Dead game

I have trouble beating my dick
Why is Master so cute?

When/where can you get a new weapon? I've been at the ogre for days and it seems like I should be using something other than a fucking katana on it, what am I missing?

That tengu guy tells you to kill another ninja at the castle or something
where is the ninja exactly

Get Young Lord's Bell Charm from the old lady

Attached: Spartacus You.jpg (600x800, 85K)

Not another ninja but it's the short enemies with the hats; they're also called "rats"

the katana is the only main weapon
but you can get at least 5 prostethic tools before the ogre
and some katana skills

It's the 3 midget dudes on the right as you head up to the castle from the Gyoubu idol

the ones who spam shurikens at the roofs?

I slapped around owl and im sure i've gotten eevrything for the boy but the boy just keeps talking about the pit. What do? Is the stone not the shelter stone?

What attack power did you have for the final boss

I'm fighting Ashina Genichiro on the rooftop and I'm deflecting his attacks just fine, but I'm not sure when is my window of opportunity to chip away his health. Help?

Attached: 1414598862079.gif (740x416, 2.94M)

11 or 12, with 17 Vitality.
Which, apparently, means that the red ogre one-shots me in NG+. Fun times.

13 or 14

need help with rice loli.
how can i get more rice from her?
i only got rice once after obtaining the blade

How do I transfer saves from a pirated copy to a legal one? This game deserves to be bought.

Just come back later.

Your window is always, keep attacking him whenever you deflect his shit.

Where do i get the spear

You gotta give the rice to people or use it to get more

Generally speaking, any time you deflect an attack and the enemy doesn't *immediately* follow it up, like it's part of a combo, you can attack at least twice and still have time to react to whatever comes next.

is there any obvious trick to owl? he's kicking my ass fair and square

Attached: 359 IQ.png (1310x212, 47K)

just keep attacking him constantly to break his posture

Eat all the rice
warp somewhere else (must do this)
warp back and ask for more rice
she gets sick, give persimmon
give special rice to kuro immediately

I got the axe, shurakin, and flamethrower tools pretty quickly but now I’ve just stopped getting them. I’m at ashina castle entrance right now. Can someone just give me a nudge as to if I’ve missed a couple of prosthetic tools?

i did like almost everything right now.
do i have to trigger kuro to be kidnapped first?
i'm near the thunder dragon fight

that is false, already tried that one

after you beat the first boss, go back to the tutorial area

No, when you pass through the doorway after the horse boss, climb on top of the gateway after the rifle enemy, and head right. There are two rats by a tree, and one slightly higher up. You can eavesdrop them. Their hats act as shields, can be busted by the axe.

>what if I'm the 4th monkey
fuck, that's good
I don't think invisibility alone has ever killed anyone before

Finally beat genchiro. Been exploring the sunken valley. Found a gourd seed and beat snake eyes. Going back to the temple now and I can't find Emma to give the gourd see to. Where did this bitch go?

nvm fixed it

had to eat the rice ball infront of the boy if anyone else has this issue

Castle Entrance is still super early.
You've missed one, though, in the Hirata Estate area.

off the top of my head you missed firecrackers and mist raven
one is sold by a vendor and the other is in the hirata memory

Are you fucking kidding? I thought that was a meme you're telling me I bought a game that has one fucking main weapon?

ok thanks

The firecrackers one i think

You get rid of it, then come back later.

No seriously, you give the rice to the old ladies, one in senpou temple and one in the sunken valley. You get more rice after giving the old ladies rice.

check the tutorial area, the area after that and the memory area
they all have one more tool you can get

He's pure, has eternal youth, and he has cute feet.

Attached: 1547258418196.png (1549x1006, 1.45M)

How the fuck do I beat that dude in the reservoir hole? The room is tiny and the camera keeps fucking me up

Dilapidated temple

Wait, how do i get there

Does dragonrot really effect the game? I had 3 plaques but used the cure. Is there a timeline where the cure won't have any effect ?

The game was funded by a western kike, if you had a brain you would have saw that coming a long way. Westerners treat nips like shit and so the games all suffer and have fuck all content.

If i can't beat juuzou should i just give up cause he's really making me want to stop playing.

the one armed ninja? just deflect his shit and mikiri his kick

Who is kuro?

when you get to the castle, it's right next to it

What this user said but there are also 3 tools in the castle. The umbrella, knife and spear

are there any points to the kites?

Is the final "point of no return" before you go on to the end boss(es) fairly obvious? I'm guessing it is, but just checking.
I'm aware there's one choice when you find Owl again, and I do mean after that.

That's where im at, the one with the Sculptor Shes not in her usual spot.

see

The cute boy.

Attached: 1551262299370.png (500x334, 236K)

Gyobu's theme is pretty kino desu

>gaijin 4koma
>in 2019

It's a really shitty encounter thanks to the area.
Here's how I cleared it, might help. He was my first major roadblock.
youtube.com/watch?v=JFYx-RQ7oDo

there are a couple kites that you can use
but if you mean the ones with the flying enemies on them, no

You can grapple off it to get serpent fruit for a secret ending.

You don't need a new weapon you need to get fucking good

Ah that fag, also why do i have to give the rice immediately? I forgot about giving it to him and have been going around for a while.

Ah. She goes to Kuro's room after that point.
I was misremembering, my bad.

Right, cleared Mt. Kongo and seems like I reached a dead end. Spoke to the guy there, got asked to give something to the young master or whatever. Made my way through a little bit of the misty woods, saw a path with another drunkards, and cleared out the surrounding area before him near the temple (that I need to get on top of).
Also reached the top the castle and saw Genichiro chilling up there, didn't approach him though.

Best course of action now? Assuming the drunkard path in the forest gets me on top of the temple. Also, how the fuck do I get the item on top of the bigger statue in the swamp? I see an opening higher up but can't reach it. Finally; is there supposed to be a boss immediately after the swamp in that huge open area? And how do I get through the opening letting light in to said area? I can see an item up there.

Attached: IMG_6084.jpg (1000x569, 347K)

You know you can jump off the top for a stealth deathblow and knock off a health bar right?

Ashina castle? I forget the tutorial, but it wasnt crowded like this area

who is the girl before divine dragon tomoe?

The katana is weak as shit you're telling me you don't get something more powerful? Do I get to at least upgrade it with different stats or something?

He might get kidnapped again, you never know with him.

The surge 2 chinese edition *Now with shitty stealth inside!*

>two hits way from killing hirata owl
>fuck up, die
>only reached second phase twice in 30 minutes

Attached: 1527978384575.png (700x700, 760K)

Any tips on fighting owl? The best move I can get in on him is the 2 shuriken and then the overhead but everything else does so much posture damage to me

no you idiot, this isn't an RPG

it's right there
just explore more

How do you avoid the dash attack on Demon of Hatred? By the time I've gotten to phase 3 I don't have enough tokens to use the mist and avoid it. It seems in P3 he gets a secondary sweep after the first that you can just jump over but the initial one always hits me unless I mist it

I didn't back then!
I was incredibly frustrated that I couldn't backstab him, since he just suddenly knew I was behind him and turned around 180 degrees.

Why can't I read this? Is it the same letter from Iishin's room?

Attached: Sekiro Screenshot 2019.03.26 - 18.54.21.67.png (1920x1080, 2.42M)

The final point of no return is the Divine Dragon boss. Once you kill him it goes into endgame.

I tried to beat this dude forever and I would always start with that, then one time I fucking missed and I was like fuck it we're doin it live and I ended up killing him without even using a revive. Then genichiro proceeded to hand my ass to me about 60 times

The big bosses give you upgrades for the sword plus you can unlock arts.

To progress further at temple, you have to fight Genchiro. You can continue through mist forest and fight a different boss for a key item. The item at poison pool can be accessed through a ledge that can be found in the corridor immediately pass the snake eyes lady.

>guy asks to be spirited away
>oh so he wants me to kill him?
>can't kill him
>mortal blade him?
>doesnt work
>swear I saw mention of spirit away in item description
>use the leaf fan
>huh, guess it isn't this one eith-
>"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Attached: 1538778315937s.jpg (125x119, 2K)

You can effectively loop his AI by staying aggressive, just keep tapping R1 at a relaxed pace and see what he does, you will either interrupt his shuriken/bomb throws/jumps/run up attacks or he will deflect and counter attack. If he does the latter oftentimes you can just keep him in that deflect loop building up a shitton of posture damage. Bonus points if you corner him and do it since if he tries to jump away to escape thats like 2 hits worth of free damage. Dont let that faggot combo you.

You've GOT to be kidding me...

don't need mist
suzaku umbrella is immune to almost his entire toolkit

>missed purification ending
fug
didn't realize I had to go listen to them immediately

Jumping always works, be careful not to get greedy with R1 spam.

You're not supposed to be doing a lot of health damage you stupid faggot. The core of the combat is about doing posture damage and getting deathblows.
Stop trying to play the game like it's Dark Souls 4.

You do get new skills, shinobi tools, and upgrades along the way, but if you don't git gud right the fuck now this game is going to eat you alive

>start fight with sneak drop execution
>spam axe
>win

I HAVE TO KILL THE BOSSES TO UPGRADE THE FUCKING SWORD?? WHAT?? AND HOW DO I KILL THEM WITHOUT THE UNUPGRADED SWORD?!

You upgrade your attack power, and upgrade your prosthetic tools which can have an influence on your sword later. You will also unlock skill books thst allow you to learn skills you can use in and out of combat.
The sword is fine, the playstyle is more about parrying and counter attacking, so it wouldn't matter what weapon you have as you'd be doing the same shit with them.

My favorite thing about this game is how much the Dark Souls fags are stomping their feet because it's not identical to DS.

Get fucked, retards.

You cheese them, just post which one you are having troubles with.

How do you get to the valley place?

Attached: 1483653713585.jpg (400x379, 41K)

ok so I killed the snek and it put me on the other side of the valley where the bridge first broke, but seeing as Im a retard and fell off, how the fuck do I get back there?

WHAT DO YOU MEAN I CAN'T PUMP 20,000 SOULS I JUST FARMED INTO MY KATANA SO I CAN ONE HIT THE BOSSES?

cute trap

Attached: 1529085354849.jpg (1200x675, 99K)

You get gud, also you can but the dancing dragon mask which lets you upgrade attack power without needing to kill bosses in the very late game.

Can you unlock all the bosses in a single play through?

Firecrackers and Spear can mess him up, just be careful when you throw out the spear because he can often just attack right through it.

Found her there but she's not doing any upgrades...

This desu, its been the worst fanbase for over half a decade now and its good to see them eat shit. Best part is that its caused by an actually fun game

You can't

So what actually affects Dragonrot? Is it abusing of resurrection or is it everytime you actually die and show that huge red kanji on the screen?

Neat, thank you. I did look for some way up there but ended up bumping in to a monkey next to an item (tree wine or something). There's another item through a big opening overhead there that I can't figure out how to reach, and that whole area feels like a boss arena.

No, you cannot.

From Ashina Castle there's a path in the back near the pond that leads to a shrine. From the shrine, it should be obvious which way to go.

Dying and dying alone causes dragonrot but it literally doesn't matter because you just pop the cure when you want to continue an npcs questline

fuck, there wernt any important items over there was there?

No, the shura ending boss is unique to the ending. You need 2 play through to catch em all.

All the way around the back of the castle, over the bridge the salt eavesdrop guys are on.

So when exactly am I supposed to eavesdrop on Emma and Isshin to unlock additional ending path? I killed Owl, but Emma remains in Kuro's room no matter how much I rest or talk to anybody. Or was I supposed to go there after killing Owl but before resting even once and I fucked it up? This fucking game I swear.

Keep playing for a bit and she will.

Your sword never does serious health damage you fucking nigger. You upgrade your health and damage throughout the game but it only barely balances out with the tougher bosses.

Don't encourage him by entertaining his delusions that he should be playing the game like dark souls

I did the whole kite thing and i'm there but don't know what to do, it's dead end?

Attached: 2019.03.26-15.23.png (1920x1080, 2.25M)

This isn't guaranteed, he can actually react to you as you're falling before you're in range for the deathblow. Getting the presence upgrades obviously helps but I had at least 1 when I tried it and still was spotted.

Except I'm talking about the physical dash unless you're saying the umbrella can just block everything

Okay but like jump how? I've tried jumping into and away and no matter what I get hit on that shit move unless I mist which is stupid since he's one of the easier bosses just a damn damage sponge

Okay so I killed the training dummy. Do I get another training dummy?

no best you can do is the purification ending you get all bosses except last two from shura/bad ending

you can make save back up before shura do those bosses and reload thats what i did

I think there might've been a divine grass but nothing too important

Head a little further back in the little opening between the two crawling spots, there's a wall you can wall jump on.

>That armored knight
ROBERRRRRRRRRTTTTT

how cancer is ng+? is it even worth doing with how hard the base game already is

Attached: 1479901498271.png (247x786, 175K)

Yes. You fucked it up. Welcome to Fromsoft questlines

>oh my god i can't do it guyz is so huuuur
OHMYGODI'MSOCHEESED!
Are you perhaps retarded?

Where does the path divides? I'm on pc so I can make save back ups to get both endings

Okay thanks

is there something like this for sekiro yet?zkjellberg.github.io/dark-souls-3-cheat-sheet/
I am at the final boss and want to start a new playthrough doing all the shit i missed

Attached: 1496286631773.jpg (425x450, 168K)

That was a person user.

Fuck I knew I missed something, never found demon of hatred, can I still fight it after killing sword saint isshin?

Yeah but for some bosses like the demon of hatred it is better to go for vitality rather than posture so it does matter to get better damage.

shura is a boss? Or what?

Look down, if there's nothing there, you probably haven't progressed enough. Come back at a later time.

How do I use Double Ichimonji effectively? The recovery is so slow that I almost always get hit after using it.

get the dried heart
if you have it, the serpent should be sleeping below you
then you plunging attack him and execute

Is 9 necklaces the max in 1 run? I have 8 and 3 beads and can't for the life of me think where it could be because the only thing I have left is the last boss.

Any tips for killing Headless?

When Owl asks you to betray Kuro.

Its optional but you can add another debuff on you which makes non-perfect deflects do chip damage. Also its not really that bad

If you don't want spoilers just keep playing the game, you'll know when to go back there. If you doprogress through sunken valley until snek appears, when he appears do a drop attack

Kuro is not a trap you goddamn degenerates.

that resurrection power bauble is shit
should've been exp bauble

Its 10, there are 40 beads

i didn't eavesdrop when emma was visiting isshin, am i fucked out of that ending or can i make her go back somehow?
is the divine dragon a point of no return?

bros my lady butterfly is different

Attached: 1538118131481.png (745x685, 704K)

Where the fuck is Isshin? Killed Geni and saved the shota but I've been all over this castle gate region and haven't found shit besides the Ashina skill tree guy.

Purple gourd (or pacifying agent) + Divine confetti.

All anyone can tell you friend, attacking them enough dispels the slow down shit

I gave the loli the two dragon permisons and now she's just writhing in pain, no matter how many times I rest, is this normal? I haven't activated the incence yet

Fight near the boss's right side (non flaming hand side) when you hear the noise/see the danger kanji, jump sideways away from him. Easy to dodge as long as you don't go ham and animation lock yourself

he is a shota though

Use the malcontent whistle if you have it because its stuns them for 5 seconds and you can r1 the to death. Otherwise confetti

I think so as long as you dont go to NG+

Use confetti

You're welcome, mate

Think so
Yes

He's a shota, which is better.

do incense then come back

You may have missed a miniboss somewhere around ashina castle who is permadead. I missed a lone shadow fucker who was at the great serpent shrine around the time that the ministry started attacking but before the full invasion. There are two beads behind two different hidden walls. There's also one at poison pool.

Huh guess I haven't explored everything.

No, you killed her, you monster. How could you?

im having trouble beating the chained guy at the beginning. he takes so many hits to knock the health down and he one shots me. shit is annoying. I've tried about 5 times I am pretty sure I can beat it if I try more just want to know if there are any tips. I think dodging left/right is better than dodging back, he seems to be able to grab you pretty easily though

You can use it to break some hyper armor attacks.

i maxed out before final boss

>>/vg/

Hes sitting in a room nearby that you can get to from the rooftop follow the smoke signals dummy

Your entire post is devoid of purpose. You are not disagreeing with anything I've said and you're not arguing with my "he needs to git gud" statement.
You have contributed nothing relevant to this discussion.

open the window across from the staircase in kuro's room, go outside and make a right. he's in that tower.

Kuro tells you to follow to go out one window. Turn right from there and you should see two towers. The one furthest from you is where Isshin is.

Anyone have the breakdown on what NG+ changes yet?

he is a genuine cute shota which makes it even better

Attached: 1553641757279.jpg (1200x1115, 265K)

Use the fire arm on him

Jumping away is better than dodging against that guy, dodging is very situational in general in this game. Drop your Souls habits and youll have a much easier time

Drop deathblow from above to even the odds. Then use firecrackers to give you time to use the advanced isshin style chopping art and double bonk him on his noggin. Use mikiri to counter his deadly kick, and keep on the offensive. The camera in that tiny room is the hardest thing about the fight.

where to get more snap seed ?

Just got the senpou style and kind of at a dead end now, where to go? I haven't killed the big white ape but it doesn't seem like there would be a path after him

Why isn't there a map for this shit yet

can block sooner than you think, was able to use double ichimonji literally the entire game for every fight. don't try to dodge away, just block

giant ape is guarding a critical item

I think it just says that he moved over to the serpent shrine

ape leads to a key item

Have you looked around in the Abandoned Dungeon?

Fuck me, I went in the left tower and found the note which sent me on a wild goose chase, thank you Emma
thanks, found the old fuck

There's a way to abuse his AI so he doesn't attack at all and you can slowly chip his life away. Other than that, fire works pretty well and throwing oil first makes it stronger

Fight the big bad at the top of Ashina Castle. When you return to temple, you should see a bell in front of the big statue. Ring a ding ding.

I'm going in to NG+ now. I haven't found and clear data but how does attack power scale? Should I keep buying skills or invest points in attack power trough the mask?

yeah I just saw that there are several tools before him I only got two so far along with the grappling hook I guess I need to backtrack a bit and find that

;_; would any user consider buying me sekiro for the Xbox
Sorry to ask

Learn his deflection timings. Try not to get backed into a corner.
Try to punish him if he whiffs an attack, a little bit of vitality damage goes a long way.

Genichiro, fight in Ashina castle

How to dodge his special thrust attack? The one he does right after jump attack. I tried dodging left, right and back, all hit me.

I haven't played souls since 3 came out I feel like I'm playing this like an assassins creed game. nothing is difficult except these big guys I can't block though the hammer ones you can just drop onto.

>xbox
the controller literally gave me carpal tunnel with this game, I IMPLORE you to play with literally anything else. Souls games were not fucking designed for that god damn controller

>IT WAS ISSHIN ALL ALONG
r-reee

Attached: 1457076285000.jpg (500x494, 49K)

I thin the patch made Genichiro much stronger, none of the cheese strats work anymore

Mikiri counter.

;) Sent send feet pics

deflect or use mikiri counter if you have it.
if you don't have it, get it.

You counter it with L + B

sent ;)

How you can fight reliably those poison hat guys? They block fucking everything on me.

Use the Axe prosthetic.

If you have mikiri counter, dash into him. It takes a while to get the timing right. In his second phase btw, he'll do a sweep instead.

Axe the fuckers. I hate them so much.

There are 3 tools in the past thing

Get the mikiri counter skill, it's absolutely mandatory, I can't imagine getting through the game without it.

Some of the early minibosses seemed pretty spongy, I'm pretty certain you'll want to start investing into attack power when you have what you want.

Personally I wasted so many skill points on useless skills to the point where I'd rather just start another NG. If you think your build sucks I'd probably start over

How so? I've played all Souls games on xbox controllers just fine

The only things you should be dodging in this game are grab attacks, and you should always dodge them by getting as far away from the boss as is necessary. Even then, your jump is better at protecting you from damage than your dodge.
Everything that isn't a grab (and some projectiles) should be getting deflected or countered.

>Have trouble with the purple fucks.
>Boss fight against one + his friend in a cramped room.
Fucking bullshit.
I'll kill them, but holy fuck this is just unfair.

MIKIRI COUNTER
Heads up on his lightning phase, he does that thrusting attack first every time, so counter that as well.

Can I beat the first boss/is it even worth trying?

The very first one that cuts off your arm

>he doesn't cheese
imagine thinking you are some kind of symurai that has to fight honorably

He can still do the thrust attack in second phase, he just doesn't do the sweep at all until second phase

Those blue guys in Ashina Castle are pretty tough. You really have to get good huh.

Attached: 1445060447410.png (631x540, 509K)

Alright, I've just killed the bull so I'm exploring Ashina Castle right now, suppose the Axe is there. Thanks anons

Creep in through the door near the idol, can backstab the normal one

If you're talking about the one in the dojo. Crouch and turn left immediately, deathblow his friend and puppeteer.

you can stealth the one in the corner
use puppeteer, make a friend :)

It's possible.
Some jew distracts you and he cuts your arm anyway. You just get a different line of dialouge.

how the fuck do you not realize you can backstab one of them before the fight and even puppeteer his buddy

did you get the bell from the old woman
that's where the axe is

You can, you only get a slightly different cutscenes though and no trophy afaik so no point except peen

You missed it.

Attached: 1483395203158.png (268x256, 117K)

Mikiri counter this no pants wearing asses.

man, how the fuck do I beat god damn lady butterfly

I CAN parry before you reply with that shit. I literally parry all her god damn close range moves, I get chipped away at by the odd attack or shuriken, and then in her second phase it's the god damn magic shuriken things that I cannot avoid while also trying to fight her.

Axe is in the hirata estate hidden in a shrine along the main path where some guys can be eavesdropped.

In the Hirata Estate?

Shit, I've been exploring everything

Attached: genichiro.webm (1280x720, 2.92M)

right after beating that guy, I explored all through the forest, killing all the monks, monkeys, got sculptur idol in that temple and I don't know where to go from here.

Saw one of those terror shamans and NOPE'd out of there, same with the well the game starts in

>In the Hirata Estate?
yeah

Run around like a retard when she shoots butterflies.
The shuriken also helps knock her down when she's jumping around.

Axe is in Hirata. Backtrack through Ashina outskirts. Head to the area just before the enemy with the mortar. Tucked into the corner is a wounded man and his crazy mom. She gives you a bell. Take that bell back to the dilapidated temple and talk to the scultper, then interact with the Buddha statue on the left

learn nightjar slash, spam that move on her. that's how I beat her

Did you already meet Kuro and defeat Genichiro?

The game tells you shinobis are supposed to fight dirty so cheese away.

Attached: 1553490957220.png (2560x1440, 1.42M)

>big bad at the top of Ashina Castle
Something other than Genichiro?

r1 spam, but not too fast. if you see a regular guard effect, r1 again. if she deflects, l1. this works wonders on most human enemies, especially butterfly and genichiro.

>Run around like a retard when she shoots butterflies.

yeah I learned to do that. it's the ones she has out when she's wanting to be up close in melee

Cool, thanks. Another question. The Mikiri Counter work with the spear assholes?

It's not cheese if it's literally how you're supposed to play the game you idiots

I run away for those two.
She usually pops them out before attacking, so you know not to engage.

You can block the butterflies

It's designed specifically for spear assholes.

indeed it is
youtube.com/watch?v=YIjtl7YopEA

Drag him back down the stairs and hide on the gate until you lose aggro and backstab him when he goes back up the stairs
Now you only need one deathblow

Geni is impossible for me since the new patch
Fuck this shit

you bet your ass it does

That's precisely what it's for
Note it works on ANY thrust though. Including purple ninja kick

this, the game's marketing was constantly saying to kill "cleverly" and "ingeniously"
you're supposed to come up with bullshit strategies

>NG+
>Defeat Owl 2
>still no all bosses trophy
what the fuck gives, I killed the 6 headless, both Shichimans, do I really have to go back in this one save and do fucking Shura? I already did that in another save.

So how did you guys enjoy the game overall?
Do you like more human-like bosses and focus on parrying and posture?
I feel like the idea is right, if you're more aggressive and good you can kill a boss before his health bar depletes. And with most major bosses in this game I was actually forced you learn their combos unlike souls games where most bosses were doable without that and it felt much better to defeat them.

Attached: 20190326224903_1.jpg (1920x1080, 391K)

I suppose it was obvious. Yea it's Genchiro, but if you're like me, you would've expected genchiro revenge much later in the game.

So you can, huh, thanks friends.

Because the first time i tried it the guy was facing the doorway, i must have alerted him somehow.

After you parry his jump wait a little moment, like half a second and then spam B, it werks every time but it's important that you wait that little second or the counter will fail.

Spear thrusts yeah. The purple niggas danger kick also count so you can counter that shit

there's 3 shichimans

So the rice loli gave me some rice for Kuro but he is gone. I fucked up didn't I?

Awesome thanks just beat him now, still confused how some people consider him so hard when I honestly had way more issue with Owl

>The feeling is not entirely unpleasant...

Delete this.

1 attack and dodge, 1 attack and dodge, always repeat that dont parry, her second phase becomes a joke doing this.

What changed?

15 with 19 vitality. I grinded 3 attack points to kill it and the wrath demon. I still think it was worth it.

I killed all of them. One in Fountainhead, one in the 2ape, one in the dungeon, I misremembered but now I member.

Took a while for the game to click for me but when it did, I had a really great time. Sword Saint was such a good fight man throwing 2 lightning spears back to back at him was absolute kino

Attached: 529854963937968130.gif (128x124, 106K)

>both Shichimans
there are 3 one in the dungeon, one in the fountainhead, and one appears in the spot where the double apes are after killing them.

I've been stuck on O'rin of the water for 3 days now. Probably died to her about 50 times at least and i still cannot beat her in the poise battle. I even cheese her first health bar by throwing a ceramic shard at her to stealth it and i can't fucking do it. na d before someone says it, yes i know you can jump on her head. I just suck and can't parry her or jump on her head consistently. Fuck this shit.

They do damage through your block

Attached: FuckThisBitch.png (1440x900, 2.48M)

how do you spam firecrackers like that? whenever i use them i have to wait like 30 seconds to do it again or the enemies just ignore it

How do you grind attack points?

If you're getting chipped away at you obviously don't know how to parry my dude.
Stop getting hit by "the odd attack or shuriken", you can parry those. Block them, even.
Dodge her phantom butterflies. Be mindful of your positioning in the arena. If she summons too many just run behind a pillar. Otherwise play it just like the first phase, get enough hits on her that she doesn't regen posture fast, throw a shuriken at her when she's in the air, and deflect all of her attacks as usual.
When she summons illusions just run away until they go away.

If you think you can't dodge her magic while also keeping the pressure on, you're wrong.

Is it the new 'hit him until he dies'?

use divine confetti

I was told you could dive, when the fuck do you get the diving skill?

Emma and kuro /ss/ sfm when

She's weak to poison, like really weak.
Use the poison prosthetic.

Depends but you might be able to salvage it and get one of two endings if you keep imteracting with rice. I'm assuming you already gave scroll right? Eventually, she disappears into hall of illusions. The whole rice for kuro thing might be a bit of an obstruction though.

The first part of the Genichiro fight is pure rhythmic skill and kino. The second part is gay.

I used all of mine on headless early on
I guess i'll try that

>there's an achievement for getting all skills
i'm never getting plat, am i? what the fuck, grinding out one level after NG+ takes like five hours and I have the entirety of the Mushin tree to go plus some of the monk tree.

after corrupted monk i think

yes but it makes sense in context since so many people play like it's dark souls and try to grind bosses down instead of getting in their face

You can block her kunai

I'm still playing through the game early. It has the same problems with the big bosses that all From games have, lingering hits and kinda questionable hitboxes.
Game's awesome tho.

The camera is shit but you'll fight tens of enemies with the same moves. It's worth it to learn them.

>Ashina Cross
>need to get into a walking-speed stance
>costs Spirit Emblems
>costs TWO (2) Spirit Emblems

Attached: 1450918676643.png (279x264, 126K)

How many combat styles tree skills are there? got 3 now
Is the ashina one good?

no
you need to stay aggressive or he will regen his posture and it will take much longer to get the death blow
if you just sit back and wait for an opportunity then you will have to deplete his health, which takes much longer

6 in total iirc
ashina one is very good

>caring about Kuro when the monk loli is the real endgame and you go on a journey together with her in the best ending

Attached: 1547400191228.jpg (1920x1080, 119K)

I just need to know if it's all in one save. If it is, I need to do NG++ for the fucking Shura ending.

Those things are only a problem if you're trying to dodge roll directly into attacks instead of deflecting.

It's the best one. Get the passive skills straight away.

It's the first time I've enjoyed a From Soft game since The Adventures of Cookie and Cream.

Attached: 1465728448219.jpg (263x263, 25K)

Spirit Emblem cost on the arts should not be a thing.

Yep, biggest fucking regret getting that. Ichimonji is all you really need desu

Looks cool though

Shota>loli

Wait till the latter parts of the game. It doesn't give anyhing useful, and theres's only a useless shortcut behind him. I'd even advise to get the terror resistance gourd to kill them.
Headlesses are the worst fucking enemies for me except the last two bosses.

post cute boy feet

the double ichomonj from ashina style is widely considered to be one of the best combat arts in the game

Sometimes those attacks hit me while jumping, the bull was an arduous fight because of that. I suppose the kick will be more helpful

Isn't she pregnant?

what's the best ending for my boy kuro? i want to protect him.

Just got the monk skill tree, anything good there?

Hilarious. I actually noticed the invisible monkey by accident. I was moving around on a rooftop then I suddenly bumped into something invisible (he actually has geometry you can't walk through him) so I started slashing and killed him. Was pretty great because I thought the monkey noises you keep hearing was just ambient sound design specifically for the fight.

Just starting, do I have to use the Key Items somehow specifically or do I just need to have them and talk to people?

Which Prosthetic items are good, I have the shuriken/axe/flamethrower atm and they seem... ok I guess? Havent been needing them much.
How exactly does Posture work? If I Parry attacks it builds up enemy posture bar until it breaks? I can just keep parrying until the deathblow thing pops up or should be whittling away their health?

All of the combat arts/skills I've unlocked so far seem pretty meh, I'm mainly using r1 attacks and parry, are there good ones?

praying strikes is pretty good imo, does decent posture damage and staggers most regular enemies. the passives increase drop rates.

>need 41 skill points for all skills
the fuck do i do bros

Fire is good for three to four free attacks.
Stay far away from him until he attacks, go to punish him and then get the fuck out. If you're having trouble here, you're in for a lot of pain latter.

the one where you instruct him in the ancient and honored path of shudo

You can kill the bull very easily without dodging or jumping or deflecting anything.
You just hold circle and run towards his ass and nothing he does will hit you.

This is false. Activision only handled western publishing. The game was self funded and self published in Japan by From. They didn't take any money or direction from Activision.

Final skill is pretty good for common enemies. There are two passives for higher drop rates and one more for longer lasting candies.

Purification ending.

x16 exp trainer.

No, it's just the clothes.
Kuro is in her heart.
>inb4 it leads to the Spirit Circle ending where to see Kuro again Sekiro needs to become his father

Considering how hard the last boss was, I'm not touching that shit yet.

This is relevant for the endings? Shit I thought I just fucked up her quest and not the entire game

So far it's neat. Like said though my main issues are questionable hitboxes and for the more movement heavy bosses lock on not staying locked on is frustrating. Main boss as an example is lady butterfly when she jumps over you.

Attached: __houraisan_kaguya_touhou_drawn_by_space_jin__bfc3634e44f57ef7fed3796e6f528bb8.jpg (1180x1400, 234K)

It was a great moment, I knew exactly what he meant though.

Finding him in the hall of illusions was great too.

Well timed parries fuck enemy posture, otherwise you take posture damage. The higher the enemy health is the faster they recover posture so you do want to hit them too

Get mikiri counter from the skill tree

no, wolf
you are the monkeys

So is the Firecracker the most OP item in the game? That's the impression i'm getting. More than halfway through and still haven't found it!

Did anyone else here have trouble with the first corrupted monk fight? I’ve had an okay time with most everything else (save those that require confetti), but that monk just felt like a hard roadblock. It seemed like the attacks I landed only did damage 1/10th of the time. And not only that, if so was too close it felt like some attacks didn’t parry properly. I ended up looking up a stray to go full Dark Ouls defensive shitter and hit Mortal Draw on openings.

>Best part is that its caused by an actually fun game

And that it's FROM themselves who made the game.

Crow merchants

You buy it literally from the first shop you encounter.

you are missing 2 boss from the bad ending gotta do ng++

>Sekiro’s plot was written by Miyazaki, but the actual script for the game was handled by someone else, with Miyazaki overseeing and writing select parts, namely the opening sequence and cutscenes, and a few unimportant NPCs. He says that the NPCs in question ended up particularly distinct, and that people might be able to figure out who they are.
So carp guy and who more? Fattie abducted monk? O'rin?

there's a Youtuber named Epic Name Bro and he's making a walkthrough. He's also really good at explaining lore. I really enjoyed his Bloodborne walkthough.

Its a vitality fight which are almost always long and boring

see

Help Kuro or Obey iron code? How does either option affect?

The Purple shield prosthetic is really useful too. You can block all attacks with no terror buildup.

Now that the dust has settled, was Sekiro too easy?
NG+7 without Kuro's Charm is the only way to play without falling asleep.

The fucking screams those dudes make is goddamn hilarious.

I honestly didn't use it much because I'm too fearful to get punished, but I didn't use parry much in Dark Souls for the same reason. No trouble jumping above most sweep attacks though, but they're easier to see coming, I think.

Attached: 1524645761735.png (1551x1729, 3.49M)

Based and abortionpilled.

I figured that out on my fifth try.
As long as he was doing his sweep attack and not the running one it was simple enough.
When he charges towards you, the Firecrackers don't always work because I'm guessing he is locked into an attack animation, and therefore unstunnable.

it doesn't matter but if you obey iron code you get a cute interaction

Based and ricepilled

Nice.. i'm really non-observant in this game. The loot and progression is not intuitive to me like other From Soft titles
ok i take a look

if you choose Help Kuro all you get is Sekiro going (I can't break the Iron Code) and you have to choose Obey Iron Code anyway

It's been like 5 days since release and no one's made a Sen Throw webm yet even though PC players could just hack in the money. I'm disappointed.

What the fuck are you talking about. I am a huge DSdrone and I couldn't be happier with Sekiro.

You can use confetti for more damage. You can also cheese it be using firecrackers, dust and snapseeds.

Wait until latter in the game. I saw her before getting to chained ogre, and I killed her at 2/3 of the game. There's really no reason to suffer with shitty attack and hit points against her.

sometimes the doujins write themselves

TOO FAR MY DUDE

Honestly people who did not finish this game should not be here. I finished the game without any guides or help just fine.

Attached: 1547823533577.png (220x220, 40K)

Don't listen to the other guys. One option ends the game after a boss another option throws at least 4-5 hours more of gameplay

What combat arts should I use? I haven't found much use beyond the first for hitting multiple enemies.

You just need to have the item to get any relevant options.
Every prosthetic is pretty good, and they all can be upgraded to be even better. The basic forms are all very situational, but later on you'll get upgrades that are more general purpose.
When you deflect an enemy attack, you deal posture damage. When you block an enemy attack, YOU take posture damage but no health damage. Enemies can block and deflect your attacks, too.
It's really hard to whittle down an enemy's lifebar. It's much easier to break their posture and get a deathblow. For some mini-bosses, it's either better or just as easy to focus on health damage, though.
Posture regens while you hold block without getting hit. Posture regen for you AND enemies is based on health. If an enemy regens posture too fast, you can do a little bit of damage to their health and then focus on their now weaker posture.

Combat arts are very useful. A lot of them are great for getting little bits of health damage on bosses, or for doing comparatively serious posture damage.

Honestly nobody gives a shit

Outskirts.
There's a high peak right there, grapple up.

It's the same place, man.
And you'll have to get past him at some point. It's not that hard, but you'll need some confetti and anti terror items (the latter being common as rocks in the dungeon).

Ichimonji double is honestly the best. Floating passage for style

double ichimonji for efficiency, high monk for coolness

I beat him before I got firecrackers. They're not necessary, they just help a little.

Is the bell for the giant carp before the cave or in the cave?

Lol I finally gave up!!!
It was taking me so long to progress I just stopped caring about spoilers and now I'm here, watching speedruns, etc. Neat experience desu

Some enemy attack animations can't be interrupted, I've found.

floating passage is fantastic

no I havent

Carp guy is the only NPC Miyazaki worked on directly, he made a wierdo cause he couldn't get patches in

I honestly thought I wasn't going to be able to beat this game after struggling so much early on, now on the second play-through it feels extremely easy despite taking more damage and dealing less. Bosses just feel so easy to parry now, the worst enemies in the game for me are the ninja minibosses, I still always fuck up deflecting their kick combo.

The whole git gud thing has never been more true than it is in Sekiro.

Where's the best place to get loads of confetti?

Beat Genichiro so I'm running around collecting items and minibosses I missed. Where can I go next? Only found Sunken Valley to Gun Fort and the Abandoned Dungeon. Did I miss any path?

Who stabbed Sekiro after the Lady butterfly fight?
I haven't seen any hints to it.

Attached: 1541137724233.jpg (600x593, 41K)

The problem is all enemies just attack through it

i think those blue samurai in the castle drop them

It cant possibly end the game, I mean the oprions after I beat Genichiro

The dungeon splits into two ways, one of which goes to Mt. Kongo which is a whole other area.

Abandoned Dungeon leads into two different paths.

floating passage is also good for causing burn when you get the skill that lets you imbue your fan/flame prosthetic effects onto your sword

Yes.

Parrying is pretty easy so far, but the tracking on some of the grab attacks is nuts, I keep getting grabbed. I'm suppose to be dodging these right? I feel like I'm getting grabbed out of dodges a lot.

Its in one of the endings but if you want spoilers its Owl

First corrupt monk is shit anyway. You don't need confetti to damage her either.

Wrong choice

if you mean when you're talking to kuro after beating genichiro, you cant even choose the other option, if you try he just says
>i cant do that
and you have to select the other one

it's weak as shit even with 100 million gold

Ichimonji is grossly overrated. High Monk is the best posture damaging combo in the game thanks to its safety and special properties like i-frames on the beginning of initial jump or retarded tracking. Praying Strikes Exorcism is solid too. Shadowrush is one of a few Talisman using arts worth shit.

It depends on where you come in from. You can directly reach the window out to the roof from the stairs leading to the castle thanks to the bamboo bridges the ninjas left, but coming in from that route means his buddy is waiting by the doorway to ambush you.

You can lure him out from there by throwing a ceramic piece.

You have a jump button to dodge also, keep that in mind

which is why ichimonji and high monk/senpou kicks are actually pretty good, they have the ability to flinch almost everything

Probably a stupid question
But does the timing for deathblows the same for everyone?
Like can i practice mikiri with the immortal and apply it everywhere

Ashina Castle - Upper Floor Antechamber. The drop rate is abysmal though. Try finding the Demon Bell first. It puts you into "hard mode" and increases drop rate by a lot, but you can dispel it at any time.

I've uninstalled the game in a fit of rage after getting killed by Lady Butterfly over 20 times. She was my first "real boss" and now that I've thought about it a little more I think she's actually way harder a challenge than I should've tackled at that point.
Is that right or should I just stop playing altogether before having a stroke?

How do i get scrap iron and gun powder and shit
What enemies specifically

maybe the fatties that can randomly armor through your attacks, floating passage is great for bosses because it does chip damage through block and can't be deflected until the last swing

Anyone else hate navigating this?

Attached: 814380_20190327165824_1.png (1920x1080, 3.47M)

You can also go through Ashina Depths

she's completely optional so you can do it later

It's better to sprint to avoid them, the timing on just side-stepping is extremely tight.

You should be able to beat her without any upgrades so yeah.

Thanks. This just made me want to do another ending.
Which ending is it? Return or purify?

Attached: 1549889234394.png (750x778, 859K)

Can you proceed here?

Attached: 20190327175844_1.jpg (1920x1080, 220K)

The poison hat guys have given me constant scrap iron in the sculpture of the Ashina Castle Gate

I got a lot while I was farming Divine Confetti at the Antechamber with Demon Bell mode on. Shit was insane.

there's no timing for deathblows, just press r1 when you see the red orb

if you're the kind of guy who easily gets tilted and rages then the game isn't for you
that said, you can come back to her at any time, she's about second boss material

Your dodge doesn't make you immune to getting grabbed.
You want to dodge so that you end up in a position where the attack isn't going to hit you. This includes sometimes pressing jump instead of dodge.

i loved high monk but i had to switch to ichimonji for the posture recovery effect on the final boss, i wouldn't blame people for just using it exclusively the entire game

buy it.

I cheesed her second try. Avoid spoilers if you want to beat her legit.

There's a hill to the right of the bridge in the boss arena. If you get her on the path to the bridge and then jump on top of the hill she'll always slowly walk to the left to get around to you. You can keep falling down to her and get two slashes in and then jump back up on the hill over and over again until she's dead. Divine confetti makes it quicker and you can farm confetti by the blue robed samurai in the castle.

Oh shit I am retarded. It took me a second to realize who the Demon of hatred is.

nope, some thrusts are very quick others very delayed

I havent unlocked the monk stuff aside from the first skill but it does destroy poise. Double's posture recovery saved my life multiple times in my playthrough thats why its my favorite

Can I just get a quick run down of any missables or sequence breaking shit that would cause me to miss a boss?

Twice dead

Why did inosuke's mom die despite using the cure this is bullshit bro

Posture recovery is way more efficient by just blocking for a second outside of boss' immediate range or after he does a big move.

later

There's the three RATS in the Ashina Reservoir that drop iron regularly. Might be something better later. Samurai with guns drop powder.

only with speedrun strats (glitches)

She's old as fuck m8.

There's a glitch where you inflict poison on yourself and then jump right before dying to poison. The aim is to die to poison just before you hit the ground and then you can resurrect on the ground below. This game's version of Fall Control skips

Try jumping

Attached: 0e9.jpg (600x600, 30K)

How? If you just parry her, she goes down in no time.

19 vitality and 18 attack power

I tried to do every extra thing in the game before finishing it.

Search up the purification ending guide and follow it.

I found Genichiro harder than Butterfly though I didn't do either of them until I had basically gone all the way through both abandoned dungeon areas and down the serpent shrine place so I had a lot of health.

she's a blind old senile woman living alone in a broken house in the winter

DSP fought one enemy in the intro to the game, said fuck it, and then ran straight to Genichiro.
Just don't do that and you should be fine.

The latter boss (specifically the last optional one and the last boss) have too much hit points/posture and have very hard to dodge combos doing a fuckton of damage. In this war of attrition, it's too easy to fuck up a few times and lose a lot of gourds (if not your life).
Also, Sekiro is a bit slow to attack (specifically after a dodge) and it's somewhat painful against fast opponents. The lack of diverse fight styles hurts the game too.
Otherwise it's good. Will replay. I'm just a bit scared that from will continue to make harder and harder games.

some of you might have found it
but still there is a hidden room in ashina castle in the room with the 2 samurai dudes
just hug the wall with the stuff near it and it slides into the secret room
got a prayer bead in a chest and some other stuff

>hard to dodge
Don't try to dodge them then

>18 attack power
you must have grinded a shitload
i dont think you can get more than 14 from just killing bosses

What are some must have prosthetic upgrades? I have fire and firecracker upgrades

Just beat the horse general guy.
>Sekiro apologizes under his breath to Genichiro has he stabs the general to death
FEELS

She is, with Kuro.

Call me when the DLC that allows me to play as a hot kunoichi in tight leather comes out.

>need to farm mercury and lapis now

Attached: 1552533201532.png (790x767, 711K)

m8 you can only get attack power from bosses.

I did

Attached: 1549396994486.jpg (425x584, 48K)

the hirata estate has a similar hidden room

>in the room with the 2 samurai dudes
>just hug the wall with the stuff near it and it slides into the secret room

Attached: 1547443732375.jpg (446x604, 48K)

A hottie with kissable feet

You can use the mask

So far I've only found two secret walls. That one and the one in Hirata Estate.

Eavesdrop the guys before the ogre.
Go get the young lords charm from the old lady.
Actually listen to the dialogue and use your brain.

I dont understand how so many people are lost on how to make the ogre fight easier. The game beats you over the head with this shit. This game is not nearly as cryptic with its hints on where to go and what to do like souls is, yet youd think it was fucking Demon Souls levels of obtuse with how many people miss Hirata Estate and dont take the multiple "use fire" hints.

And no, you dont get more weapons. You get more prostetchics, each with an upgrade path, combat skills, ninjutsus, and you upgrade the sword damage. But this isnt a game about making a build like dark souls is. They sacrificed build diversity so that they could have an easier time balancing the game and making the game longer. Content wise the game is much longer than souls because it doesnt have a fuckton of weapons and stats and shit to balance encounters around.

You can only reach the bell post cave. To get by stealth as much as you can. If you get caught go up or down so that it misses and moves as much as you can while recoiled. Afterwards, there is a building you can hook on to. Going left on the roof you see a branch that lets you get to bell.

dragon mask allows you to trade 5 points for 1 attack

There are three masks fragments. One sold by a merchant at the entrance of the castle dungeon, one sold by a the pot merchants near the end of the game, and the last one somewhere in between. When you have all three of them, you can exchange five skill points for one attack upgrade.

you can get attack power with skill points after you complete the mask

Oh shit.

I only have two pieces of the mask. Where's the third? I'm at Isshin but haven't fought him yet.

yeah but that's time spent not attacking the boss. couldn't bring myself to just sit there holding block. it was never really an issue for most of the game as i mostly just intentionally let my posture break on most attacks when it was close to filling, but the final boss does so much posture damage that i found myself getting massacred if i let it get broken

you can't farm lapis, NG+ is the only way

I already did Shura on another save. Guess it's all gotta be one save.

you buy them from both pot vendors and the dungeon merchant

Thanks guys, but I finished the game. I was just trying to make a joke.

I've only found the first pot vendor then apparently.

This. It makes them mostly useless against bosses.

Fuck off retard, the game is a million times better than souls games because it has 1 weapon. It made the combat actually good.
Another liar. Game was entirely funded by FromSoft.

second one is at the palace

Can you kill all of lady butterflies ads? When I try she just replaces the ones I kill. Then her posture goes down because I have to spend time avoiding the shit that comes flying at me afterwards.

Anyone done no charm + demon bell run yet? I just got through Gyoubu but I'm starting to feel like i'm not masochistic enough for this shit. It only gets worse right?

To be fair not all combat arts cost spirit emblems, only some of the more powerful ones do.

How 2 headless?

>it makes them not completely broken against bosses
ftfy

Attached: kek.webm (711x400, 2.94M)

Sekiro literally has way more content than any of their previous games lol

Do a bit of health damage to the boss so their posture doesn't regen, that gives you the opportunity to back off and regain your posture for a second without losing progress in the fight.

How am I supposed to get past them?

Attached: 814380_20190327171031_1.png (1920x1080, 3.35M)

Ah, will try this thanks. The tutorials said to dodge grabs, and even when I do (side dodge a forward lunge grab thing) sometimes the enemy readjusts and grabs me anyway.

I'm just going to make this easy for you. Never worry about killing any of them, and you don't need snap seeds. Just wait until she turns them all into projectiles. ALWAYS stay locked on lady butterfly during these sequences. Once the projectiles are in the air start sprinting in a big circle around her and all the projectiles will miss you. Rinse and repeat each time it happens. You will literally never get hit.

Attached: 1553641312466.png (419x275, 140K)

There's one in Kuro's room that takes you directly to the dilapidated temple and one near bell demon that takes you to ashina castle

where?

backstab, bloodsmoke, backstab, bloodsmoke, backstab, bloodsmoke, backstab, 1v1

>still no posts on paheal

He's talking about the room with the two SITTING samurai. Between the two samurai suits there is a white banner. Hug it.

OK, dodge, parry or deflect, smartass.

Some of the shittiest ones, you mean.
Only Shadowrush worth the emblem cost because it's the best gap closer in whole game with built-in protection.
High monk doesn't cost emblems and it's one of the best anti-posture attacks in whole game.
I'm on NG+ and Dragon Flash is LITERALLY worthless because of emblem cost. You will waste your entire pool sooner than you kill a single mob worth shit.

I'll give it a try. Thanks user.

You don't kill the illusions. Either use a snap seed to dispel them and keep attacking her, or run around the arena until they disappear.
You should be able to kill her before she summons more, or at least you'll be able to get enough health damage in that you don't lose a ton of progress while running around.

use the puppet master ninjutsu

Also another piece of advice, don't worry about posture damage with lady butterfly. There might be someone who disagrees with me on this but I think it's one of the few fights in the game that is more reliable to do vitality damage. It takes a while, but she has certain attacks that are always safe to attack on so you can whittle her vitality down each time. That's how I beat her, she regains posture way too quickly to reliably try to posture damage her.

Fight them all you fucking pussy

Good thing you're posting the only good talisman art, and not even the one among the game's top tiers.

is it against the iron code to fuck your master?

There's a headless in the moat behind the castle, can I drain the water or something?

Parry and deflect mean the same thing in this game, and if you can do in consistently maybe you should just git gud.

no, you fight it underwater
it's honestly easier than fighting it on the ground

I know, which is why I said "secret" walls. Those have silhouettes on them and are shortcuts instead of treasure room entrances.

Anyway, I almost shit my pants when I took the Demon Bell one because I was exploring Senpou Temple early and thought it was the one that led back to the Dilapidated Shrine. Imagine my surprise when it led me to that headless fucker.

Posture damage is the way to go in the first phase. But in the second it's better to take your time and wittle her health down.

no
you can dive later

can you leave the second bell? I somehow the 2 mid bosses inside, pissed, ill have to kill them in ng+

Attached: 1538387950765.jpg (394x373, 25K)

here's your incredibly powerful blast bro

You can justify it by saying you're protecting his virginity

Farewell.

I can see it, but when I beat her I probably wasn't as confident with parrying as I am now. I'm at Isshin now so I bet lady butterfly would be far easier now since when I first fought her.

He deserves some rest after an eternity of being a rotting corpse with a giant centipede wiggling inside of him.

>tfw can never get the timing right to parry on those centipede fucks

Wow. It's like an unupgraded shuriken. Lame. Thanks anyway.

they're immortal, don't bother with them

Eat candy

how is he not evil

Only in the final area in the game, the fountainhead palace.

a bride.

Couldn't you do the same thing with Bite Down or the Tooth?

Does the game tell you when you're about to cross the point of no return?

Lads, just did the monkey business illusion and found the rice loli.

Where to next? I haven't run into this immortal monk everyone is talking about and I can't seem to find a route I missed earlier in the temple.

so he has to fuck me?

How do i kill the snake in the dark? I entered from the swamp, do i need to kill it from eslwhere just like the second one?

It is a boss area, come back to it later after you've gotten the items Kuro asks you to retrieve.

Don't listen to the guys who are saying you should focus on vitality damage, they're retarded.
The game literally tells you before the fight that you need to do SOME vitality damage so her posture stops regenerating so fast, but only an absolute idiot would try to kill her by whittling down her health. Honestly all you need is like two or three counter hits, a shuriken or two while she's jumping, and that's enough damage.
Focus on posture, get good at deflecting her basic attack pattern, and keep up the pressure.

Ichimonji and High Monk are still better since they give unique utility while Shadowrush can be replaced with shurikens or spear.

Beat Sword Saint and Demon. Have 3/4 beads....what am I missing? Also, can I still assemble the mask?

The fact that bosses have an actual unique finishing animations is so good, it's way better than them just falling over and disappearing into thin air.

Not so immortal now, are you bitch?

if you fight aggressively you can kill her before she even gets the chance to summon them

No. It only asks you if you want to go in to NG+ now or later. World state changes without warning

yes, because the enemies all hit like trucks

Have you cleared the Abandoned Dungeon? There are multiple paths you can take inside.

Never played any soulsborne game before this, a few questions for you niggas

- how does stealth work in this game? I've seen a video of one guy grappling around and getting stealth kills without alerting anyone but when I try it I aggro the entire section and have to wait for them to lose interest before doing it again

- does reviving and dying alot actually affect the story? I don't want a bad ending if I keep using the revive ability unless I absolutely need to

- where can you find the other upgrade paths? so far I only found the shinobi path (I just beat the chained ogre miniboss and I passed the shinobi hunter guy in the flashback segment section)
