies and towns as more than a misdemeanor or a job to take care of.
Only 18 more years till the next one!
and not a peep about any kind of continuation
Read Gaol's idols, nitwit
>A general of the Underworld Army who leads thousands of infernal troops on a violent crusade against the surface world. Gaol's armor emits cursed magical energy that gives the dark lord the ability to float in midair and fire magic missiles.
>Brave Gaol had once been a spy for the surface world, tasked with assessing the strength of theUnderworld Army. Sadly, she was captured and forced to don the cursed armor of a dark lord, making her little more than a slave to evil.
>Years ago,Magnusand Gaol were friendly rivals, often working together as mercenaries, each competing to steal the other's glory.Dyntosgives them a chance to fight together again, testingPiton his way to battleHades.
So she was a merc who did some espionage work, got captured and forced into the cursed armor, became one of Medusa's commanders, and Magnus sought to free her.
