Hello. So, a couple of days ago, I was fortunate enough to try out Version 3.0 of Smash Ultimate early. I had a look at some changes and I was pleasantly surprised at some of the results. I also had a look at some of the code and in-game models which was really cool. So, I'll explain what I saw:

I saw a couple of new game modes. Firstly, was a whole new stadium mode, replacing Mob Smash under Games and More (Mob Smash is now under stadium). Firstly, Home Run contest was back, as many people expected, and it seems to function similar, except that you could share your score online (providing you have NSO) you have individual scores for each character too. Secondly, Break The Targets is back under the name "Target Smash" as it was in Brawl. Unfortunately, it seems all the characters have the same stage rather than individual stages, which I was expecting to be honest. As for Games and More, there is Stage Builder, which I didn't look at much but it seems similar to Brawl's stage builder with elements from Wii U's one. Also under G&M is a boss rush mode. You can wager gold at the start to fight through all the bosses. There's a light path, (Fighting GB, Rathalos, Galleom, Master Hand and Galeem), A Dark Path (Which I didn't play but I suspect would have Marx, Dracula, Ganon, Crazy Hand and Dharkon) and a "True Path" consisting of all the bosses (including the hands together as well as Galeem and Dharkon beng fought together). The True path also, requires more gold but you gain better rewards. Is also a really easy way to gain spirits. Speaking of spirits: there's at least 20 new spirits I saw. I don't remember many of them except I saw Sobble from Pokemon Sword and Shield (I can't remember if the other starters were there) as well as Ninja from Final Fantasy. They're the only ones I remember but I promise there was more. There will be more in the next post:

Since I saw Ninja from Final Fantasy appear, I was curious about if there was any more final fantasy representation. Midgar gained a couple more songs (not many more but there's more than 2) one I remember was the battle theme from FFX. Also, Black Mage appears as as Assist Trophy. When summons, he shrinks opponents down, similar to a lightning. I wasn't sure is it could backfire because it didn't happen to me. I'm pretty sure he can't be KO'd. I'd assume he has a spirit but I didn't remember seeing it. As for online, I couldn't see any changes to GSP or anything like that, unfortunately. There were also 3 returning stages being 3ds Rainbow Road, Melee Mushroom Kingdom (for some reason) and Orbital Gate Assault, which look amazing by the way. There was also a new stage based on Aether Paradise from Pokemon Sun and Moon. It's a moving stage with each area being attacked by Ultra Beasts (e.g. I remember Buzzwole acting like Pyrosphere Ridley on one area).

Now as for characters. Firstly, I noticed that two assist trophy characters were made characters, however I am pretty sure they're not part of the fighter past nor do I know when they'd be released. These 2 being Isaac and Waluigi. I didn't play Isaac since I didn't have time but I did play some bit of Waluigi. His moves are quite quirky, almost as if Luigi crossed with Bowser Jr. He also has a hilarious Final Smash where he launches opponents into the Waluigi Pinball MK track before running them over with a pinball. As for there Assist Trophies, they still exist. Even whilst I was playing as Waluigi, I actually spawned in a Waluigi! It was quite funny. As for another possible character that might be in the FP, I say an unrecognizable Kirby hat that looked similar to Slime from Dragon Quest. However, this is just speculation and I can't prove it. (DESU, I can't prove any of this because I wasn't allowed photography but believe me if you wish). I also played with Joker and his moveset is so memorable. Any player of Persona 5 will love its references. That's most of what I could remember. There were numerous other changes but this was all I could remember for now. Also, I would ask if you could turn down the rudeness. I don't mind if you don't believe me but just don't be rude. Thank You.

I do apologize for my grammar. Also, whilst playing, I don't always focus on the brand new characters but I can say that they're not who you're expecting (which is generally the point). So I'm pretty sure that Erdrick, or Steve won't happen (and I kinda hope they don't).

Uh, when did they say Isaac was never going to happen? There are no patterns when it comes for characters happening. Remember Ridley? Also, irrelevant characters can be revived by Smash, like Pit. Secondly, I'm not a furry but I don't judge anyone if they are and thirdly, I'm not Lax Chris and I don't like him.
