If you're going to show of the borked UI in Skyrim, at least use the fucking Skills and Perks screen. Everything else I can easily forgive. The Perk Trees are absolute Shit to navigate, though.

skyrim's overall UI is the best one for a game with large inventories and items that need to be spread over lots of categories.
skyui doesn't really change the layout. it just adds searching and sorting with smaller text.
now look at morrowind's ui. it is based on icons not text and many of the icons are reused so you don't know where anything is. the spells menu is a goddamn mess. just a huge list. the map and character screens are awful.
