Only rhythm game you need is Rhythm Heaven
Everything else is trash
Isn't your general already on /jp/?
kinda wish i still had time for these games but everytime i think about playing the setup and thought of derusting turns me off
I'm going to an arcade that has Jubeat Qubell, Reflec Beat, Museca, Dance Revolution and classic DDR Extreme
I've only played DDR, can somebody redpill me on the other games?
museca looks dumb as fuck but is actually very fun
ddr extreme is a classic and I love every song on it but that's probably just because of nostalgia for it
Sound Voltex is fun desu. I'm playing at around level 10/11 and it's fun to learn how to get good.
Jubeat and Reflec Beat are pretty easy most of the time, so if you want more relaxed gameplay go with those
Museca I haven't played but heard good things about it
DDR is good, I'd recommend playing the newest mix because there are a lot of quality songs added after Extreme (Extreme's song list is still good though)
PIU has better gameplay than DDR though. DDR blows it out of the water in terms of songlist.
>Pump It Up
Fuck that shit, those diagonal arrows fuck my shit up hardcore. I'm a decent DDR player but the skills do not translate between those games at all
Game Underground?
Nope, Arcade Legacy
Anybody else played Gal Metal? It's one of the Switch's only good rhythm games
I've been meaning to get it for a while, but I've heard pretty good things.
Which ones are the other good rhythm games then in your opinion?
IIDX is absolute rhythm game bliss and I highly recommend everyone try it out if they have a Round 1 or anything near them
It takes a little bit to get into but the skill floor is a lot of what makes it so satisfying to learn and get better at
There's the Frederic games which are okay if you get them for 99 cents on sale
I'd love to play Taiko on Switch but from playing the demo the motion controls are shit and I've heard the official drum peripheral is pretty bad. Not gonna play it with buttons because it kinda defeats the whole purpose of playing Taiko.
>only place that has IIDX (a round one) is an hour and a half worth of travel away from my place
Fuck, I want to go and try it sometime but it's just not worth it when there's an arcade literally on the way home from my job if I want to play SDVX anytime.
DANCERUSH WHEN
>tfw moving to bumfuck midwest from southern California
I don't want to abandon my rhythm games.
I've never played one of these but I bought an eamusement pass last time I was at Round 1 and started playing Sound Voltex. Menus were a struggle at first but I think I got it.
Level 7 is where I start falling apart but I'm new here.
>really like rhythm games
>can't stand 75% of shitty weeb music usually available
I'd never heard of those before, they do look like they might be fun for that price.
I can get what you say about Taiko, I got it recently and I like it, but I got it mainly for the songs in it so I'm fine playing with buttons. The motion controls are fun, but yeah, not very good.
Where at? Why you moving?
I like it here. No people. Clean Air.
Country Roads (tm).
Indiana, about an hour south of Indianapolis.
