What the fuck even is the point of this?

All you have to do is watch the attack once to figure out what sort of move it is and that's it, after that you either dodge, jump or parry it and you're done.

I just use infinite health and items, fixes everything.

I just watch the game on YouTube. Fixes all the problems and saves me $60.

I just read the shitposting about it on Yea Forums, save $60 AND 30 minute of watching videos

Is it possible to mikiri the purple ninjas' kick?

What if it's the first time you've seen it or they enter a new phase? Also add to the fact that first real boss and the final boss happens in a field that obstructs the view of the startup frames.

Yes.

then pay closer attention because you can always see what type of motion it is. or you can do like op and turn the game into a literal qte to make up for your retardation

It's already a QTE. The game is a based around it. It's like rolling in Dark Souls. This just makes it more clear. If they didn't want to make it a QTE, They shouldn't have made a symbol at all.

How the hell wasn't this in the base game? Why does this even need to be modded in?

>its a thread where OP makes a retarded statement he doesn't even believe
>then newfags swarm to invalidate his opinion
>he responds with increasingly retarded counterpoints every time
>thread hits bump limit
Every time

>Cheating
PC gamers are always fags.

It's not a QTE, because there are still multiple ways to deal with each of those danger moves. All the game tells you is that these cannot be blocked. Everything except the grabs can still be parried if you get the timing. Sweeps you can step dodge back or you can jump forward or back. Thrusts you can mikkiri, step dodge back and to the side and even parry it if you want.

QTE is doing exactly what the game needs you to do and the answer is one button. In this game it's not the case, there's just one thing that can't be done and one that is recommended but in truth there are multiple answers. The recommended one is just the way to press your advantage the most

you actually really can't in the last boss fight though
sword saint telegraphs a spear thrust by swinging it outwardly behind him in a sweeping motion which is gonna get you the first time

This would have been neat in the base game, especially if they designed the game around stacking symbols too.
Better tells but allows them to be pretty creative and fake you out with normal moves too

>i just whacked myself to porn so im not a virgin anymore

You wouldn't be paying attention to the game if this was the case though, which would make it poor game design.

You can always mist raven everything if you are that bad adapting. Doesn't even cost anything if you don't get hit.

Because From makes games for gamers, not dumbfuck PC casuals whose gaming skills (if they ever had any) have atrophied due to years of not having real games, and who almost always resort to cheating at the first sign of challenge

If you actually need a trainer, cheat engine or any mods for this game, it's not for you and you should just go back to playing Fortnite or whatever non-game trash you fags play these days.

>im a true gamer who enjoys playing games on silky smooth 30 fps

Framerate isn't everything, but I don't expect GRAFIX-obsessed lardasses like PCunts to understand that

>make things appear even more cut and dry so people start thinking in even more rigid terms so they get even more butthurt something doesn't work due to how they do it and ignore even more of their options unless they're again reminded by brute force

I use the auto loot cheat. Made the game better.

Would reduce this shit to a QTE. At least try to learn the moveset of the enemy

Framerate affects gameplay

this game is a qte dummy

Have I been lied to ?!

>imagine being this mad

You act like it's so hard to hold the X button for a second or two after killing an enemy.
Only if you're an autist who cares more about his perf numbers going up over playing the fucking game.

Imagine being this assblasted over being called out

Because you wouldn't know they're unblockable from the first time seeing them. Many sweep attacks don't look very visually different from a normal side slash attack, some grabs comes out very fast and it's hard to see them if the enemy isn't a human

I really didn't expect someone to get it. The symbol is just a symbol, what the attack itself is is all that matters.

same. I haven't played vidya in years.

The absolute fucking state of Japanese "game design".

It's fucking embarrassing how archaic Sekiro is.

based and redpilled. this game doesnt look like its worth the time to play it

>Trusting fromsoft not to do shitty animations.

>wrong button for all of the moves listed
Is this bait?

Mod for faggots

>>QTE+guessing game>QTE+reaction test

u r a dumby. theyre both absolute shit ideas but a reaction test is objectively superior. still id rather play the game as intended, however i wont play it at all lol because it looks boring

I wonder why they didn't just do this from the start.

Half the time the red indicator obscures the animation the enemy is doing. It's fucking annoying to have to guess.

It's actually pretty fun and so far has not been a problem for me. If all else fails just dodge all the time. The QTE is just quicker with more damage

No, it's a helpful beginners guide.

>I havent played it, please take me serious. trust me I watched it on youtube

>A helpful beginner's guide
I suppose it's "don't listen to Yea Forums's advice"?

Base Sekiro is still a reaction test, you just have to read what the enemy is doing. Sure, knowing the moveset helps but the majority of these moves are very readable based on windup animations

Unironically considering this. Not because the game is hard, just makes the game more clear.

The animations are small and you're looking at an enemy that can take any percent of the screen. Your character is also blocking the enemy from view. Say it was a first person game or real life, you'd immediately see if the enemy closes his elbows to his body (incoming thrust) or starts tense his knees (incoming sweep).

It's a video game, why not make up the limitations of the screen with more clear markers?

Dude they have like 2-3 attacks. Just fucking jump off, learn what it is and now you know it.

>block block block
>attack attack attack
>get instant kill when red ball appears

yeah its a real test.

listen guys, not every game is DMC. not even DMC is DMC. its a single player action adventure. youre not playing on the mainstage at EVO, youre playing a single player action adventure game at home in your piss stained undies and youre making it look easy despite the fact that youre probably malnourished and sleep deprived.

stop entertaining your delusions of grandeur by beating easy single player games and claiming theyre difficult

>It's a video game, why not make up the limitations of the screen with more clear markers?
To make it harder ? It's a Souls game afterall
