What kind of archetype do you go for in a game

What kind of archetype do you go for in a game
I myself like a fighter, maybe with a bit or a focus on healing magic but I wouldn't fret it if it didn't have healing

I like healing and support, but with a focus on mobility and/or stealth
Playing resto druid is the most comfy shit because I get to be a healer that's mostly not locked into position and I get to stealth around enemies until my tank/team decides to engage so I don't need to hide behind them for fear of pulling mobs

Obviously pure healing doesn't work as well in single player games so I usually go for the support/tricky magic archetype

Jack of All Trades
Master of Nu'un

battlemage/red mage

Blue mage if it’s available always. Otherwise I gravitate toward characters that attack really fast with magically enhanced elemental damage that bypasses defense ex: illusionary weaponry in guild wars, elemental sns in monster hunter.

Martial Artist any chance I can get. Otherwise a buff-magic warrior.

Seer but i've only played one game that did it neat - xenoblade chronicles 1

Spellsword here.
Rogues and archers are faggots of the gay kind.

Rogue if the combat is not based on rolling dice or the like, battlemage if it is.

Whatever goes fast.

Whenever I play with my firends, I'm glad they like to play the non-dps roles since my usual strategy revolves around
>I'm going in!
>Aaaaahhhhh! I'm dying! Help me!

Low defense and high/burst damage so berserker or assassin sounds about right.

spellswords don't even know what they want to be and can't commit fully

the one who's the most annoying in each game.
Also rolling for 86.

33 here

can I join you, witch
i'm sure whatever I am I can be of use

Somewhere between necromancer and death knight. Generally I like magically focused melee characters with spells based on absorbing health. Maybe that's really specific and not an archetype of most games but that's what I like.

i go for adaptability builds, walks all streets but calls none home
dont use magic tho. fuck wizcucks and mageniggers

God damn do I wish my feral was Classic viable

This. If the game has any sort of advanced movement mechanic I'm all over that shit.

DOGS
INFINITE DOGS

Rangers, gunslingers, and sneaky/talky boys

ofcourse you can! we'll take over the world and uh make people our slaves n shit.

otherwise technomancer/conjurer/summoner/negromancer

>max luck archer

Liches and Necromancers need to be playable in more rpgs
