>DMC1 is the best
DMC1 is the best
does anyone say this ever?
I wanna go back to 1998
Do you really tho?
It had the best hype, definitely.
>Playstation exclusive.
>first action game of its type.
>reinvented the way scrolling beat em ups are made.
>late 90s, everybody in leather jackets occultism.
>riding off the co-hype of the Blade movie.
>Ps2's hype was through the fucking roof.
>pre 9/11 games industry.
now that i look at that image, no.
>there's people who don't like 1
was that meant to look unappealing? because to me it's just showing how fucking awesome the 90's were
It's not but at least it's better than 4 or 5 in combat balance and level design. Story is arguably better too.
Nowadays you can have everything from the 90's and more. Nobody is stopping you from playing any of those games.
I can't have hope for the future. Checkmate.
it was an age where women were allowed to be sexy, games were allowed to be violent and fun, movies were allowed to be bombastic tongue-in-cheek spectacles
nowadays everything is trying to be too PC , and everyone is desperately trying to prove to everyone else how "woke" they are by decrying everything that doesn't have a transsexual hippo-kin as the main character
Kill yourself
Me
>nintendie
>pckek
pick one and only one
what a mess, jesus
I unironically believe this
Me2
Is it ever possible for me to say DMC2 is my favorite without people doubting me?
what do you like about it in terms of gameplay?
I liked DMC1 Dante's voice the best. All his other voices make him sound like a twink
it's not necessarily the gameplay per se, but it was because i was a real poorfag growing up and it was one of the few games i ever owned. it's more nostalgia and being too young to really differentiate what's good and bad. i know it's not a good game, but it'll always have this place in my heart. gay huh
It's a legitimate reason other than
NO WAY MAN YOUR GAME SUCKS BECAUSE I SAID SO.
I have a gaming mag from '99 and one of the senior journous in it is complaining how games aren't original anymore. If only they had known what was to come
