ITT: Games you own 2+ copies of
Don't make ridiculous claims like owning 50 copies of a game unless you have photos to back it up
ITT: Games you own 2+ copies of
MHworld and MH3U (3DS and WiiU).
I own multiple copies of A Dogs Life, it's sort of an in joke between my friend and I too buy cheap copies of that game for each other whenever we find them.
I have multiple copies of The Warriors because it's my favourite game but I did not take good care of the discs back in the day.
Monster Hunter World and Dragon's Dogma:DA.
>Only effective way to play is to spam Mazes
You could own multiple copies of an actually good game
2 of the evil dead
Ōkami on PS2, Wii, PS3, Switch, PS4
I have 2 copies of wild arms 3 because my disc got scratched to the point that certain areas wouldn't load. The second copy I got is scratched too, but in different places so I can still 100% the game between the two discs
Do digital copies count? I thnik i have bayonetta for every platform it released but never played it otherwise i own two copies of mario odessey because i thought i lost one
wew you really like okami
I have 2 FFXII, 2 Dragons Crown, and 2 Disgaea 1s
Resident Evil 4
Bayonetta 1
Grand Theft Auto V
Valkyria Chronicles
Neverwinter Nights
DOA5 (orig, U, Vita, LR, PC - You could technically patch the first two to become DOA5LR)
Wii U games that got Switch ports
Now that I think of It, I double dipped most of Vanillaware games with no regrets.
I have 3 copies of stella glow.
Y-you too
4 copies of Halo CE
2 copies of Wind Waker, one with the bonus disk
That's about it, pretty boring
>Skyrim for the PS3
>Skyrim for the PC
>Skyrim for the Switch
Goddamnit Todd...
Should i emulate it? I've never played it.
The Wonderful 101 (One digital copy), and Catherine
Are you buying Catherine for a third time later, by chance?
At one time I owned resident evil 4, of GameCube, Wii, and ps3. Kinda don’t regret it.
>Monster Hunter 3U
>Super Mario RPG (original cart + VC)
>Super Mario 64
>Ocarina of Time
>The Orange Box (360 then PC)
>Portal 2 (360 then PC)
>Skyrim (360 then PC)
Pirating one of the HD versions is probably a better idea than emulating the original or the Wii version, but yeah go ahead
Oh and >Resident Evil 4
How long until the sequel hits the Switch?
I don't want to have the first game on one system and then the sequel on another.
8 copies of Fate/Extella. 2 are digital and the rest are physical. Have 1 of each Regalia Box, 1 Switch Limited Box, 1 Noble Phantasm Edition, and 1 Velber Box.
3 copes of Fate/Extella Link. 2 Premium Limited Edition with the Holy Tile of the Moon set and 1 Fleeting Glory Edition.
Yes I am fucking stupid.
3 copies of Dragons Crown. There are many others like me.
dark souls 3... for the same console
How do you even live
This. How do you fail to take care of your game disk twice?
Two copies of re4 on ps2 and one on pc
Off the top of my head
>Dark Souls
>Titanfall 2
>Dragon's Dogma: DA
>Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX, X, X-2, XII, Lightning Returns
>I can still 100% the game between the two discs
That is both sad and impressive that you give enough a shit about this game to put up with a jank solution.
>8 copies of Fate/Extella
What the fuck is wrong with you?
But not PC?
One was the original from when the game first came out and the other is a used copy I bought after my ps2 finally stopped reading the original.
I bought Valkyria Chronicles for PC, then decided to get it for switch after not playing it for all this time. I'm finally playing it now when I can't use my PC. I bought Metal Gear Revengence for PS3, then for PC, still haven't played it. I'll probably get it for Switch if it comes out and play it there. I bought GTAV for ps3, barely touched it, then on PC and played it more there.
Fallout 4
I have Skullgirls on PC and PS3.
if you count digital copies i have a bunch of duplicates.
i bought Braid on XBLA, then some years later on Steam.
and pic related i was trying to find my physical copy one day and couldn't, and it was on sale on steam for like a dollar so i bought it again.
When I get a Ps4, most definitely.
I really like Wada's art and the Vita Regalia set was like $20 while the PS4 one was $35 so I bought both new. English Extella had the pre-order bonuses for digital only so I got both again. I preordered the Velber Box for the Nero wall scroll and mousepad.
Not counting re-releases/remasters/reissues (i.e. literally the exact same game in duplicate):
>2x Mass Effect (2x 360)
>2x Final Fantasy XIII-2 (1x 360, 1x PS3)
>3x Fallout New Vegas (2x 360, 1x PC)
>2x Fallout 3 (1x 360, 1x PC)
>2x New Super Mario Bros. U (2x Wii U)
I don't play on PC
With compilations/collections I have a bunch of Sonic 1 and 2 copies and some other Sega games. Just Sonic 1 and 2 I lost the count of it
2 copies of SA1 and SC1(got 2nd spares with a 2nd Dreamcast)
SA2 DC, GC and PS3
Shenmue 1 DC/PS4 and Shenmue 2 DC/Xbox/PS4
JSR DC/PS3
Daytona USA Saturn/PS3
Nights Saturn/PS3
GTA 3 PC/Xbox(Xbox came with VC)
SoulCalibur 2 Xbox/PS3
Bully for PS2/3/4
GTA SA for the PS2/3
FFXII PS2/3
SotC PS2/3
Sonic Mania digital and physical copy of Plus
Probably have more shit. And all 2nd copies were on sale though
I have eight copies of Baldur's Gate 2, all in different boxes. Technically nine, if I count BG2EE on Steam. Four or five Baldur's Gates, a few Fallout 1's and 2's, three Planescape: Torments, three Deus Exes and some gold boxes that I've forgotten.
I liked collecting those old boxes back in the late 90s, early 2000s. Nowadays I don't give a damn.
Dragons crown x2
Dragons dogma x2
Darksouls x2
That's it, just my 3 favourite games for ps3, I got them on ps4.
Metal Gear Solid games too many times than I care to count. Different consoles ports, Substance / Subsistence, HD Remasters collections, Steam versions.
None, great tastes tho OP.
FF7, FF8, FF9, S;G 0 and S;G.
Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Fuck I forgot every FF that was on ps1, except i don't really have them anymore, gave them to my younger brother so he'd stop being a tasteless cod fag.
Soul Calibur 2.
I used to own no less than 3 of the Gamecube version because my mother would keep hiding it from me, so I saved my allowance to buy my friends' versions. She didn't hide it from me because of anything in the game itself, simply because it's recommended for ages 16+ here in Germany, and I was only 15 when I got it. Thanks to Robert Steinhäuser (gidf, school shooter who along other things played Counter Strike), she feared I would turn violent by consuming media not exactly suited to my age group and used to beat and throw things at me when she caught me with another copy. She later changed the locks to our flat and left me to live in the street where I was picked up by my father a few days later, after which I lived with him for 3 years. My mother moved to another federal state with her girlfriend.
Today I only own 2 copies, the GC and PS2 version because of Link and Heihachi.
Dark Souls
Dragon's Dogma
Dragon's Crown
MGS2
MGS3
RE4
RE5
fuck too many to count only cause there was a GOTY edition or i wanted a Vita port or something
impeccable taste friendo.
I really pity your brother, I can't imagine my unwashed virgin brother trying to force his shitty ancient weeb games on me while I'm trying enjoying a round of cod with the boys
>VITA
This reminded me I have P3 FES and P3P. And Power Stone 1 and 2 and that PSP collection.
nice
I have great taste and great body that gets me laid fuck you. pic related.
Skyrim for PS3, PC, and special edition
Finaly maybe someone can answer my question itt, I brought this other battle network 5 cause it looked different does any one know if theres any actual differences?
RS2, I own the original cart, android and switch versions
Deadly Premonition for 360, PS3 and pc
Sekiro for PC and PS4
I bought Oblivion 3 times.
First time, a bootleg copy, second time a legit copy, third time the Steam version.
The first two stayed in Russia before I emigrated so I can't provide evidence.
FF4.
SNES Cart, GBA Cart, PS1 disc, DS Cart, and PSP disc
Yeah there's a difference. The one on the top is fake. Don't even have to bother to take it apart to see that but go ahead and you'll see the black blob in there.
>Skyrim on PC
>Skyrim SE on PC
>Skyrim VR on PC
>Skyrim on Switch.
What can I say, I used to love Skyrim
>>Skyrim on PC
>>Skyrim SE on PC
>not gettting FREE SE through the Steam deal
Brainlet-kun.
I own 3 copies of super mario world for the snes. Normally I would never do this but they are 3 different printings so my ocd keeps them.
Oh right, I got it for free, that's why I couldn't recall buying it and just having it in my steam games list.
>Okami on PS2, Wii and Switch
>Dragon's Dogma on Xbox 360, PC and Switch
>Dark Souls on Xbox 360, PC and Switch
>Tales of Vesperia on Xbox 360, PC and Switch
I also bought 2 copies of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 special edition, I'll just keep one of them sealed forever I guess.
I rebuy all console games on Steam when they get a PC release
Same here, though I had PS3 Bayo instead of 360.
MY FUCKING BROTHER. Jealous as fuck of the tarot card thing.
Wonderful 101 physical, physical unopened and digital.
The Last Remnant
>xbox360
>pc
>ps4
and I haven't beaten a single one. God fucking damnit.
i platinum'd shadow of mordor on ps4 and then i got it on pc from a warner bros humble bundle a few months ago so i guess i'll 100% it again
2 drakengard 1
2 drakengard 3, 1 is ce
3 nier 1
2 nier a
I own every available version of DS1 except xbox one
>360
>ps3
>prepare to die
>pc remastered
>ps4 remastered
>switch remastered
Got most of them on sale but I bought into the memes and sunk hundreds of hours into it. For a while I was convinced soulslikes were superior to anything else but I've 180'd and now think des/ds1 were lightning in a bottle and the rest are shit.
But it works, it starts up and even has a different start screen
I once had 11 plus copies of Parapa the Rapper 2. Kellogs cereal had a PS2 game giveaway that Yea Forums clued me into. Exploited emails and various f members addresses for multiple games. They were either Parapa or that soccer game. Gave away a bunch. Traded one in once to Game Stop just to see how much they'd give me. It was dollars.
Parasite Eve for me lads. I really hope we will get something new since SE apparently trademarked it again.
I own two copies of Liar princess and the blind prince, collectors edition for the switch and digital on the PS4.
2 copies of Rose in twilight, both digital on steam and the VITA.
2 copies of muv-luv. digital on steam and physical on the VITA.
I also own two copies of the ps2 game The Bouncer, but thats because the 1st one kept crashing at sions final cutscene of the story.
And finally I own DMC4 for the ps3 twice. one normal edition on release and a steelcase version I found for cheap in a second hand store.
and if we can count Remasters for this list then:
Okami (ps2,3,4)
All kingdom hearts games that were remastered
Star ocean 3
Persona 4 and Golden
Valkyria chronicles 1 for the ps3, ps4 and PC.
Fuck I blew alot of cash through the years on games I already owned
Take it apart and look at it. You do own a 3.8mm gamebit right? I'd throw it in the trash but everyone is different.
>Switch sequel cancelled
HAHAHAHAHA
I own multiple games of tons of games. My steam library's big enough I've accidentally double dipped between GOG and steam and realised months later I already owned it. Add in twitch freebies, humble bundles, ps+ etc and multiple copies add up quickly.
>You do own a 3.8mm gamebit right?
No
I bought uniel back in the day four times.
I own Muramasa on Wii and Vita TV (need to get a physical copy of that last one at some point), have dragon's crown ps3 and ps4, and will most likely buy P5R which means I'll have a second copy of P5. Very likely I'll double dip by buying Dragon Quest XI on the Switch, not sure yet.
At this stage I'm starting to think physical is retarded for multiplats, as much as I love owning physical copies. I think I'm going to give up, buy everything on Steam, and only buy physical copies of games that are console exclusive.
I unironically own 20 copies of Splinter Cell for the Xbox. It was a charity thing and it just so happened my "retro grab box" contained a shitload of Splinter Cell and Timeaplitters 1.
Should definitely own a set if you're going to buy old cartridges in this day and age. Just better to know then to get burned by some douchebag.
But do you own a fridge full of jurassic park snes games?
Actually I got it a while ago at gamestop when they were still selling gba games I just never bothered to ask
Pic related. Have it on steam and I liked the game so much I ended up buying a physical copy. Physical copies for Rabi-Ribi were very small print runs so glad I managed to pick one up. Have a bunch of games I own older console versions of I have on steam as well but I'm assuming digital doesn't count for you. Also have a bunch of N64 games games I have duplicates of just from people giving me games they no longer wanted over the years. Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Turok 2, and DK64 are just a few I can think of I have 2 copies of.
i have every console version of spiderman 2. xbox is best but has some graphical glitches fyi. maybe its cause i played it on a 360 and not og hardware
Is this a loss reference? Oh wait never mind, it has a miscarriage on only one panel not four.
I don't count anything PS1/N64 era or prior anymore. Most of those games have been re-re-re-released so many times it's hard to keep track anymore.
Disgaea 1 and 2 (PS2, PSP), Okami (PS2, PS4), Shovel Knight (PC, Switch) 3 copies of Valkyria Chronicles 1 (PS3, PC, Switch). DK Tropical Freeze (WiiU, Switch), Mario Kart 8.
I also have some games I bought at various points of my life and still have not opened or played -- some close to a decade old now that I may never bother playing: Uncharted 4, Brutal Legend, Bayonetta, Persona 5, Crysis, and more that are forgotten to time. Shit, I may have just casually thrown away a few hundred dollars.
I pretty much own my entire PS1, PS2, PS3 library physically and digitally.
That said, Labyrinth of Refrain is a really bad game. A shitty game with a new sequel.
Good shit user. That’s why we are getting a sequel.
Regarding the topic, the only games that I own multiple copies of it are Darkest Dungeon (PC, Vita, Switch) and Nu-DOOM (PC, Switch, PS4)
Five copies of RAGE, one being the Xbox One packaging version
>cheap
>three discs
>manual
Why wouldn't I get another copy when I see it?
>games I have 3 copies of
Lost Planet 2 (all 360)
Modern Warfare 3 (all 360)
Chaotic Shadow Warriors
Cabela's North American Adventures
Cabela's Survival: Shadows of Katmai
The Evil Within
Sniper Elite 3
>games I have 2 copies of
Too many to count
two copies of samurai warriors 1. or was it 2 ?
That's the Europe version.
You can tell because it's bland as fuck and we were stuck with it for some time.
my most recent one and probably the most expensive
MY NIGGER same here! Hope you are enjoying the game, bro!
Spent $100 total on the Switch port for rush shipping but it was worth it
that's not a great body, you're just a skinny twink.
>dyel
I remember an user saying they had over 20 copies of VTMB and over 10 of VTMR
It's a good game.
well I've rayman 2 on psx and dreamcast if that counts
If Vanillaware releases something I buy it. Also have the JP/US/PAL versions of Muramasa Rebirth and Dragon's Crown (Vita/PS3). Only have the PAL version of Dragon's Crown for the PS4.
Based liabro
Let me see. I have 3 hyrule warriors for 3ds/wiiu/switch.
2 Dark souls. PC/360
I currently own 3 copies of Demon's Souls
>EU standard
>NA standard
>EU black phantom edition
I have Dark Souls II on every platform except PC, so 4 copies. I'll get the two PC copies eventually, and then the switch version when that comes out.
I own 50 copies of Boktai on the GBA. No photo. Come at me you fucking faggot
There are no games I have multiple copies of but I am currently considering double dipping on Bayo 2 with the switch version , and triple dipping with Bayo 1 with the switch and PC versions.
2 dark souls remastered (switch+ps4)
4 pokemon emerald
2 hollow knight (digital+physics)
2 binding of isaac (n3ds+switch)
like 7 pga tour 96 for snes
Which one do you play the most?
Let me guess. We're going to be that lamp.
Robot Wars: Arenas of Destruction (2x PS2, dunno why)
Stuntman (2x PS2, mistake)
The Getaway: Black Monday (2x PS2, one was missile in wrong case)
Uncharted 1-3 (PS3/4)
The Last of Us (PS3/4)
Shadow of the Colossus (PS3/4)
Pokémon Sun/Moon, Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon (I judge me more than you ever could)
Mario Kart 8 (Wii U/Switch)
N++ (PS4 digital/physical, Switch digital/physical)
Oxenfree (PS4 physical, Switch physical)
Celeste (Switch digital/physical, PS4 physical)
Okami (Wii/PS4)
GTA V (PS3/4)
Wii Sports (Wii/Wii U)
Twilight Princess (Wii/Wii U)
Dark Souls 2 (PS3/4)
Dragons Dogma (PS3 OG/DA)
Probably some others.
I have issues.
Is your head normal-shaped or is it a bit more rounded than others?
If anything it's a bit lumpy
Dragon's Crown for PS4
The case got bent on other one so I bought sealed game for like 20 euros later, and play with the bent case one
And digital version for the PS3
Dragon's Dogma DA for PS3 and PS4 as well
Digital version of EDF 4.1 and a physical one
So this is how NISA stays in business
shadow of the colossus PS2
shadow of the colossus PS3 port
shadow of the colossus PS4 remaster
Their games are so good. Played the newer ones but went back to buy the older versions just because they were that good.
Also cross play for dragons crown means I can loan out my PS3 or 4 copy and play the other.
Dark Souls. I own the vanilla for the 360, PtD for the 360, digital version that came free with DaSIII on the Xbox One for the 360, and the Remastered edition for the Xbox One and Switch.
I have every JP version of Utaware including digital. Only physical for Western, too lazy to make accounts.
Also have the JP LE for Refrain along with Doronia's cloth poster, but only the Vita version.
I own
Dragons Crown PS3
Dragons Crown PSV
Dragons Crown Pro Standard x2 PS4
Dragons Crown Pro Hardened edition PS4
Dragons Crown Pro Digital edition
Dragons Crown Pro Royale edition
Dragons Crown Pro Royale edition Limited Edition (with the wallscrolls and crystal etched with sorcerous)
I also own every Dragons crown figure released aside from the one with Sorcereress falling with her butt because I don't want to spend $600 on it. The extra standard editions were because I bought extra copies to play with friends and two of them backed out because they didn't have working PS4s.
I fucking Love Dragons Crown.
I'm near to buy this shit on PS3 with the soundtrack.
Suikoden 1
Have the Pal Version, the Vita version and the Saturn version.
Going to look for NTSC-US and PC version soon.
I have bought Final Fantasy 7 on every platform its available on.
PS1,PS3,PS4, Steam, ENIX store, Smartphone and will get it on Switch when it comes out
So, so many versions of Sonic 1. Compilations, mainly.
I have two original copies of Onimusha 3, Disgaea 1 and Dark Cloud 2 for the PS2 because I fucked up and clicked the "complete transaction" button twice when ordering online back in 2004.
it says コレが主人公! right under the lamp so you're right.
Oh, and Donkey Kong Country. That one is strictly by choice.
