yikes

>Failing computational logic even though I'm trying my best because I just can't comprehend the concepts
KILL. ME

i went from being a neet who never finished high school to studying cs and i passed calc 1 doing next to no work beyond weekly assignments. it's not even remotely difficult. sort your fucking shit out retard.

>falling for the college meme

Calc is short for calculus. I know this because I am smart.

>dont know what the fuck im doing in organic chemistry 2
>somehow passing

Get a tutor it works

stop fucking around user. Unplug the consoles and pack them up. Talk to your classmates and form study groups. Now you have something to hold you accountable for studying. Go to tutoring if you're having trouble. Read the subject being covered tomorrow today.

STOP FUCKING PLAYING VIDEO GAMES.

Fuck you, kid

It all depends on the professor at the end of the day. I had a history professor who failed not docked papers because he considered incorrect bibliography spacing and punctuation plagiarism.

If lock up all your games you'll just jerk off to internet porn.

If you cancel your internet you will start going to shady phillipino man and renting movies.

If you get rid of all PCs and anything that can play movies you will finally "catch up on all these books I have but never read".

Its you.

What math concepts are you having trouble with user? If it's shit like basic limits and derivatives I swear to god

>HAHA WHOOPS I'M SO IRRESPONSIBLE XD
>PLEASE LOOK AT ME HAHAHAHA
>HUG ME Yea ForumsROS
fuck off

Have sex

just don't forget to do MCAT or GRE practice stuff and you'll probably be alright

Where were you back when I had a scholarship?

How? Calculus is so easy.

>dif eq
>harder than calc
fuck off high schooler

Check out this guy's stuff. He's a teacher. His notes and practice problems should help you out.

>graduate college with a degree
>parents won't get off my ass about going back and getting my masters
I really don't fucking want to but I still live with them and I don't have enough to move out, FUCK

>calculus 1 class
>final exam was like 50% of the final grade
>soiled it big time

I passed but just barely, that shit is dumb. Probably should have talked the teacher into upping my grade but I didn't feel like it. fuck college.

it's just four years dude
suck it the fuck up for four years and get decent job security for the next 30

Does that really happen? I’d fucking sue.

>consoles

I was too dumb in high school for the maths, probably because I was lazy. Anyways I’m getting an honours degree in business administration because I can’t get into any STEM/Math science program in Canada because of my poor math marks in high school :/

G-Grand?

playing video games is the only thing keeping me from killing myself though

No one will care.

I got a stem biochem degree 3.4 gpa took calc as well got a b and guess what? I can’t even get a job at quickcheck. Currently applied for 70 jobs indeed.

I hope your major is either computer science and eginneering otherwise you are playing on veteran difficulty when you graduate

Good thread

quick post a math question

That's not how it works anymore, everyone always wants something extra on that resume

College just gets you massively in-debt and a slightly higher chance of working a job you may or may not want

>graduate
>"sorry you have the skills, but we want 20+ years of experience"
>but i did all this internship surely it helps
>"LMAO THATS NOT EXPERIENCE"

what the shit?

Go back to 1970 Boomer faggot

They didn't like you personally.

>decent job security

>diff eq literally uses taylor series, a calc 2 topic that fucking destroys students
>calc 1 harder than calc 2
no you fuck off

Are you me, fucking hell

What's so hard about taylor series? It's just a single fucking formula that uses calc 1 concepts.

Lol how tf anybody fail calc 1? just limh->0 (f(x-h)-f(x))/h) dude lol

fucking how? I was a math major and got a 3.9 while still playing games for like 40+ hours a week. Like, I played pretty much as much as I wanted.

what the fuck are you playing that's so interesting you can spend that much time with it?

>9th grade I have a teacher who tries to teach the class using unapproved and unsuccessful lesson plans
>10th grade I had a coach who didn't care at all, would often cancel tests and lessons to watch movies because he was hung over
>11th grade my teacher quits halfway through the year and our long-term sub doesn't know how to pick up the pieces
>12th grade I'm in a remedial class with the sole purpose of just getting us to pass
>Get to college
>Don't understand any of it
>wtf user lol math is so fucking easy how can you be this stupid?

Fuck off. I still got my bachelor's in the end, and use absolutely none of the math skills I needed to learn anyway.

Calc 1 is piss easy bro wtf
I can help

it's not that hard it just destroys calc students because you spend the entire course doing integrals and learning different ways to do integrals and suddenly it's this completely new and different concept that throws people for a loop

user, I failed cal 1 3 times and got kicked out of business school because of Yea Forums addiction and vidya.
Get your shit together you dummy

calc 4 is where the real cancer begins. 2 is pretty bad depending on how much of a brainlet you are

>taylor series, a calc 2 topic that fucking destroys students
Really? When the fuck were they supposed to be difficult.
I remember trigonometric integrals kicking my classes ass. They were fun though.

>calc 1
>college
did you attend classes in high school or what?

Never touched taylor series in cal 2 or diff eq. Used it in a matlab class later on though.

Maybe the problem is that you entered a ridiculously oversaturated field.

>PhD, MBA not required but desirable

Attached: 1553718116042.png (182x373, 50K)

Why even attend school?

This shit is hard. I thought I was hot shit because I was able to effortlessly ace every test in public school, but holy fuck.

>psychology

How do I calculus bros?

>psychology

Attached: 1374210545977.gif (298x224, 2.85M)

linear differential equations are quite easy to solve.

Non-linear ones... you need super computers to simulate a solution.

Attached: 1535588951436.jpg (640x480, 34K)

Wtf even is calc 4? Don't need it for engineering and I don't even think my school offers it

>wojakvirgins are also low iq retards
As expected.

Attached: 1537647059291.jpg (992x940, 103K)

>psychology
Well there's your problem

calc 3 > ode > calc 2 > calc 1

is taylor series the shit where it's like an integral but made discrete, so it's slightly inaccurate?

in hindsight, that seems like the most useless shit in the world.

Same here fellow math major. You see, for people who don't have our talents things as simple as Calculus take those people much, much longer to figure out. I don't really know how it can be considered hard to other people, but for whatever reasons their minds just don't work.

>psychology
>can't find a job
Sounds about right. You may be able to salvage it if you go to grad school and specialize

you can still play vidya, just stop being shit at math. Actually practice do do your homework dipshit.

reminds me of my first two years but it was calc 2 and I was grinding umvc3.
series where it’s centred around a value a, each next value in the series is the next derivative

Don't worry, that's just how Orgo works. Unless you need to take Biochem next, in that case fucking go to the professor's office hours and try to figure that shit out. Otherwise you'll walk into next semester like it's the vanilla Capra Demon fight.
