So can we come to a consensus whether this game is harder than BB and DS or not?

It is harder, yes

This.

I'm convinced most people complaining about it are retarded. You have to use different tactics on different bosses, yet people seem to not understand this.

I just fought the bull, and realized you can easily dodge everything he does by constantly running around behind him, then slaughtered him only getting hit once.

It is if you don't abuse the parry and the stealth like the game wants you to.

I was much, much more frustrated with Bloodborne and especially the DLC, the only boss I'm having any trouble with here is the Demon of Hatred.

yes

You are absolutely correct and this game is still pretty challenging. Way more challenging than all 4 Souls games and Bloodborne

I don't think its necessarily harder than the other 2, it's a different type of difficulty. The thing is that Sekiro relies on mechanics that were terrible on DS and BB, like blocking with a weapon.

Souls veterans will have the idea negatively imprinted in their minds and will try to instinctively dodge everything, which is not as good in sekiro because battles are won by inflicting constant posture damage, not just normal one.

in DS and BB, blocking would always result in loss of health, and unless you were using a shield in DS, you wouldn't be able to block every attack. You can block every attack in Sekiro unless its a perilous one or a grab, so veterans initally get confused.

Ludwig, Laurence and Orphan ain't got shit on most of Sekiro bosses honestly in terms of difficulty
