Why did it lose popularity?
Why did it lose popularity?
The fandom.
Because its like 4 years old nigger. Everyone has moved on.
It was flavor of the month.
Because the game game out almost 4 years ago and was a flavor of the month that went past it's expiration date.
because the asshole that made it was too fucking slow. no updates no dlc no hard mode no nothing all that time during its peak popularity
Because the fandom died down over time and most of the peeps moved over to Deltarune.
overexposure inflamed by a shitty fandom that refused to go away
No one moved onto Deltarune.
Toby gave it away FOR FREE and still no one is talking about it.
Episodic games are cancer
It was insanely popular for being only a 3-5 hour game, but y'know. Furfags ruin everything they touch.
It's not episodic.
It's the first chapter, the full game will be released altogether.
Don't worry. It'll get a second wind once Sans is announced for Smash to shill the Switch exclusive release of Deltarune.
Not enough fat goat tits.
spbp
The time has come to not continue
Because it was forced to begin with.
because its been almost 4 years and theres nothing else to talk about. Its not like dark souls where you can play it over and over with different builds or something like that. once you get all the endings theres no real reason to go back to it.
Its still GOAT
What do you mean? Plenty of people were hyped over deltarune.
Because it’s a shit game that went viral because of memes. Now everybody has moved on to the next flavor of the month game.
Indie games are a fickle beast. People support them because "the small devs deserve it!" and stay in a vicious circle of jumping towards the next trendy "underrated" game once the game they supported hits the big time, which is currently Hollow Knight. Who knows what follows.
It's called a demo nigga
Fandom, and because of it, you are only allowed to meantion it behind 7 layers of shitty ironic memes.
It was one of the best selling games on Switch despite being four years old. If anything it's undergoing a resurgence
>One of the best selling
Lol. Stardew Valley has been out significantly longer and still regularly cracks the top ten in the eshop charts. Undertale hasn't charted at all since it went on sale, and Deltarune never did.
>and still no one is talking about it
Yeah, I guess that's why there were a lot of threads about it when it was released.
because its a 4 year old single player linear story rpg you dumbass
>Hurr it was being spammed on Yea Forums that makes it popular!
I see people shilling Assassin's Creed all the time. Doesn't make it popular, and it certainly doesn't make it good.
I see Final Fantasy IX threads all the time.
It’s fucking songleplayer
>N-no one buys single player games
Where have I heard this before...?
What's your point? This wasn't a discussion about it being good/bad.
You missed the point pretty hard too.
>shilling Assassin's Creed all the time
> Doesn't make it popular,
>Assassin's creed
>Not popular
i see people talking about it alot in japan
Because time has passed on. Are you retarded? That happens to every game, especially short single-player games that don't get DLC or added content to keep them thriving.
