Are Slant magazine right about Sekiro?
Are Slant magazine right about Sekiro?
Nope, they just got filtered hard.
From what I've watched, probably. Seems every boss has 10 health bars and you only do a tiny sliver of it at a time.
This is the face of the """journalist""" in question.
>literal queer feminist zine that shouldn't even be reviewing games
They're not right about anything.
at least non-gaming newspapers and magazines in my country just copy paste some shit from the internet and don't even give votes
I can smell the soi from here
Slant is never wrong.
The legendary soichad
If From games are so difficult then why are people doing no-hit speedruns?
Weird, all i can smell frome here is piss and dried cum.
Yeah. None of the boss fights are actually innovative or anything, its just like 'lol i have three healthbars and a couple of attacks with goofy-ass hitboxes'.
if being a rocket surgeon is so hard how come there are people working as it
You obviously don’t know how the game works.
Because there's a learning curve involved in things. Difficulty isn't a given because some people aren't retarded.
I disagree. Most of them are pretty distinct
I kind of half hearted agree. Mostly I blocked, punishing when it was obvious. In souls games prior, they had that GREEDY element. You could just GREED MURDER and be incredibly offensive. In this game, you are definitely encouraged to be defensive during bossfights, while offensive during mookfights. The defensive bossfights are rote memorization of shit, which is par the course for every other bossfight in any other video game ever.
That said, the stealth aspect is good. Bit fucking easy if you get ANY bonuses to stealth through skill levels.
I'm left somewhere in the middle. It's fine.
If you're good enough to go full-tilt aggressive against bosses, you will have much more success against them.

>Right
When has slant been right about literally anything
indeed, much like dark souls 3
I think I’ve see this name and the colour red 1 too many times. What’s their damage?
>can't get your name out of the sea of reviewers because you're not interesting.
>Well it's easy, let's shit on everything so we give the illusion we're more serious.
Get your eyes checked user
>game isn't snoy exclusive
>better give it a bad review
typical slantcucks
I mean I agree but just in the sense from fucked the game into a block/deflect waiting game against most bosses and those that aren't are easy gimmick fights or shitty beast enemies with 1-2 fucked tracking/hitbox moves to create this idea its your fault at first just because "lol there is a way to avoid it"
If you avoid something visually especially in a single player game that should be the end of it. Shockwaves and tracking being crazy are retarded and the only games that can reasonably have somewhat different from they look hitboxes are fighting games and even so hitboxes are usually worse then they look and not bigger in those games.
>waiting game
If you're not deflecting you should be attacking. No wonder you scrubs don't like it
He looks like he’d complain Yoshi’s Island is too hard
This magazine is being paid by Capcom I'm sure of that
One copy of Onions Light please.
Yikes, trying to satisfy "gamer's" thirst for difficulty, might as well have you play as a Nazi killing LGBT women of color too.
he likes nuGoW
based and onionpilled
I've not played the game yet but from what i understand the combat is built around parrying attacks
which is achieved by pressed the block button at the right time
so what im imagining is even if you fuck up a parry and press it too early then you'll still block and have a chance, plus mikiri counters, plus combat arts (for breaking posture)
It SEEMS a lot easier than people let on but I'll have to play it for myself to confirm
has slant magazine ever given a positive review to a game?
The difficulty comes from the split second you're given to identify each attack coming at you and dodge/deflect/counter/jump appropriately. If you defend too much your posture breaks and leaves you open for an instant ko. You do shit damage so you need to break through the enemy's defense, which is constantly regenerating. It's fairly punishing desu
If you press it too early you don't take damage (in the normal game) but you will take posture damage.
Fuck up too many times and you'll get posture broken which will often lead in getting decimated
Also there's a few attacks that can't be parried like grabs and sweeps so you gotta keep on your toes
>This game caters to and satisfies a core mechanic of its audience, and that's a bad thing!
Whatever happened to critiscizing someone based on their words, and not on their looks?
"Someone doesnt like Sekiro on Yea Forums? Should I try to say why I like it in a respectful manner? NO, lets make fun of them while beating a dead horse because lol funi filterr xd"
Nothing Slant has ever said has been right.
It's a bunch of hyper-pretentious hipsters constantly wiggling around their heads inside each others asses.
yeah, they just LOVE sony.
