I have 2k hrs on PC. It's because you aren't playing the right way. There isn't a rank system, so you will have people who play a certain way, getting grouped with new people or casuals that haven't truly grasped the games doctrine of how to be played. It's the little things. Just keep playing and try to learn something from each game.There are times when people just kick people for their friends. Sometimes people are just trying to be funny or random. It sucks but if you stick it through, one day you'll notice you won't be getting kicked anymore, but instead you'll he the one kicking, and you'll understand why

Just be sure to hit her head for most shots

they ended up miles away from each other across the country, Francis on an island and Rochelle either in military containment or shot dead, if you take what happened in The Sacrifice comic as an indicator

Aiming for the head is a bad advice, you just need to have every pellets hit her, the easiest area to aim for is her back.
That said shotguns aren't an exact science and you are still bound to have a pellet do a 90 degree flip and miss.

The with has ~1000 hp, with a regular pump or chrome shotgun, you need to make sure every single pellet hits her in order to kill her. You need to get close and make sure your crosshair is filled by her body pretty much. Take your time if you need to, but you need to make sure you are close enough so that every pellet hits her killing her. There are maps and tutorials for practicing it.

It didn't take me that long. The learning curve on this game is short, depending on how much effort you put into learning it. Watch videos. Learn the infected strengths and weaknesses. Learn the maps, attack points, spawn blocks, clearing, priority of attack, etc. The game is a lot more complex than most people know or that the game puts out for face value, but if you learn these tricks, it gives you an advantage over your adversaries.

It's easier with auto because you can spam it if you miss. I've only done it once or twice with pump shotguns. Just get as close as you can and drill her.

I had to split them, the girls are just objectively worse as characters than the guys by a large margin.
Valve apparently can't write good girls to save their lives, just make good looking ones like true nerds.
Rochelle was a bit better as a character, but significantly worse as a design so I still had to put her under Zoey.

The community is shit I won't deny it, but playing vs is so much more fun than coop trust me and it's more fulfilling to win against other people with thoughts and strategies rather than down syndrome bots. Coop is a good way to practice though I guess. Also do you not like playing as infected?

It is early on.
Eventually a meta is figured out and the outcome of a match is left solely up to the survivors.
There's very little the infected can do that isn't up to "survivor was bad enough to allow me to do this to them".
Your only hope as infected against good survivors is a well coordinated assault during randomly spawned "fuck you" hordes by the director AI, and since versus is 99% mad dashes to the exit these hordes get very few chances to even occur.
Versus is drastically more fun early in a L4D game's lifecycle, before the meta and routes are figured out and survivors are half winging it every run.
After that every match becomes blitzes to the end as survivor, then trying to win by doing the most chip damage as infected.
It gets dull fast at that point.
Feel free to post more hours than me, I wouldn't be surprised.

Your exactly right I've experienced those matches before and if you have ever played promod or scavogl it's like that alot but in regular vs those types of matches don't happen too often, but when they do you can still wipe the survivors or at least get good damage. There are ~4 maps in each campaign. No survivor is good enough to defend every attack including tanks through all those maps. Otherwise it's just a battle of dmg like you said but that's fine too, it just means both teams are equally matched.

This kind of game where not being cooperative enough is punished tend to create the most elitist fanbase, Payday and TF2 MvM have the same issue.

This is why you should only ever play with friends. Every game of randoms I have ever played with in L4D2 has been with complete cancer elitists. At least with friends, you can play fun custom maps too like the Crash Bandicoot level or Mario Level
