that's the way it is
They nailed the depressing vibe in that chapter
>camp is shit
>everyone is leaving
>arthur is losing weight
>coughes everytime
>reduced cores
>micah and dutch are assholes
Based
I've just reached Chapter 6 yesterday, weird that I see this thread.
Too bad thanks to the wonders of internet, I've been spoiled to hell and back, I would have been intersted to see my reaction if I had reached this part blind. It's still pretty good though.
Should have listened to Micah.
Surprisingly, spoilers don't ruin the game.
Why didn't they move into the caves themselves?
It had an escape route and everything.
>game came out 5 years ago
>complains about spoilers
Probably because of the lingering stench of shit, piss and death.
RDR2 was boring and everybody has forgotten it already
Is this from one of them warrior cats books you Americans seem to love so much?
Wasn't the place formerly from the Murfrees? They had a shitton of weird shit going on there.
I never wanna replay this chapter ever again.
>on second playthrough
>stopped near the end of chapter 2 everything is comfy and I have most all features unlocked
>go back to the game once or twice a week for a couple hours and explore around and cause shenanigans
>finding things I missed on my first playthrough and collecting everything and hunting every animal
>upgrading the camp and everyone is comfy and happy
Don't understand how people say it has no replay value I'm enjoying this way more than GTA or RDR1.
Fuck I miss him so much bros.
It's from a story where a gay shit-eating furfag from New Zealand travels to America to kidnap, repeatedly rape and eat pic related.
No, really.
>tfw playing the game after chapter 3
I wanna go back.
Chapter 5 was garbage and completely ruined the pace of the game.
i miss him too bro
Nah.
Yeah, it’s like whoever designed that level thought Uncharted was a good series.
>press left analog stick to walk
That’s when I knew Rockstar lost its way.
I didn't like it either. The whole thing felt a bit out of place.
I knew he wasn't going to survive since he didn't appear in RDR1 and wasn't even mentioned by name by John in any conversations. Still depressing though.
>get diagnosed
>start growing out all hair
anyone else think this was really fitting?
>pc still hasnt played rdr2
Don't forget to press cycle 2 times to wipe your horses ass
Same. Next time I play I might stop at Chapter 5.
i agree it felt pretty unnecessary to me, like killing the entire town in a shootout when you first rescue micah, or getting shot and taken prisoner by the o'driscolls to then just escape with no consequences to anything, i understand its a shooty game and they want their epic shooty missions and spectacles, but it doesnt gel with the otherwise immersive side and story of the game and cheapens it somewhat. it felt very silly that you and your gang all survive a shipwreck, end up in the same place together, fight in a civil war, blow up a battleship, and be home in time for tea.
>tfw he castrated himself because he knew his obsession would end up physically hurting other people and animals
what a fucking saga
>Rockstar had the fucking guts to insert a fucking beach episode in the middle of the big redemption arc
I mean Dutch was cute in his sling-bikini and all, but come on.
yep
Clean shaven Arthur is just too sad to look at at that point
The day is done, the time has come, you battled hard the war is won.
You did your worst,
You tried your best,
Now it's time to rest
