On the 3DS at least, you do the game, and then put it on the uhhh online place for people to download, people can play your game for free even if they don't own RPG maker because there is an "RPG maker player" thing or something, shit's super limited and the game don't tell you a single fucking thing about how to make things work so you gotta figure everything out yourself.
