Oculus has better controllers.
Vive has a better headset (Not by much though).

I really don't have much motion sickness in VR so i bought the Oculus for the Analog sticks on the controller. For me it has been totally worth it.

Valves long-awaited knuckles controllers are almost-surely coming this year (major titles built around them are confirmed 2019 already) and it would be genuinely beyond the pale even for Valve for them to not at least give some rough estimate of when to expect the HMD at that time (assuming they aren't releasing together). Pimax may be finally getting their shit rolling for real with on-demand shipping of complete package (HMD, lighthouses, controllers) in the next few months, but their price will probably remain pretty high. is a shitty troll, ignore them (Rift S is a bad joke, tracking is king in VR).

No, I use armswinger. Take and Hold or Meat Grinder or any of the games that require you to move up stairs and through corridors are infuriating. Mostly due to it not having snap turning so you end up tangled in your wires within the first minute. yes but it's simply not for actual 3D displays and especially not VR. It can look good if it's very explicitly aiming for a retro style (with matching low-fidelity textures), eg. Compound, shit like literally just doesn't work. the effect they're going for is based in forced perspective which literally just doesn't work in VR.

Motion controls suck for melee though. Imagine hitting something and not having your whole arm movement halted by what you're hitting.

Strongly agree, as long you have a good mid tier pc that can run VR just get yourself a WMR Headset. It's well worth the price in my opinion. Haven't had any issues so far with it and works damn well without having to spend a fuck ton for a Rift or Vive.
