Games that made you shed manly tears

This game really had me in the feels. I didn't expect to like the characters as much as I did and the ending was powerful.

What about you? Which game made emotional about?

This is the first Final Fantasy I ever finshed and I can't believe how they made us get attached to Noctis just to do that at the end. There's no shame on admitting that his sacrifice had me in tears.

Right? Everyone thought one of the bros is going to die, but no expected it to be noct. It was a surprising and painful twist.

I cried like a bitch when I realized I dropped $45 on this trash

Cringe

Yeah, I also didn't expect him to die. I wish they got a happier ending, but it was still great nonethe ess.

The ending was too good for a shit game.

Ending was the best part of the game. Specially because the game was finally over.

Life

I'm still mad that they gave in to the fans and gave the Ignis dlc an asspull alternate, mega happy ending that made no fucking sense

FFX got me from "What a piece of trash game, you deal too much damage to a boss and he gets 7 turns in a row to compensate, what a shitty fuckfest of coding..." to "Aaaaw, he loves his old man..."

shitposting ironically about ffxv should really just get its own board at this point holy fuck

>crying over a bunch of pixels

thhhis felt like emotional manipulation more than aything else
also sojiro is a cuck

It's the reason why I don't mind them cancelling the dlcs and changing them to a novel instead (thought, it would've been great to play as Luna or Aerana). The game already has a great ending. No need to change or fix it.

Final Fantasy IX

>wanted to make me feel for that stupid cunt that was friends with noctis.
>had more feels when they had their last camp before the final boss.
bros before hoes, i guess

When you save the dude at the end of Bastion
The bullet hell credits at the end of Nier: Automata

>had more feels when they had their last camp before the final boss.
I agree for sure, I think that was supposed to be the emotional high point of the game

I'm pretty sure it's the point. They also stated that the game is about brotherhood and Noctis' relationship with his bros is the theme.

>also
*always

I remember the ending of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon being pretty sad but I also was 9 when I played it so I don't know

Really enjoyed XV, but Tactics had a sadder ending

XV is pure kino
