RE2 is 21 years old and RE as a franchise has evolved to become something entirely different to what it used to be so a remake is warranted. DMC3 is only 14 years old and is incredibly similar to DMC5, all a remake would offer it is updating and polishing, not doing anything truly new with it. 1 could be remade but it's not really needed either, just depends on what they want to make, but given the fact 1 would have no Nero, no Nico, no Lady, and zombie Vergil stuck in Nelo, I doubt they'd want to make it.

Is it actually known how significant an effect Itsuno having to deal with DmC had on DD? I'm sure it didn't do DD any favours, and I know people will take any reason to shit on NT, but DD is missing a whole lot of what it was supposed to have, and I find it hard to believe that having to deal with DmC alone would be enough to take out such an enormous amount of DD. It strikes me as much more likely that DD was just pushed out the door by Capcom before it was ready being the main reason DD was released as it is, rather than Itsuno having to help with DmC.

I honestly don't think they could keep the spirit of the original DMC3 in tact, Dan's Vergil voice doesn't sound the same without the shitty PS2 sound quality and I don't think his DMCV voice sounds as good.
Also if they made the OST more EDM/Electronic like DMCV's I would riot, the gothic/Industrial music of DMC3 is so above the rest of the series aside from DMC1.

Sure, and that's why I said I don't doubt that it did DD no favours, but they had plans for DD that they've shown, and Itsuno didn't bring the whole team over with him. Kinoshita could have kept things moving along in Itsuno's absence and some work could be done without him, but DD, as it is, has multiple planned areas completely absent, the whole endgame and connectivity between player's games had to be removed and the story doesn't even make sense because they couldn't implement the moon section which would have an actual explanation for why meteors land on Gransys and everything goes to shit. It's a vastly different result from what they had planned for the game and it strikes me as unlikely that NT is the sole blame for that. I don't even think they could do that much harm to DD if they were trying to deliberately waste Itsuno's time. It seems much more likely that the blame lies with Capcom.

Heaven/God/Angels apparently don't exist in DMC in the traditional sense. It's kind of unclear what the after life is though. The most commonly accepted theory is that Hell in DMC is more like another dimension rather than an afterlife, notice it's more often called "the underworld" or "the demon world/realm" rather than Hell by characters. But I think one of the descriptions for the Hells enemies in DMC3 says that their jobs in the demon world are to be jailers and punish those who have commited whatever sin matches them, i.e. lust, sloth, pride etc.

After DMC3 the development team were actually kind of burnt out on Dante.
So they made Nero who was originally going to be much less similar to him than he wound up being to try to shake things up.
Since 4 didn't really turn out too well they decided to try to give another shot I guess with 5.
Dante's OP but they could always just up the stakes or try to tell a story that compensates for having such an powerful protag.

Yes. Also, V as an AI partner is awful. He will literally just run straight into the enemy instead of keeping his distance and letting shadow and griffon do all the work. He basically walked into a touch of death combo with the angelos on DMD. Interestingly enough, on hell and hell nero's AI did ok on that mission. Somehow didn't get hit at all when he would also die in one hit.

Too powerful, Dante defeated the most powerful demon in existence in dmc 1, from what ive seen dmc 2 was a cakewalk for him, 3 doesnt count because its a prequel, cronologically speaking, Dante hasnt fought anyone stronger than Mundus since dmc 1. I also think that the writer got stuck somehow, having Dante meet a woman who is his companion during the game for the fourth time would get annoying, no idea why they did that 3 times, also im sure they wanted to experiment with new combat styles, Dante already has 4 styles.
All in all Dante reached his cap in the very first game so they felt the need to put some new blood that had the chance to grow over games while defeating enemies that narratively speaking were actually a threat, im sure Dante didnt need Nero to defeat Sanctus and the Savior.

Basically, they spawn in with a basic masc that they can only jump, double swipe, jump-then-leap-kick with, and once you do a bit of damage they swap to red mask with giant red arm for melee and grabs, then for the last bit of health they swap to green mask for throwing eyes and running away. During the lengthy mask up animation, you can parry them i think right when the mask is put on? I don't bother timing it tho, i just get in front of them (plenty of time once you realize the animation has started) and ONETWOTHREEFOUFISI or revolver to free parry. then they're staggered fora while and you can launch them and shit. They will eventually get the next mask on tho i think. They will drop their final eyeball mask before death tho, meaning their last bit of health they are helpeless and just crawl around meekly. Use rainstorm often to clear eyeballs. I like to not focus nobody til late in the mob, as that way they never get low enough to start throwing eyes while i'm focusing something else. Their tells are super slow if you're paying attention, so i don't find them to be threatening 1v1, but their armor is obnoxious when trying to deal with them in a crowd. The red arm has some funky tells tho, i'm not 100% confident against it. Need more void time. As always, DT breaks out of all grabs.
I did not know it was a parry mechanic as well. Hadn't noticed. Which moves? The basic swipes? can you parry the giant red arm attacks?

You can dip your toes into DMD and then do the void, which will put the enemies at DMD level.
Also this is the easiest of second easiest DMD in the franchise bro. Basic enemeis never get as annoying as chimera or fausts, but bosses are HP sinks. That being said, i think the bosses are still pretty easy, with Vergil and Urizen being the two that i needed most time to really learn. Cerberus can be imposing but jump guard tech makes life much easier. I think you should try DMD. Keep trying to get better user, I believe in you!

Dante is a finished character in terms of power. He is the most powerful character in that universe as far as we know, only rivaled by Vergil and Dante.
The only way to develop him is emotionally, make him into a villain or just make him a side character like in 4, where he just has a fun time in a 'a week in the life of Dante' fashion.
The developing emotionally part failed in 5, making him a villain isn't going to go well with fans. So for now he's stuck in hell. (Although yamato and hellgates can easily get him out)
Nero was made so they'd have something work with and isn't emotionally stunted and has ways to grow in terms of strength. But now that he is on par with Dante and Vergil that also is finished. Muh Kyrie is done, just some mild Daddy issues left.
It isn't all thought out properly, and all that I can think of for DMC6 is Sparda coming back and them killing Mundus forever.

DMD is the best part of the game. I had more fun with it than any other mode, it actually lets you style unlike the low HP even in SOS. 8, 10, 12, and 18 are the only missions in the game that give a large challenge and that's due to the style meters being busted in them, which will inevitably be patched from all the insane bitching from the community. That's why I did it before the nerf, so I can show people online how cool I am.

It just dosn't work honestly. It ruins the detailing of the coat and looks a little childish. The black shows his growth and really brings out the blue details of not only the coat but of his vest as well to create a colour harmony that's very easy on the eyes. DMC3 works with the blue as it had the same direction applied to it but just like how I don't like DMC3 Vergil in black, I don't like DMC5 Vergil in blue.
