Travis Strikes Again, Dead Cells, Tangledeep, and Blaster Master Zero 2. Considering buying Unruly Heroes for a Rayman Legends-like game.
Guess I'll play Enter the Gungeon again next week when the last update releases.

Nigga what drought?
My wallet is the only thing dry

Attached: B1D4854E-7112-4055-9337-E47702E2C2C8.jpg (1024x576, 77K)

The one where the only big game is yoshi

Yoshi isn’t a big game
That’s some shit for my nieces

The first party drought
Look I'm probably a bigger nintentard than you but quit pretending there is no first party game drought

What drought? DMC5 just came out, so I'm patiently waiting for Astral Chain.

Street Fighter 30th anniversary edition, Dark Souls Remastered, Hollow Knight, Super Mario Bros U Deluxe with the gf

sometimes go back to Odyssey to find more moons and sometimes some Ultimate when the homies come over

Attached: 10007396_555138007963387_3433811917186315164_n.jpg (680x578, 32K)

Dead Cells, The Binding of Isaac, MHGU.
Waiting for my sweet sweet Hollow Knight to get delivered in about two months while i plan my comfy pre-orders for Daemon X Machina, Astral Chain, Pokèmon SnS and Link's Awakening.

Also I fucking hope BABA is YOU gets a physical version.

What drought? Anyway I'm playing Gunvolt 2 right now. Currently waitinf for my import copy of Ace Attorney to get here and thinking about starting either Travis Strikes Again or Vesperia once I'm done with GV.

Why are so many of you unironically asking "what drought"? What the fuck did this board become, it's been several months since the last big first party nintendo game, and we did not really get any relevant third party games either, this is a drought and there's nothing wrong with admitting that

I have soooo much stuff on my Wish List and there a good bunch of eShop games coming out next month

I don't know where to begin

DoAX3

there's clearly a first party drought, nobody is denying that, but there's been a good flow of third party games, especially indies.

But there isn't a drought. I've bought at least one thing for the system each month so far. Now if there was nothing at all coming from 3rd Parties, Indies, and 1st party at all, I might agree with you, but I have plenty to play right now not even counting games on my backlog, but rather stuff I've bought in the last 3 months.

there will always be an overflow of indies and second hand third party games in the industry's current state, that's a non-argument
if there are no first party games and if the Switch is not getting the main third party games being released such as RDR2, DMC5, Sekiro and such, it is a drought, and the fact we got Baba and a shitty DoA does not change that

Do you guys think Activision will bring Sekiro to the Switch / Pro?

It's one of the very few third party games that appeals to me this gen that isnt on Switch

i'm juggling three games at the same time now: trails of cold steel on ps4, and chocobo's mystery dungeon and brave dungeon on switch.

Attached: 6E25BB02-1E2A-4A57-8AE2-3076CD32185F.jpg (1000x1000, 403K)

Personally, I'm not in any hurry to buy Sekiro, bought DMC5 on PC, and didn't like RDR2 when I did play it. I'm pretty happy with the games the switch is getting.

why are you trying to turn this into a debate?
third party and multiplatform games are still games regardless of what platform you're on; ergo, this is not a drought of games as a whole on the platform. There is, however, a drought for first party games and exclusives if that's what you meant. Just because you're more interested in X games instead of Y games does not mean there's a drought.

Have ace attorney preloaded, the 9th can't come soon enough. Might pick up chocobo mystery dungeon, I'm big on Pokemon mystery dungeon games but I've never tried that one.

How the fuck do I stop spending money on this fucking console?
It’s just so comfy, I keep buying everything mildly interesting. I’m having a hard time not buying fucking FF7 again. Then X is right around the corner. Then RE.
I already preordered Dragon’s Dogma.
My SD card is fucking full, I can’t even download the shit I buy, but I have too many cartridges as it is, and it’s starting to clash with the pick up and play appeal of the console.
Then I have to buy the new switch xl or whatever the fuck is supposedly coming if it’s any noticeable performance upgrade at all.

Fit boxing and DOAX3.

I don't know what the fuck people were expecting from this system, honestly. I picked one up a few weeks back because piracy looks in a pretty good place now and I want to play demon X machina, but I'm under no delusions that the system will ever have anything worth playing.

If I'm lucky it'll wind up as the Vita 2.0 and get some fun HD rumble titles, but I can't imagine ever finding a must-play title on it.

Ok? Go blog elsewhere?
The fact you have other systems and can play the main releases there is a non-argument regarding the fact of a drought specifically in the Nintendo Switch system
Don't ever reply to me or post in my thread again
>why are you trying to turn this into a debate?
I assure you I am the person that wants a debate the least. I just wanted recommendations on what to play, but suddenly my thread is overcome by a bunch of pseudo nintendofags offended by the term "drought", and I can't escape this debate considering how delusional someone must be to think the Switch is drowning in great big releases right now

Attached: 1552258271815.gif (275x206, 1.7M)

I'm not sure they would create many pro exclusives when it does come. PS4 pro got jack shit and 3DS XL barely got anything.

Ignore RE on Switch until Capcom admits they're charging $10 extra for no reason.

>How the fuck do I stop spending money on this fucking console?
By pirating

>offended by the term "drought"
not at all, it's just subjective over whether it's a drought or not. Personally, I've got a backlog to get through as so much has come out recently. I don't really know why you choose to ignore smaller game releases as games, despite the fact people are clearly interested in them and/or are playing them. AAA games aren't the only games people play.

I'll continue to do whatever I want Faggasaurus Rex.

How’s brave dungeon?
Looks interesting

Muh splatoon tho

I’m on the South African eshop because of the prices, I only have a vague idea of how much I’m actually spending most of the time

Having a backlog does not mean there wasn't a drought between month X and Y of year Z of a given system
Smaller releases are ways of coping with a main release drought, and that's what I am looking for right now

What drought? These jrpgs take hours to finish and i’m not a neet who doesn’t work.

>Smaller releases are ways of coping with a main release drought
lmao do you hear yourself? user, what are you on about? If the game is enjoyable it's irrelevant over whether it's a big-budget first party release or a smaller third party release; plenty of people ITT are playing these types of games and looking forward to similarly 'small' games as well.

Quit living in a consolewarrior world, it's not how people actually view videogames irl.

>what drought? these games released 2 years ago are something to consider!
the state of this fucking board

fuck off consolewarrior

Get a life.

>Quit living in a consolewarrior world, it's not how people actually view videogames irl.
Ironically that's what you are doing when you try to convince yourself there is no drought just to save face
And stop pretending Baba and DoA are the same as getting Sekiro and DMC5
I acknowledge the drought and welcome alternatives while I wait for FE and Pokemon

What are some good action games on this fucking thing? I've beaten the Bayo games and they're literally my only games so far.

Attached: whatever.gif (250x250, 282K)

>he only has one console

it's a really quirky, barebones dungeon crawler with five dungeons. instead of doing them one at a time, you're supposed to do the first floor of each of the first four dungeons, then the second floor of each, the third floor, etc. and then tackle the tough fifth dungeon after that. you also don't get new skills automatically by leveling up - instead, you get new skills by choosing one of two class changes when you reach a certain level.
it's fun, it's dirt cheap, and it's getting a sequel soon.

I played the 3DS version. It's a simplistic dungeon crawler. It's pretty easy overall and takes a few hours to beat. However, you're expected to complete it several times to unlock things such as cheats and art. Completing it gets faster as you get unlock cheats such as increasing exp gain. The spritework is nice and the music was pretty enjoyable.

nigger, I have multiple platforms not just switch, and I'm telling you that people care about these small games. I, for one, have been playing baba whilst so far ignoring DMC5 and Sekiro (the latter doesn't really appeal to me, the former I just haven't picked up yet due to lack of time)]

your mind is living in a consolewarrior world as you desparately try to tell people what to think.

>how dare you offend my console
>get a life, like I, the rockstar that spends their time defending big companies and yelling at people who make complaints about them

Attached: 1533421776982.jpg (890x895, 270K)

uhh just got done with monster boy and the cursed kingdom, playing a lot of splatoon 2 and just got started with rayman legends. plan on finishing that after yoshi comes out and start blaster master zero 2, then unravel 2, then box boy

Been watching a lot of anime to pass the time.

if you want to complain about lack of first party, fair enough, but there's plenty of other games coming out that other people are interested in

just to add on to this: it's also getting a sequel with better graphics, an actual story/dialogue and some base-building feature.

Attached: 80E1552C-4D44-4034-A099-8A62038EB785.png (1191x671, 878K)

>you desperately try to tell people what to think
you are a fucking retard if you think I am either desperate or trying to tell people what to think
in fact you are once again the one showing signs of doing so, specifically the later
if only the Switch had Crunchyroll software, or Netflix, it's perfect for that but Nintendo is still too incompetent

Attached: 1525449014478.jpg (1280x945, 351K)

can we get back to the comfy please

who's excited for box boy!

>drought
Nigga apex legends just came out
>b-b-but that isn't on switch!
???

?

and?

smash ultimate, this is the first smash game that I've really gotten into. I was scared before the game came out that I was just interested because of all of the hype and that I'd just play it for a day once it came out, but I'm glad to say that I've played the game daily or almost daily since it came out

Yoshi is the comfiest game that is coming out in the near future.

nigger you're getting angry that people don't consider this a drought due to the abundance of different games they're playing (that you happen to yourself not be interested in). You want people to agree with you that it's a drought but the only thing they agree with you on is that there's a first party drought (which there is)

This
Last year I spent like 1000 dollars on Vidyas
I filled up 2 64 gig cards and the whole drought meme is clicked
If anything I’ve been in an constant flood since October 2017

How is the card game?

Holy fuck you are a dumbass

PAX east is coming, lads. Really curious to see AC3 and Mortal Kombat.

Smash Ultimate
BOTW

My PC games

And on the way
Astral Chain
Super Mario Maker 2
Animal Crossing
Prime 4
Luigi's Mansion 3
SMTV
Pokemon Sword
+ whatever suprises are at E3
I only use my Switch for exclusives, so I don't get multiplats.

this
its my first playthrough and i love it

op btfo

MHGU
Adept Light bow gun feels like a more reality grounded Bayonetta

You even type like a dudebro, stop replying to me
>I only use my Switch for exclusives
Mistakes, the Switch gets the best version out of some notable multiplats
Namely L.A. Noire and Dark Souls

>You even type like a dudebro
what the fuck does that even mean?
I'm about as far as a dudebro you can get

>dark souls best on switch
Sure bud.

Nigga I ain’t 14 anymore
I have more shit to do instead of 100%-ing every game I own

MY NIGGA. Astral Chain looks kino as fuck.

I just got FFVII. It’s my first time playing a final fantasy game. It’s been alright so far, not super into it yet but if I get through it I’ll move on to X/X-2

souls would be best on switch if the compressed audio didn't somewhat ruin it.

t. received the game as a gift

>this
>its my first playthrough and i love it
i might get it on switch but i was just thinking about emulating it on my PC i dont really bring my switch anywhere with me and its collecting dust, i want a reason to use it but im just thinking about putting cfw on it and putting single players that ive wanted my friends dont play smash anymore and i dont really play smash online

does anyone here have cfw on their switch?

the game doesn't actually start until you leave midgar

i haven't tried it, but i've heard it's shit and not worth playing.

Name three non-port third party games that came out within the week. Blaster Master Zero 2, ???, ???

If you can't do that, then there is both a first party and third party drought

Day 1 buy for me
If we could get some more Platinum games on Switch
That would be Gucci

Souls audio was always shit, people just have nostalgia goggles
Which isn't to say they didn't compress it and reduced its quality considerably, just saying even the standard is still noticeably shit

shovel knight king of cards when, sick of waiting lads, might not make it...

>download FF7 before work
>read that apparently the port has old bugs that never got patched on PS4

How bad is it?

Same. It's been so long since I've last played it.

Fate Extella Link
Dead or Alive Extreme 3 Scarlet
Shining Resonance Refrain
Final Fantasy 7

looking forward to Rune Factory 4, and Astral Chain.

Have sex

Fucking cheapass Bamco.

the best part so far is
>3x speed toggle
>no random encounters toggle

it really helps with dealing with some of the more dated mechanics. if you end up playing on PC you should just get the version they released on PC instead of emulating.

>Namely L.A. Noire
not with that framerate.
>and Dark Souls
not with that sound quality.

Attached: 1511506408997.jpg (1920x1080, 310K)

Is Switch like other consoles these days where you have to install everything despite having a physical version?

it's significantly worse, though, they heavily compressed the bitrate. It's extremely noticeable when ringing the bells, for example. Sounds horrible; such as a shame as the rest of souls on switch is arguably the best version since they didn't include the lazy lighting changes and opted for the imo much better moodier lighting of the original game.

>motherfucking Splatoon 2
>Stardew Valley
>Hollow Knight
>Binding of Isaac
>Smash
>BotW and Mario Odyssey
>Into the Breach
>Dead Cells
>Baba is You

these are what im playing right now. Good console im very happy with PC + Switch

no

>not with that framerate
nitpicking, it's fine more often than not, same case as BotW

okay ill just pirate that then im really trying to find a reason to play my switch but i cant find anything that i cant just get on pc by pirating

Some games have large downloads either because of updates or the publisher being a cheap asshole, but I don't think any game makes you install all of it if you buy it physically.

>Yoshi's Crafted World tomorrow
>BOXBOY
>Super Mario Maker 2
>Fire Emblem: Three Houses
>ASTRAL CHAIN
>The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

>Hollow Knight: Silksong

god my wallet is so fucked this year

Someone has to be buying them, they won't cut it out with this wooly Yoshi shit.

>no Cadence of Hyrule

Been playing Remilore, basically Diablo with an anime girls and mech enemies

woolly world is my favourite game in the series after island, so I think I'll enjoy it.

Fuck me, guess I got a while to go then. I just got shat on by that scorpion boss. The battle system looks fairly straight forward and simple, but I’m not a fan of that time/wait gauge. Also read somewhere I gotta study up on materia combinations and stuff.

it's not "nitpicking," i'm simply pointing out that the switch version isn't the best version of la noire when there are frequent points where it runs worse than the original.

No one is answering it, so I guess the Switch is having another drought, and won't see anything worthwhile until June.

If this was a Sony console, you guys would be relentless, but I guess your biases are showing.

>Switch release: Spring 2019

It's delayed, isn't it?

Good thing you can play things other than first party AAA in the console, right?

The lighting and effects are more true to the original than the other versions.

which is cancelled out by the fact that the audio is atrocious compared to all other versions of the game.

>it's a drought if there's first party and no third party!
>it's a drought when there's third party and no first party!

Should I start Vesperia or Travis Strikes Again when I get off work?

Sony consoles never have either kinds of drought.

Well, if you can call say there's a drought of games on switch even though there's plenty of games that just don't happen to interest you, I can say the same about the PS4 considering I haven't touched mine in 6 or more months.

That's the way to go.

Except for that period between May and September and September until now.

Smash and Starlink.

>not an upgrade
yikes

Just Nuclear Throne mostly. Debating whether or not I should use coins on Blaster Master 02. Never finished the first one.

>buy $90 leafbucks joycon to prevent this fucking stick drifting that keeps coming back
>or buy equally expensive pro controller for the odd time I play on the TV
Why are your things so expensive shitendo

Too overrun by college to play, but mostly smash and hollow knight. Been looking into chocobo mystery dungeon, baba is you, and SH treasure trove. Really looking forward to cuphead, lethal league and maybe mortal kombat next month

The remaster of Sniper Elite 2 might have great local multiplayer, hopefully it isn't $60. Currently going through and doing more Mario Odyssey stuff after getting 600 moons a year and a half ago, really great game. Blaster Master 0-2 is pretty good, and Target had the first two Labo kits on sale, so I picked them up for $20 each. Only built the cars and fishing rod, but they're pretty neat pieces of technology and for $20 provide a very unique experience.

Dragon Quest Builders

Downloading BMZ1 and BMZ2. I can't believe that I haven't heard about these games; I loved playing the original with my older cousin.

hollow knight if you haven't played it already

Can't go wrong with octopath.

I started FF9. I'm only on the first few hours but I have an irrational fear that I''ll go through the entire game without ever feeling hooked. Everyone praises it to hell and back and I just hope I do end up enjoying it.

Fucking this. I can handle shit graphics and frame-rate drops, but I loathe poor audio quality.

Tried it a while back, they "couldn't replicate the problem". The drifting happens on and off and compressed air doesn't help.

Take a video and send that to them too. That's what I did.

Attached: 1553026283954.png (837x454, 459K)

speed toggle sure, i dont think the no-random encounters? the best part about the speed toggle is it speeds everything except the music. i dont think emulators can do that either.

no, always try compressed air first. Contact cleaners are risky and can make the problem worse as there's nowhere for the fluid to drain out or dry properly.

I'm still getting all the moons from SMO. I just finished after many tries the darker side of the moon

Take push and is to the other side.

(not that guy)
Redpill me on this, user.

I picked up Night in the woods the other day, gone in more or less blind, only knowing that it's fairly popular. I quite like it, wasn't what I expected, and haven't played it for the last couple of days. I want to make sure I get back into it before I never bother to come back. Mae is pretty cute.

one of my right joycons doesn't input anything at all - all buttons besides the sync button and the stick won't input and the warranty is expired. What do? Send it for repair anyway? (no idea how much they charge to repair them or how long it'd take though)

kind of hoping someone knows what causes this, it almost seems firmware related but afaik there's no way to 'reset' joycon firmware.

I have never heard of that problem. Usually its just drift and short range in the left joycon.

also forgot to mention there is no visible damage on the controller, no liquid damage, and it wasn't dropped or anything. I simply connected it after not using it for a while and it went nuts spamming inputs, turned it off and re-sync'd it and now none of the buttons input anything. As I said, I suspect its firmware got fucked somehow but I have no idea what I can do besides send for repair and pay up.

Donkey Kong is a lot better, but if you still want more platforming after you finish and Maker doesn't interest you, NSMBU is still pretty good.

I did have stick drift issues with the same controller but it happened rarely. Never had connectivity issues with any of my joycons at least. I can't find any info on this issue so much be a rare fault I've stumbled across somehow

Okami
This game is dope yo

I had to send mine in three times. They kept sending it back saying they did something unspecified, but the issue persisted. I told customer support it's the third time I'm sending it in for the same issue, they wrote something on their end, and they ended up returning me a new one that time.

holy shit I'm retarded and hadn't even considered I could teleport myself or words over the rock
had been trying to clear the foliage with the rock like a retard all along

I'm talking out of my ass here, but I think the joycons are pretty fragile. I've had my Switch for just over a year now, and the left joycon analogue stick sticks sometimes. I have dropped it a couple of times, but other that it's fine.

OP and plenty of people in this thread got a Switch without understanding that you need to be into japanese niche games to actually get the most out of it

Gunvolt maybe? You like a lot of shit I do, and it's Inti like BMZ.

>I'm talking out of my ass here, but I think the joycons are pretty fragile
naw, I agree. They are fragile as fuck, that's why stick drift issues are so common - the analog sticks are poorly protected with a thin sheet of rubber, meaning dust and even moisture from natural skin oils can make its way in easily and mess with the sensors. Part of the problem is that they're so tiny, everything had to be downscaled which led to shortcuts in design.

I don't think it's the result of cheap materials really, just a result of poor design choices and compromises to scale them way down.

Aragami and Fate/Extella Link

I don't like xcom type games

Yeah, it's pretty annoying, but it's bearable at the moment. Tbf, I have used the switch a lot over the year I have owned it, and since I got a monitor I could use to play in docked mode, I almost never play in handheld. Is a pro controller worth?

Attached: Nom nom noodles nom.gif (200x210, 49K)

I'm just looking for something to hold me over until Maker comes out in June

Pro controller is good. The only downside is the hd rumble doesn't stand out as much as with the joycons.

You're this little fag who's tired of being a shopkeeper and wants to explore dungeons full-time instead of just for supplies.
Graphics are a bit better than your average pixel-indie game. Either comfy or ugly depending on your tastes.
Sound-design is solid, the weapons and enemies sound great, but movement sounds like it's from a cartoon
Music is great when you're in the town/overworld, but the dungeon music is incredibly repetive, and that's what you'll be listening to for most of the game
The combat is an average action-adventure, but you have several different types of weapons to choose and upgrade. Each weapon has a standard and secondary/charged attack.
Gameplay revolves around selling items at the right price and exploring dungeons for treasure and items to either use or sell.
If you like dungeon-crawlers, pixel art, grinding or business sims, this game is great. If you're a musicfag, action-adventure fan, or someone who hates grinding, avoid it.

neither do I, but there are plenty of games on switch that I'm playing rn. Taiko no Tatsujin got new DLC songs, Puyo Puyo eSports got new modes and Caligula Overdose, DoAX3, Fate Extella, Nelke & the legendary Alchemists and Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon just released
So again, if you dig japanes niche stuff there's plenty around

>Taiko no Tatsujin got new DLC songs
GIVE ME SHINKALION YOU FAGGOTS

I've considered getting a pro controller as well, but the price puts me off. I did get an 8bitdo controller instead when I saw one for cheap, which I use more for PC than switch desu (not having HD rumble for switch games is weird to me), but I'm hesitant to get an official pro controller due to the price and how they supposedly have poor dpads (and I play a LOT of platformers and sidescrollers, so if the dpad is as bad as they say I'd end up rarely using it)

I'm not too fussed about that, like no games utilise that anyway, right?

Attached: Fair enough.jpg (531x429, 44K)

isn't that song already out?

Smash Ultimate, Tetris 99, Binding of Issac

On Switch, just Smash. I need to get back into Valkyria Chronicles 4 though.

I'm actually focusing a lot on Witch and the Hundred Knight Revival on PS4 and I'm sure once I'm done with that (which I will be in the next few days, really just have to finish Tower of Illusion basement levels) I'll still want some more Metallia, so I'll play Disgaea 5 on my Switch a bit.

Planning to get Cuphead next month.

Unless I'm actually blind, not outside of Japan, or maybe just "not Europe" knowing my fucking luck. Taiko wiki seems to agree with me on that.

I've been playing them recently, so I'll recommend the Gunvolt Striker Pack.

...aaaaand now I'm turning on my Switch and buying this game. Thank you, user. And yes, I am a musicfag, but grinding, dungeon crawling (am a huge fan of Quest of Dungeons and ''mystery dungeons'' type games) and business shit is just for me.

You can get them for $55-60 now. Maybe cheaper if you get some deal on top of that. The dpad does tend to have an issue with registering a diagonal input if you tilt the left or right sides up or down though. You can fix it easily with tape if you open it up or you just get used to playing a bit more carefully.

A few games make really nice use of it.

>not buying the japanese release
oh no, I'm sorry for your loss

I bought Fate Extella Link and The Caligula Effect, while waiting for anything in my wishlist to go on sale and use my 10 dls on Golden Coins.

I'm interested in it, but the combat looks really slow in videos. Specifically your characters attacks seem really slow.

Eh, I'm not gonna pay import fees just for one song even if it's one I like.

Doing my damndest to get through FF9, but it's a bit of a slog. Gonna play 7 after, then 10, and then FINALLY World of FF.

only games where I noticed HD rumble at all are odyssey and (to a lesser extent) M&R kingdom battle in very specific areas. I've heard Mario Party uses it pretty heavily as well but I haven't played it. I suppose Okami HD uses it fairly well in a very subtle way, too which is an excellent port btw, I'd recommend it to anyone that somehow hasn't played okami yet

I feel the pro controller is still too expensive for what it is, I think it's an excellent controller (as I've used one before) but it's not perfect and is one of the most expensive standard controllers around. Sadly, I don't think it'll drop in price much, nor do I think they'll ever do a revised version with better dpad and analog triggers - which would be my dream controller.

unironically, HD rumble in Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 is pretty good aswell

Based user. The grind can be difficult, but my love for Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky mad me push through it.
The combat is really slow, and sometimes enemies have incredibly fast hurtboxes, making killing the take forever. Just spam arrow if you're having trouble with flying enemies

Smash uses the rumble well too. The best use I've felt for it was in Mighty Gunvolt Burst in which an item can let you find breakable walls by rumbling in the direction of the wall based on where your character is standing.

Vanquish
Starcom

do i hack it or not bros

do you value online play?

I'm on my PS4 playing real games. Switch is trash

I havent played anything online on this shit, and I cant think of an interesting online ip in the future?

Switching Between FF7 and Mega Man X4.

I think both of those games were from 1997.

Stardew is very fun imo, bought it on PC and switch and have dunked quite the time into the switch one. If you need something to crave the progressing farm itch for 15 bucks do it.

Attached: 1548012229331.png (698x675, 213K)

then do it
the dilemma of hacking is just what you value more, free games or online play

I'm playing Dark Souls properly for the first time. I tried years ago on PC but the port was utter shit, having it on a portable console is bliss.

It really was. I was actually interested in buying the game until I played the demo lol. It was fucking terrible. It really sucks that they took such great games like yoshi's island and yoshi story for N64 and turned it into this shit

I meant the more gimmicky uses of rumble, where it feels like something different (e.g. mario odyssey bike engine rumble)

Should I get Blaster Master Zero 1 before 2?

Yeah, they're both worth playing, and you'd understand slightly less what's going on if you jumped straight to 2.

Definitely play it more. It's a fantastic game with a REALLY great soundtrack. This is one of my favorite's:

No imagine an HD gameboy
You pop the cart in and unless there’s updates you can start it up almost immediately

Anyone getting DOOM Eternal on Switch?

>Super Mario Maker 2
I have absolutely no talent or even a slight interest in making my own stages, but Jesus Christ, imagine all the maps people will put for download. This is a must-buy game!

Yeah, though I wonder if gyro will be in on day 1.

Epic! XD

Guacamelee 2

You'll have to depend on Yea Forums creators and such for quality, wading through the levels randomly was a real motherfucker in the first game.

>"Don't move" automatic bullshit.
>Kaizo bullshit.
>Toddlers uploading the ten minutes they spent randomly stabbing at the Wii U gamepad.

I hope switch online won't be required to play other peoples' levels> If they absolutely must shill their online service, just make it so you need the subscription to upload a level.

Tetris 99 & Toejam & Earl on Switch.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 on PS4.

Doesn't that game promote communism or some shit? It looks maximum comfy but I'm not big on games with tranny characters and leftist dialogue.

No doubt will it. Wolf2 had it day 1

that's why I only used the bookmarks site (hopefully will be integrated into the game this time), and the comfy level sharing threads you used to get here to find the good stuff. Once I found 1 good level, it'd usually chain itself to more by browsing through other uploads from the same user. Some creators made an entire mario games' worth of levels alone.

Finally picked up Star Allies and I'm enjoying it a lot. Not having as much fun as I'd hoped with Travis Strikes Again, but it was definitely worth the $30, no more no less.

I'm playing Mario Odyssey!!!!!!!!!

>caligula effect and fate extella just came out for it
>princess guide is coming out next week
>i still havent finished remi lore
>because blaster master zero 2 just came out on the eshop

came in this thread to call you a nigger

I've got a few jrpgs, but since I'm playing Division 2 right now, my Switch is getting a tad bit of dust.

I don't know anything about any of those games

Surprisingly great.

binding of isaac
waiting on slay the spire but it's been 2 fucking months since they said they'd announce the release date and still nothing

i stopped playing on pc in january so i wouldn't get burned out before it came to switch but now i have a fucking HANKERING

So, Zell teased that there would be multiple "big" third party announcements for Switch in March. PAX starts tomorrow so I guess we'll find out then

He could be wrong, too.

how do I stop feeling like I need to get new games constantly

I heard Cave Story+ has a coop mode.
I'd love to go through the game with a friend but I try to avoid supporting Nicalis. Is the game worth another it?

CS+ co-op mode is extremely unforgiving, as if one player dies you both die. Coordinating is a nightmare as you don't have any way to teleport another player to you, yet the level design remains the exact same. It is cool that you get so many skins to play as, though, with new ones unlocking as you progress through the story.

Only play what you like. Period.
Don't feel inclined to buy something just because it's new, and don't be afraid to stop playing the game if you're getting tired of it. You can always come back to it later. Or don't, because it doesn't matter.
I find that video game exhaustion only really comes from people who feel like they need to keep on top of everything.

my bad it auto-teleports if the other player is off-screen, but in many cases when one of us was better at platforming than the other it was awkward to bring player 2 up with me.

not finishing a game fully makes me feel awful though, especially if I liked it at first
there's so many things I haven't played that I feel like I might like but I can't know for sure, I just feel like I need to add to my collection constantly for some reason and actively seeking stuff out instead of just waiting for something that really interests me cause there's so much I could be missing

The Demo for Umihara Kawase Fresh! Currently available on the Japanese Nintendo Switch Eshop!

Yes I am shilling it for free so go play it you cuck jew nigger lovers I want more popularity for my girl

Attached: Umihara 4 full render.png (896x1023, 634K)

is it as bad as sayonara?

What are some Switch exclusives? Everytime I find something interesting on Switch it's available everywhere.

dude i feel you

Just got back into Stardew Valley. Other than that I started a new character in Skyrim recently. Just started ngp for Vesperia. Working my way through hollow knight bench by bench. Playing against the ai with all weapons in Worms. Tetris 99 and trying to beat ninja gaiden without save states.

as in non-first party exclusives? There isn't much, maybe stuff like Golf Story or Travis Strikes Again

Octopath Traveler
Blaster Master Zero 2
Travis Strikes Again
Dragon Marked for Death

All my friends say Octopath is gay shit but maybe I'll look into it.

Have the fixed the Audio shit?

have they not fixed that yet???

longest wait

Attached: Untitled.png (899x580, 287K)

Just got a Switch on Saturday so I have a lot to catch up on during this "drought"

The Gunvolt games might as well be exclusive. Sure you can play it on PC, but I'm pretty sure the Switch version is the definitive version and 2 is only on Nintendo platforms and again the switch version is the definitive version.

this, and I bought nuclear throne, which controls like shit

>july 26
dang, hope you enjoy them user

>2019
>not having their switch hacked while waiting to buy the revision models

Blaster Master Zero, it was a fun surprise for a new game that literally came out last fucking week

Yeah and it’s been several months since Spiderman

Currently playing Remi Lore, Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, and Octopath Traveler. Really liking 2 of the 3

Attached: 1518069764493.jpg (734x769, 22K)

>implying it has to be only major first parties

Since fucking when did people stop whining about third parties
Cause we got a fuck load of them and Indies

Mortal fucking Kombat is a major third party and it’s coming to switch, kindly fuck off

Smash and Master Blaster Zero. Late but pleasantly surprised by the latter. Just found out 2 is out. How is it compared to the first? There's some bullshit parts in the first one, but overall it's a good experience.

>he pays for ports of old games and indies

Attached: 070.png (633x874, 64K)

Resident Evil Revelations 2. The raid mode is fun

Attached: claire smile.jpg (963x1024, 123K)

Waiting for Dragon Ball Heroes. Playing Dank Souls and CSGO on my PC.

2 is way better

But they're portable on Switch

Currently:

Captain Toad Treasure Tracker + new DLC, Wargroove, Liar Princess and Blind Princess, Unravel Two, Lion Story, Blaster Master Zero 2

Blaster Master Zero 2 is new faggioli

You are a fucking imbecile, how is it a drought if games are being released? Your subjective taste is irrelevant. Shit if Nintendo goes a month without releasing a first party title big fucking whoop, there are other companies putting shit out, should I be out here claiming Sony has a drought because it hasn't released any fucking first party shit?

Awesome, thanks.

What the fuck, yours comes tomorrow even though you ordered way early. I ordered only three days before and my arrival is also tomorrow.

what's this gay shit

30 fps chaps my ass man.

>treasure tracker

absolutely based. Great underrated game that will sadly never get a sequel

it does have some slowdown(especially mad dog or whatever its called), but I mean specifically aiming with the sticks

SO much better on mouse+keyboard

Tales of vesperia.

>1
The new dlc levels were super fun

Enjoying it?

I've been managing with them. But I also played the shit out of Gungeon on ps4.

Stellaris, Rimworld, TF2 and 3DWorld. Might start another XBC1 run and I'll definitely be giving SMG another run.

Attached: 1544568719557.gif (400x191, 1.67M)

I'm waiting for Astral Chain and have no idea what to play.

Was thinking about picking up Marble it Up, Monster Hunter, or Blaster Master.

Is the DLC pack for Travis Strikes Again worth a replay or should I just wait for the second DLC pack?

Just play the demo retard

I have TT for the wiiu but I dont want to buy it again

but the DLC does look good

It explains the origin of the peachette crown in new super mario bros u switch version - they find it at the end after collecting all the crown shards instead of stars

zoom zoom

I havent touched it since playing a week of Smash. What a butt console.

Nuclear Throne.

>ps3
>ps4
>no droughts

KLOPOA

Try it yourself

cringe

Yeah.

Playing a new character in Skyrim right now, waiting for Salt and Sanctuary to come in the mail.

baba is you
is
good

Mighty Gunvolt Burst. It's a really damn good Mega Man clone thanks to the customization.

Thinking about selling mine (and keeping the controllers/games) due to the upcoming revision + drought, and being kinda hard up for cash. The only game I play on in is Puyo Puyo

At worst I just buy a new one for Pokemon.

You could like, ummmm, well you know... use that money you spend on games and... ummm, sorry for being coherent about it but listen to me at least once: use that money and buy more SD cards stupid fuck piece of shit retarded mongoloid bitch

Smash ultimate
Mr.shifty
Dead cells
Furi

Did you have to pay for the famicom version?

Stardew Valley
Lumines
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate
Hollow Knight
World of Final Fantasy
Tetris 99
Splatoon 2

That's a lot of games to play at once user.

Drought started after botw was released right?

bubba

Attached: pohh32uwloo21.jpg (750x730, 58K)

Playan Blaster Master Zero 2 and waiting for like 18 games and 15 to go on sale already on the eShop.

you kidding? 2017 was packed for switch, 2018 was the big drought, 2019 has been good so far and looks to be ramping up now.

Finally getting around to night in the woods
A treat I have been saving for a rainy day
I got fucking fired

>playing Blaster Master 02
>planetoid that consists of some gay ladder jumping bullshit
>skip it
>get bad end
>find out you need the fucking item from the gay ladder jump planet to unlock true route

The devs deserve to be gassed for that shit. And yes I know the jump button grabs ladders, the timing is still finicky as fuck and I get robbed by the turret at the end anyway. Fuck that unfun bullshit.

Attached: 1551828459329.jpg (336x336, 33K)

Lmaoing @ your life

I'm taking a break from getting my shit pushed in with sekiro, speaking of which, I really don't see how they couldn't optimize it for switch.

Attached: dark-souls-remastered-551539.3.jpg (1500x1500, 369K)

Has anyone here switched out their backplate for a custom one? I got one, but now my switch doesn't slide into the dock freely and has to be pushed down. Is this normal?

Attached: back.png (986x608, 282K)

Fuck that planet.
The safe spots are pretty easy on the first ladder, then as soon as you get to the second one you can just immediately jump into the water and then go shoot the turret to make getting back easier.
I was curious if you needed 100% or just the emblems for best ending though seeing as I straight 100%'d it as I'd played the first game, so at least I know that now.

Wait, I thought that was just a health upgrade? Do you actually have to 100% everything for the true ending?

Necrodancer and Devil Engine
