I do that and it still hits me sometimes, idk if the hitbox is just off or something. Maybe my copy is just fucked as disc is scratched to shit and audio is fucked; most levels' music cuts out a minute in.

I remember I actually got got to the last level but when I found out you needed to get all the electoons to go to the final boss I gave up and never finished the game.
