don't kid yourself this game basically sucks. i lost interest after i realized the high wall was garbage on day one release and it didn't get any better. there is no sense of discovery in it. the layout is too linear and due to insta-tele there is no reason for the game to be open/a dungeon crawler anymore. there are no consquences to going in somewhere where stronger foes might be because you can insta teleport to anywhere safer/go spend your souls. this entire series was a mistake aside from BB after DAS1. the bosses suck. the enemies aren't challenging. the magic is useless given how easily broken the game is due to physical mechanics being on point.

While DS3 does apply, my post was more of a general thing, I've lost interest in many games at the final part.

You had shit parents and are afraid of letting things go

ah i see. i guess seeing the ds3 guy kinda triggered me into remember how much i honestly hate the game. not because its bad but because i was more so extremely disappointed with it. what other games have you experienced this with? off the top of my head my favorite end game zone is from ff3 for the nes. its an epic faux-maze like dungeon then you enter the real final dungeon where you can find the final secret area where you get the secret jobs ninja and sage and your characters are doing 32x hits with fuuma shurikens flying across the screen dealing 4792 damage per melee and your sages are just casting mega flare after mega flare. star ocean 2's bonus dungeon is pretty great after making it to indalecio too.

In recent times, FF6 I lost interest in Kefkas tower In SMT4:A I lost interest at YHWH, I can feel my interest waning at Sekiro, and I'm currently only at the true corrupted monk.
Generally, whenever the final boss is gonna take any effort at all is when I stop playing. otherwise I just go though the motions to get it out of the way.

DARK SOULS 2 IS SHIT

happening with me on sekiro right now

Oh right, and Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 2 and 3 Bravely Default

you should finish ff6. i still consider it to be an extreme relic that will stand the test of time no matter what. its fun decimating kefka as you ride through the heavens and oh lordy is the music worth it, and the end credits. i mean that, you should honestly go back and beat 6. i've never played that SMT, ive only played persona 4 and that game is aight. i lost interest after the second dungeon desu, probably because i was enjoying the life sim more then the battles and didn't feel like keep on hearing I HOLD UP I FACE UP I GJFGHFJDSGHSDKJGH for the 100th time. it was a really fun game and i might go back to it but given the poor explanation of dynamics in fusing personas in my adult life right now its not worth the time sink between looking for a job and working on my personal hobby. sekiro looks like shit.

was it skyward sword or twighlight princess that was shit? idr. i'm not huge on zelda ive only played 1, 3, WW, and MC. i loved all of them but something about the wii and wiiu ones dont set me right, like no attraction. metroid prime 2 i remember getting stuck on when i was younger and didn't bother to go back and try to finish it because it felt like it wasn't a very satisfying game. how far did you get? i loved 1. never played BD but i hear thats great

>bloodborne fag bloodborne literally has all the same problems you mention faggot
Charles Smith
you didn't play bloodborne if you think its on the same shit scale as DAS3. next.

Posts with ellipses have a perfect streak of containing the most retarded opinions.
for souls games yes, i think it's because there's no further exploration as a reward for beating the last boss

I'll agree that From's effort to force a level up waifu-hub from demons into their more "open world" styled games has been a factor in immersion breaking. However, this also applies to BB and the fact that you excluded from this makes question your intentions with this post.
Basically, teleportion in general has damaged an element that Darksouls had very strongly up until the Lord Soul portion and this was the feeling of isolation. If you wanted to upgrade your weapon, you had to route yourself back to Andre, Vamos or the Giant. The world felt bigger because you had to travel. This died in the other games, again, Including BB which has you repeatedly teleporting to the safe cozy Hunter's Workshop for all your little shit.
This aside, DaS III is still a good game. The linear level sequencing is a shit decision but mainly due to how it restricts build options that prior games allowed more freedom with. This doesn't ruin the game, even for replay value. >The bosses suck DaS III is the most Boss focused souls to date as it has about three shit bosses compared to other soulsbourne games. >High Wall was garbage High Wall is great, the problem is how the game sort of just sends you there from Fire Link for no actual lore reason except maybe listening to what Elma has to say. It would have been better if there was a better link between Ash cemetery and Highwall.

>dodge and r1 spam mmm hmm. you say you are going to not look at my next post only because you are afraid of the truth.

I got to the very end of System Shock 1 and just kinda stopped playing because of the password that requires you to remember the numbers on monitors in rooms on mazes of maps you have to hunt down and write down

>high wall is great you're smoking man, but whatever it is i'll take a hit Yea Forumsro. personally i thought the bosses in das3 were literally a joke. i don't even know how else to say it, they were unbearably freaking easy with nothing that felt like i was going to actually have trouble predicting what was going to happen or another. just really think the game was garage. its a shame because the mechanics of movement and attack were for once literally 100% perfect, except the rest of the game is just utter sewage. just bad man. im not talking anymore about BB because BB > DAS3 on any fucked up or normal night in this world. its plain as day that DAS3 is is pulp from orange juice inside of a glass of water but you cant take the pulp out and you hate the pulp but you really wanna drink the water because youre thirsty and your other couple of drinks are empty (other souls series games) but then BB is like a glass of water but youre forced to drink through a straw (no pulp).
i rather drink the glass of water with the straw bro. its simple geometry.
