Yea Forums went nuts for the demo, loved the full game for about two weeks, and then hated it.
Fox called that later part too in a tweet, IIRC. Still, the fanbase is cancerous and deserved to get shit on, and while the OST is pretty fucking good I didn't care too much for the game itself. Right place, right time sorta thing.

I was on Yea Forums about a week after it released. Just about every thread was about comparing different outcomes of the first major fight, resetting, easter eggs, characters, etc. It was still relatively unknown at this point so no one really had any contrarian reason to hate on it. I always liked when Yea Forums could get along and not shit on one another for liking a game, even just for a little bit. It was cute.
