I like being able to put double AA batteries in my controller. I think this is a good thing.

That is all.

why?

not sonytrash.

>get cheap batteries from china in 50 pack for pennies
>never have to charge your controller just swap batteries
it works

I agree it's nice not needing to charge my controller every 2 hours and it gives your controllers a longer lifespan because your battery doesn't wear out. I hope next gen the DS5 has a better battery.

Loved having my DS4 battery BREAK and become unchargable because I didn't use it for a month. FUCK Snoy.

I put rechargeable batteries in mine, it's great.

I like being able to call you double bomer. I think this is a good thing.

That is all.

or simply swapping out drained eneloops with charged ones from their charging station and never ever having to tether yourself with a shit 4 foot charging cable like ds4s force you to

Replaceable batteries are good, even if you use rechargeable thereafter.

same

here's how you fix that. order brand new one from amazon, swap em, rma them as doa on Amazon's dime.

Is she saying how awesome huge boobs are?

ydah but why the lgbtq eneloops?

Yea Forums is the faggot board.

I agree.

"Eh? Aren't boobs only for raising babies? There are other uses for them? Like what?"

back in my day they just called them roy g biv and roy is a dude.

>great tier
charger with good (40+ hours) battery life
>good tier
plugs into console directly
>meh tier
batteries
>shit tier
DS4 tier battery life

I use rechargeable batteries and swap them out when a pair is drained, been doing that since the Wavebird first came out

Honestly I prefer only having to by a cheap as fuck battery off china every 5-10 years, but maybe that's just me.

>batteries randomly explode because they're knock off's
heh

I prefer being able to charge the controller directly rather than have to fuck with rechargeable batteries
Plus the Xbone controllers have terrible build quality

Speaking off, have Microsoft stopped doing their maximum kikery thing of having fucking proprietary cables for their controllers like it's the fucking 90s.

Kinda want a Xbone controller for my computer but the 360 controller was a massive pile of garbage so I'm hesitant to use any controllers of theirs, even if the Xbone one is supposedly better.

it is. but you need rechargeable batteries. Once they lose their capacity all you need is to buy new ones.

There's no way to fix PS4/PS3.

That's part of the fun.

Is there a different gen for the DS4 controllers? I'm able to get 12 hours straight with my 3 year old controller.

baffling when people have such backwards opinions

agreed. pop some enloops in that bitch and enjoy that week long battery life and 10 second hot swaps

you just have to buy some cheap chinese time bomb battery that lasts half as long. thank you sony.

its standard micro usb.

fair warning if you drop it with the cable plugged in its probably going to be fucked

>There's no way to fix PS4/PS3.
You mean other than replacing the battery?

>its standard micro usb.
Thank the fucking lords in heaven.

>fair warning if you drop it with the cable plugged in its probably going to be fucked
What is it with Microsoft and terrible build quality?

it's honestly better than dealing with the ds4's unreliable charge life at this point

>batteries

Sorry, I dont like living in the 90s

>buying chinkshit batteries
seriously hope you guys don't do this

its easily fixable if you know how to sauder.

but basically if it lands on the cable its going to break the sauder holding the port into the controler

The DS4 controller is ass cancer. All my wireless controllers I don't even have to think about the battery in it for months. I have multiple logitech mice, steam controller and xbox pad and they all perform perfectly and last months. DS4 controller doesn't even last a day before throwing fits. There's just no excuse for battery life that poor.

>buy 6 dollar rechargeable batteries

>Not just a fixed USB cable

>I dont like living in the 90s
I do

anyway, standard controllers didn't go wireless until 05/06.

>$60 controller with built-in rechargeable battery
>$60 controller that uses disposable batteries
Hmm.

ill take the one that isnt a wired controller io 1 year

>Buy a 4 pack of Duracell Ultra at the pound shop for £6
>300 hours of controller power

No complaints here.

someone post the EEH? pasta

So neither?

>eneloops
It's all about the IKEA LADDA my dude

It's literally the same cell, just with a different brand and cheaper price

>wireless

Neck yourself.

>six fucking pounds every month
or the port itself gets fucked and you need equipment for soldering pcbs and skill to fix it

Attached: 1390607257131.jpg (430x356, 20K)

if you play vidya for 300 hours a month you need some serious help

>300 hours a month playing vidya

Nobody does this.

no u tranny nigger

Attached: 1535683099954.jpg (3000x3000, 547K)

I did this when oblivion came out, then again when skyrim came out.

You can refer to my last comment.

At least your recognize your opinion is backwards, it's ok, we can't all have taste

>sauder
Isn’t it supposed to be solder?

Xbone controllers are blue tooth compatible so you could get an USB adapter and go wireless. They run about 10 USD. Honestly though you sound anti M$ so I recommend looking at some custom routes if you have the money or Logitech/universal stuff if you’re on a budget.

>Xbone controllers are blue tooth compatible so you could get an USB adapter and go wireless.
I don't care much about wireless. I just don't want to spend like 30 fucking bucks on a simple piece of cable.
>Honestly though you sound anti M$
There are people in the world who aren't
> Logitech/universal stuff if you’re on a budget.
I do have a Logitech controller. It's both amazing and unusable garbage at the same time. It's got some really fantastic features I like, analog/d-pad switch, xinput/dinput switch, uniform analog stick placement, usb powered, pretty decent d-pad, xbox face buttons, convex analog sticks. However it has some of the worst shoulder buttons of any controller I have ever used so playing any game that needs them is more or less impossible, and the analog stick movement has such low sensitivity in some games turning it up to max still makes it too slow. And it feels incredible cheap(though that's to be expected for the price). Damn shame. Could have been so good.

I did once. never again
