2B's main weakness is that her combo strings leave her heavily disadvantaged when they finish, which gives you ample opportunity to hit her back. Just blocking, countering and catching her strings with Reversal Edge will give you a step up on low-rank mashers.

Like it may sound shitty to say but having something like that push your shit in really hammers in the necessity of understanding the basics. Dont try to be complex at first when learning. Plenty of approaches are easy to counter.

SC was always more niche than Tekken, that's why.
Like, the SC serie is quite popular but it's not THAT popular either. it's in between.

Also, all the fags doing Libra of Soul now are going to have the easy mode, because the difficulty of this mode was reduced a lot during the last patch (a lot of people were having too much trouble finishing it. )
They won't experience the bullshit of the final Azwel fight and the final Zasalamel fight...Both fight took me like, 4 hours each, playing with Raph style. (also did the Azwel fight with the Geralt style, took me 2 hours this time, i wanted the good ending of the game so was forced to play it again.)

I know this is a bait thread, but 2B's options are ONLY daunting to fight if you have no idea what you're doing. Once you learn what her stances can go into, you realize that she's just another basic-tier character that has long strings.
Also, her combos may LOOK long and LOOK like they do a lot of damage, but at a low level, you probably just got hit with a million resets and didn't learn which way to block in the first few rounds, so she just kept abusing the same blockstrings. Wait until you fight an actual good Nightmare, and they hit you literally twice and half your health goes away, or a Talim that knows wall confirms in Soul Charge.
Just go into Training mode with 2B, record her strings, stances, and followups, and learn to block and punish with your main. It may seem annoying like

Either way, if you just started, your issues are less 2B related and more than you have no idea how to adapt to string based pressure.

I thought Azwel was going to be this super technical god character that only people who want to kill themselves would play... then I watched top 8 for a couple tournaments and saw them just spamming Muscle Buster. That shit is so corny, that low does WAY too much damage on normal hit. I wanted to main Azwel until I realized how one note he is. I feel like Nightmare is more complex in terms of how many tools you actually use in a real match.

Ok the off chance you're not baiting a lot of 2Bs shit (from when I played at least) isn't really that gay. Just keep her at long range if you can out range her and keep side walking to avoid the lasers and bullets. If you're a close range character, don't let her get away. If you see her dashing a lot then just use the Reversal Edge because all she can do out of it is get hit, especially at low ranks.

2b is annoying to fight, durring her dash, your safest move is RE, otherwise she has alot of combos that dont let you do much until they are done, her range sucks as well. Your best bet is to go to training, put the 2b on CPU and go to town until you know what moves do what.

Just play more and git gud, I don't really understand the point of this thread, the 2B players kick your ass because they played more.
