I don't think any game after Curious Village matched it in quality. It's not really the devs' fault though, I don't see professor layton as being suited for sequels.

Prof Layton games that followed after Unwound Future (the best) still deliver in the music, puzzle, character interaction department and story too sometimes for me. But the problem is that you could say the formula of storytelling and the twists, and the gameplay can get stale and very repetitive after the third game.

its story is kinda weak but it's a very fun game, especially with friends

That's how it should've gone.

The most memorable thing about Mario Kart DS is the online mode. Half the people were using action replay, it was not uncommon to start a race and see someone spamming blue shells before the race even started. Some of those people were actually pretty helpful though, they were able to select courses that were normally unplayable online. I remember one time one of the hackers chose figure 8 circuit, but when the race stared it was actually some weird beta version of cheep cheep beach and all 4 of us were able to race on it like a normal track. Also creating and showing off yout own emblem was kino.

TWEWY is one of the best games on the system, bar none.
