It really depends on who you're playing with though.
Generally I'd have to say cooperative games, because there are definitely fewer people who can handle competitive stuff without getting pissed at each other.
Kirby Superstar and Pocky & Rocky 2 were big ones for me and my brother, since he'd get super pissed after getting stomped at Mario Kart.
He always handled it better when our older cousin shat on both of us at once with his Mario though.
We even played through Earthbound "co-op" once during summer vacation, with a big ass blanket over us and the television set on a chest of drawers with two bar chairs packed into a nook at the back of our room.
Fucking hell why did I even come into a nostalgia thread, goddammit.
