Seems like monolith is hiring for a new Zelda game.
MONOLITH SOFT + ZELDA
Cool, I hope they make a more detailed BotW. I think they helped on the first one.
How thicc will their Zelda model be?
I much rather have them work on Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and leave Zelda to Aonuma.
> 12 Huge Traditional Dungeons
> Villain is a constant presence in the story, like Majora or WW Ganon
> Smaller Open World with far more Content
> Darker Tone like MM or MOTHER 3
> Zelda as your companion like Elizabeth or Ellie
> Less Shrines, more Skyrim/Morrowind like Caves with tons of secret shit
> Different location that isn't Hyrule
> No Weapon Durability
> Ability to switch between Link or Zelda any time
> Time Skips like OOT that show Link & Zelda's characters grow from Child to Adult
> Link has actual personality like SS or WW
> Villain with complex morally gray motivations, that are unrelated to trying to capture Zelda
> Over 50 different Enemies & lots of Boss Variety
> Have the Villain actually achieve their goal like Kefka or OOT Ganon
> New Game Plus mode like Dark Souls
> Easy to Hard Difficulty options available at the beginning, like any game in existence
> Lots of Different locations, have Link & Zelda travel to numerous different locations like DQ8 or Xenoblade X
> Actual sense of going on a grand scale adventure like WW or DQ8
> Tons of Minigames like Fishing, Auctions, Mazes, Boss Rush & Deep Sea Treasure Diving
Tell me this wouldn't be Kino
> End of Sad note that still closes the Story in a satisfying way like FFX
This would be fucking perfect
and better enemies, nothing tops the living anus that is a like like. better yet who remembers dead hand?
Better enemies counts under the point about over 50 enemies. Xenoblade X had like well over 100 different enemies, no reason why BOTW could only reuse the same 10 when it has a far bigger budget
I wouldn't mind seeing a full on zelda or zelda rpg spinoff by monolith.
Xenoblade X2 > New Zelda > Xenoblade 3
whatever they do, they should not do separate locations like they did with Alrest, that shit was gay as af compared to Bionis/Mechonis and I assume Mira
monolith already worked on BOTW
this isn't new
>And I assume Mira
Never played it, huh? Just so you know, you can fly between all the locations in pic related with 0 loading screens.
They worked on the map mostly, iirc.
>every other board except Yea Forums has a "check the catalogue" sticky
kys
As much as I enjoy numbered Xenoblade, this. X was rough but one of my favorite games of all time. It deserves a proper follow-up.
All the Xeno games are rough. They're just so big that they're hard to polish fully. They're like a huge cut gemstone that's amazing on one half, and the other half is still stuck in a geode.
>more detailed BotW
Smaller and denser I hope.
BotW was pretty damn dense. I only found like 350 of the Koroks and I felt like I searched everywhere. Not to mention I'm still missing like 3 shrines. Just because you're not tripping over content every 3 seconds doesn't mean it's empty.

its finally fucking happening
2019 is shaping up to be a good year
It likely won't be out until 2020 at the earliest. Monolith take their sweet time.
Link is going to know the power of the monado
I'm not talking about it coming out in 2019, just that 2019 is a good year for all the shit we're being exposed to, at least to me. I'm waiting for that crystal chronicles remaster this year personally
>the master sword is a blue monado
Goddamn I miss this game. I just want to run around getting stuff done again
They already opened a recruitment for Xeno team last year after the release of Torna.
Finger crossed on what they're working on.
I know how you feel. X was a masterpiece.
caves please
this is old news
We're gonna see a lot of good first-reveals on dormant projects, I feel. I just want to see SMTV in action.
The level of how much I was engrossed in X is hard to top. All those cool world-building side quests too.
I would prefer switching between zelda and link in separate aligned stories. Like if there was a zelda side in OoT. Or maybe a bit RE 0 esque.
don't get me wrong, I like XC and XC2 a lot, but XCX holds a special place in my heart. It's hugely underrated, didn't even break 1 mil (around 800k last I checked); it deserves more attention - I pray for a switch port with extra features, perhaps extended story. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
>leave Zelda to Aonuma
You mean Fujibayashi? Because I agree.
