bad game that sucks

joseph anderson already BTFO this shit game and the nintentoddlers with it

Is this actually worth continuing. I gave up after about 2 hours in the desert area
I mean it's fun but I realized they put those collectable coins in far fucking areas away from the main area off of cliffs and shit

Is most of the game just like... playing area and then "explore these areas with nothing in them but six coins that take 3-4 minutes to get to"

Stop.

The desert level is easily the world that spread its content the furthest and didn't need to be as big as it was. The game peaks in the city, it's easily the best level. There's a couple others that come close though.

So it's just one bad level? Eh, I'll try it again at work then, thanks

please noooo nintendo is untouchable!!

How fucking autistic do you have to be to keep posting this shit

lmao everyday you have to wake up in a world where Mario Odyssey is one of the most acclaimed games of all time and there's nothing you can do.

Cry more little piggie.

It's worth continuing, the rest of the levels are much tighter.
To tight in the case of the ruined kingdom.

Most of those had nothing to do with nintendo.

>explore these areas with nothing in them

Fucking KEK. Kill yourself.

Fuck off Eric.

whoosh

It was a step in the right direction for 3D Mario but I really hope the next game focuses more on quality than quantity like 64 and Sunshine did. Wooded Kingdom and Metro Kingdom were by far the best ones and I'd love for a sequel to take the most inspiration from those two kingdoms in particular.

This.

it was a great SM64 follow-up but I still prefer 64's speed even if Odyssey improves on the movement and Hat in Time ended up being a lot more unique despite having less content

It's not mario kart 8, that thing is still fucking selling.

Never gonna forget it. 2nd favourite game of all time.

Better that than regular shitposting/gay threads like Breath of the Wild.

No it wasn't
Because of the way they locked the hats, they were rarely ever relevant to the missions beyond the occasion shortcut here or there. They weren't even good for general play, as they were all pointless compared to just using the umbrella and sprint cap.
Even the mission formats were mostly just your standard platformer affair. Granted, ones like the bird cage in the ""free roam"" world were better than other games, but in general, the few "unique" missions were far outweighed by the more bogstandard ones. That being said, even those "unique" missions weren't much of note, as Queen Vanessa lasts for all about 5 minutes and the Whodunit mission offers no reward for collecting evidence other than the yarn you found along the way.

It was good, but it was about as good as a 4-5 hour indie platformer was going to be

>using the umbrella
I'm gonna go ahead and assume you mean using it as a weapon and that you aren't that much of a casual that you used the "no fall damage" badge, but either way post discarded, the various mission themes of Hat were a lot more interesting than
>Mario meets real humans
>Mario meets snail people
>Mario meets fork men
New Donk Festival, Bowser's Kingdom, and the moon were pretty good though
