How do people enjoy stealth games? they're just trial and error bullshit

being able to save is still the best method if you can restrain yourself and use it reasonably

more of a stealth game than floating disembodied hand garbage

It’s an action game with stealth elelments at best, at worst it’s a shooter with awful controls and good bossfights

>tries to shit on a game
>screenshot filled with so much soul it just makes you want to play it

I mean if you're talking about Thief 1 and 2 then you're kinda missing the point. Yes you can savescum and just reload every time you get caught but you could also try seeing what happens if you don't. Honestly the best memories I have from Thief are when I got caught and then just rode it out: the time I got into an elaborate sword fight on the stairs with every guard in the building (and won), my daring escape off the roof of Truart's mansion (I survived with only one hit point only to be fired at from my pursuers on the roof with arrows) or the time I hid in the rafters of the museum - and I would swoop down on a rope steal a couple of priceless artifacts and swoop back up before any guard had a chance to catch me.

Really OP if you're playing it trail-and-error style you're playing it wrong. There's a ton of options once you get caught in Thief. That's a big part of the appeal.

not even if you are bad, because stealth games usually dont automatically fail when you fuck up.
you are thinking of horrible forced stealth sections from non-stealth games.

>they're just trial and error bullshit
Literally fucking what?
Thief in particular is anything but trial and error bullshit you absolute shitter.
Use your fucking ears, learn to peak, use the fucking sneak key, pay attention the floor materials, take it slow.

Alternatively just fucking kill yourself you ADHD zoomer.

That's because you're save scumming. Fool
